I love the mindset "it won't start, so lets just give it a little wash"... vs how I would freak out and cuss like a little punk. Your resilience is admirable!!
This has become by far my favorite car you have on the channel. I was audibly celebrating in the crib when I saw how good it was running at the start of the video. So good to see this thing running healthier, keep chasing those loose ends it’s coming along great. Love to see the growth
Very nice, happy for you getting it running well again. Mine is sitting for the winter here in Germany. Which means, time to do some repairs and upkeep.
@@MiguelDsm is the stalling a tune/cold start issue I’ve noticed it happens a lot? Other than that this car is awesome so nice to see one well taken care of
From XP depending on the FPR, they tend to drop when the car shuts off. The AEM I had immediately dropped to 0, but the Fuelab I replaced it with, drains much slower then will hold pressure low for a bit before eventually reaching 0. So I probably wouldn't worry about that too much.
If you have a maf sensor car , reciculated bov is the way to go , cause the maf feel its like a vacum leak and its gonna compesate fuel , had the same problem on the wrx and a turbo spec v
BSPT pipe threads and NPT pipe threads are identical, EXCEPT BSPT have 55 degree threads and NPT have 60 degree threads. This means a male BSPT fitting will fit into a female NPT fitting easily and might not seal. A male NPT fitting will have an interference on a BSPT female fitting. In this case the BSPT female fitting is made of aluminum, so you're damaging the threads by installing the NPT fitting. I'd recommend tapping it with an NPT tap first, that way you cut the threads rather than compress them. You're much more likely to get a good seal doing this, and don't have to worry about cracking anything.
Anyone want to buy a pretty much stock 91 SL 81k miles, 60k service done, IAC, MAF, Sparks/Wiring, New rust free fuel tank, V12 Throttle hanger with pump, New thermostat, Mishimoto Rad, Extended Oil Pan, 2 New back tires, New battery, Injectors cleaned and flow tested, New fuel filter, Combat wing, 6 Manuals for engine to body for mechanics, vr4 Smokin dash vents, AEM Oil gauge needs install comes with everything, Compression test was good with 200+ on all 6. Just chasing this misfire and I no longer have time or the energy.
Miguel if you want to have way more space. Have Anthony grab you some spal fans and delete the charcoal canister. You will have so much more space and also much better cooling
Sounds like your car is struggling to light off the fuel. Mines been doing it in cold temps even with 13:1 compression. Solved the issue by taking 1.5 degrees of timing advance out. Going from 4 to 2.5 fires right up now. And yea it does the whole smoking thing on start up to lol.yours is more likely low compression and high octane fuel. Mine looses compression on start up because of the valve overlap from the bigger cams plus 100 octane fuel.
@@MiguelDsm belt tensioner on mine failed with it at work lol. Had to leave it at the job. Engine wont stay running without foot on the gas and its making hella squealing sounds. Belt tensioner is super hot to so. Everything is pointing to the belt tensioner going bad. Easy fix just no parts on hand.
Hey I have a potential car that I’m looking into buying but I’m not too sure if it’s worth the price. 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS with 14.5 thousand miles for $10,900. Been in a minor accident that has left dents in the front driver side door but has been fixed and some parts have been replaced. Supposedly has been well taken care of when it comes to like monthly fluid changes and just simple maintenance stuff like that. Is it worth?
Never knew 3000GT fanboyzzz existed..... hehe. That's cool though, something different in the game. But with that said, damn they be heavy as hell, SON!

Haha had to let the frustration out in a productive way 😂
Glad it is finally running well for you, broski

I can see it happening. It’s well deserved

I personally liked more previous car end setup (99 garnish with orange turns), but it is still awesome car. Love your videos.
I’m on the same boat. Still have to run these to have something to show the LED tails on
Mine did the same to it’s the water temp sensor there’s 2 of them if I’m correct one will cause hard starting that was my experience.
Thanks for the insight

Canister has been gone since the FMIC install haha
Hey man what’s your exhaust setup? I have a 91 VR4 and I’m just curious what you have because it sounds amazing
Did you end up rolling & pulling the fenders for the 10 in” wide rims ?
Will you be doing any other interior mods??
Would love seats and steering wheel
@ steering wheel came to mind first while watching this new vid❣️👌🏽
So, was it just the fuel filter and blow off valve?
