You should use the dry container for the Vitamix to powder it once it’s freeze dried. Also don’t put as much in it. It works so much better than the wet container. Comedy of errors ladies. 😂😂 The Vitamix is really an amazing machine.

I harvested my turmeric a week ago and cut, dried and powdered my turmeric yesterday. Tomorrow I’m drying the ginger I grew. It feels so good to grow and process your own food.
Can't wait to see you all on the 15th for my third wonderful workshop with you girls. I hope that I will be able to try these amazing blend as I am having a flair up with my Fibromyalgia. So far I adore everything from you girls.

Sounds very similar to what you're doing .
Inspired by your video here, I made a version of this powder with lemons, oranges and limes I already had freeze dried. Ground them to powder with black pepper corns in the dry grain container of the Vitamix and added ginger and turmeric powder. It tastes delicious and much easier to make! I mix a teaspoon with a little honey and add a little water to make a healthy immune “Tang” shot! Thanks for sharing so much and for all the laughs! You girls are hilarious and REAL! And we all love you for it! ❤️

I am so glad that I found your channel. I have my freeze drier, have for almost 2 years now and not even done the bread test or taken the pump out of the box! But I want to. I think partly because we are in a small apartment (and I'm in the living room for now) and I was afraid of the amount of constant noise. But the fact that you video with it running in the background is helping me realize that it might not be that bad. I'm going to do it! Just need the push ... and the time to sit down and read all the instructions 3 times like they say! I have wanted to freeze dry this same thing as they are taking up room in my freezer as well in the cubes. Anyway - Thank you! (I also shared your video with someone who is a big Vitamix person - ...)

I absolutely adore your interaction together! I learn more from your videos when there are "oops!" moments - My Dad used to say that when you laugh, your brain absorbs more. I don't know if that has validity, but I do remember more from the classes I had where the teacher tried to make the class fun... Would you consider reconstituting your immuni-tang in coconut milk? It reminds me a little of golden coconut milk with added boosters.

I’ve learned a few things about freeze drying that might be helpful. 1. Common sense would tell you that it would be better if you don’t add much water and that it would take less time to freeze dry if it has less water in it. I freeze dried some sweet potato purée and did the same thing (made it thick). When it came out, it was rock hard and really hard to break and impossible to powder. It would be better to water it down and make it soupier because the water will be removed, leaving a much lighter, airy product. 2. Be really careful using a blender that has been recently washed. Any water droplets remaining will undo hours (days) of freeze drying you just did.

Just finished my 1/2 gallon sized container of the "Immune Booster" ... from the freeze dryer...so delicious. Tried it a couple different ways...with honey in a little warm water ...so good...then tried a bit added to my glass of kombucha...double yummy. I rolled in a bag to keep the dust down...loved your video with your beautiful Mom. Keep up the great information.
