Mayans M.C. is the next chapter in the Sons of Anarchy saga. Set in a post-Jax Teller world, EZ Reyes is a prospect in the Mayans M.C. charter on the Cali/Mexi border. Once the golden boy with the American Dream in his grasp, EZ is trying to reconcile with his brother “Angel” while searching for the truth behind their mother’s death. I didn't know that Robert Patrick was on the show. I think he is a fantastic actor. I loved him in Terminator 2 and Scorpion. This scene is fantastic.

@@kimberlyvarra4044 I definitely have to disagree with that. S. O. A. is literally Shakespeare and the task of world building where Mayans were able to ride on the shoulders of the S.O.A mythos.
Did get me wrong Mayans is great and I recently debated with a friend who said Mayans was bad while S. O. A. was so much better.
I think Mayans has the potential of being better and overall I look at it as a continuation of the same universe but told from a different perspective. It needs to do something game changing to make it stand out and not just one time. If you look at the season finales for Sons alone they were light years better than Mayans (can't go into details without spoilers) Main characters dying, betrayal upon betrayal, earth shattering secrets.
I will see this for Mayans and where I think they can do better pound for pound they have more higher quality actors. Sons have roughly 5-7 for the whole show run. Mayans 4-5 (depending on how view Alvarez) without even leaving the club.
Anywayz that's my two cents.
FYI. The actor who plays Juice and Tigg have a podcast you can catch on RUclips where they discuss the show If you like the universe it is really fascinating.
Michael Irby, the actor who plays the President, is my Uncle. He grew up out here in Palm Springs and was taught by one of the best Drama instructors at PSHS. He comes down to Cabazon for family gatherings and reunions.

They should have a follow up episode where we see what happened with the Swole boyz. Like did this interaction with real clubs and violence scare them into disbanding. The leader looks like he learned and took in what they were saying. Maybe they transform into a crime organization too. So many side stories can be spun from this scene alone. Not even a series but just people returning in later seasons
They'll be a feeder club for SoA so nothing to see here. No way muscleheads gonna be under Mayans due to obvious reasons.

Dude I totally agree I do kind of want to know what happened with these guys if I was going to give my honest opinion on it I would say more than likely if they don't disband after having to run in with real outlaws then they probably become a puppet club for the SOA because honestly only their president look like he could possibly make it in the outlaw MC world but that's just my thoughts

I’m so glad Elgin James took over. It was almost like sutter was trying to pussify the Mayans. It’s more dark With Elgin. I love where it’s going.
I'm not. He pans out the story longer than it should be and then leaves us on a cliffhanger for a year. Plus he kills off characters that we actually like in favor of characters that should have been dead more than two seasons ago.
I agree Elgin is doing some phenomenal work on the most recent seasons of the show. It’s dark, disturbing, and interesting again.

@@supezoop6604 You apparently need permission to start a club near outlaw territory. No club can just waltz in and claim it as their land. There would be some serious bad blood if that happens. Some clubs have done this before and managed to survive and grow. But others didn't get so lucky. Gotta show respect.
Anyone can have a crew of riders hangout, go to events. Yes you can wear a patch of your crew. However, you can’t put rockers (State, logo, MC name) on your vest or jacket label it’s an MC. Only MC clubs can do that. A new MC needs to give a heads up to the dominant MC in their territory if that MC wants to establish themselves as a full fledged MC as an MC or outlaw 1% MC. It’s out of respect & courtesy. The dominant MC will more likely be ok with it. Also you can’t wear logos or colors similar to other established MCs. Asking for permission helps the MC avoid problems you might indirectly start or get into problems if your MC is an outlaw club. The dominant MC will tell you what business you cannot do in their area. Who to look out for outside their territory (enemy MC). It also avoids getting unwanted attention from the cops via as an MC in a shared territory. Dominant MCs have enough heat on them from cops. The last thing most MCs want to more heat and attention on them.,There are codes of honor, respect, unwritten rules to MC biker culture.
