Since I got my freeze dryer, I keep looking for tasty recipes for “meals-in-bags” so I can make my own MREs to put in my food storage. I live alone, but I’m in my 70s. So I figure much of what I store will benefit my daughter and her family. I’m a prepper. This recipe is a keeper. And I freeze dry citrus fruit wedges, so I can put one of those in the jar and not have to buy those packets of flavoring. We are from out west, but now live in Tennessee. It’s hard to find good Mexican food here. That seasoning recipe is worth its weight in gold ❤ Thank you for that and everything else 🙏
Thank you! We have to blend everything up for my granddaughter, too, but we feed her with a spoon. This recipe looks so good. I think I'm going to add some freeze dried cilantro and a baggie of freeze dried rice(to serve the fajitas over) to the package. I'm trying to make the meals as easy as i can for my daughter in-law
Oh my! I have never thought to use freeze dried ingredients for my daughter’s blended food! She has a gtube too! That is a game changer! Now I pressure can some of her meals or I do all of her blends fresh daily!!!
Looks delicious! I will have to make these up and definitely make up some of your sasson seasoning. I also want to start making up some of my own spice blends. Blessings
Just wondering are you a consultant or a refer a friend? I was looking for something to do from home as a business. Also thought about freeze drying my vegetables and stuff but then I’d have to buy the freeze dryer and increase my garden to a bigger garden. Lol this could be a solution to my small problem. Just wanted a little bit more info on the company I guess thanks for your time.
I ordered Thrive life snacks, dragon fruit chips, snap peas Etc. Paid for my membership a year head. No one will eat them, they were awful I'm sorry to say. I really had high hopes but after getting this snack package I literally have no hope.
I have the small vacuum sealer used here, I've found that it doesn't vacuum out as much air as the food saver does and also over time the jar will lose its seal. Just be careful if you use this sealer and check your jars every so often to make sure they are still sealed.
Check the site. One of the chicken varieties (grilled?) has salt, but the others don't. Nothing else that I can think of has salt. Some of the fruit is sweetened. If you look at each product, it shows the ingredients.
I came here from Rain country . VIDEO April 21 2022 Heidi talked about your channel.
I love my True lemon packets in my water. I found them by accident when a restaurant didn't have lemon for my water... GAME CHANGER!!
Looks very good can’t wait to try it you always have great ideas ❤
Great job

There is no paid membership for Thrive Life. Not sure what you are referring to.
Maybe freeze dry your own vegetables? Why would you pay for that Brand name food in a can?

I have not had that issue. Check my jars monthly, I do add an oxygen absorber.
So just plain chicken... Not seasoned
