This role actually confirmed that Brad Pitt is not just Hollywood's pretty boy but actually a darn good actor......
I think his roles in 12 Monkeys and Fight Club woke a lot of people up.
from my hometown
"Character actor stuck in a leading man's body"
@junaidirshad1639 Certainly woke me up to that fact, didn't even realise it was him when I first watched it.
Watch Kalifornia pal, it came out 7 years before snatch
I used to have this movie on DVD, and there was a play option called "Say what, Pikey?" where only Brad Pitt's lines were subtitled.
That's cool as hell. I'm only 23, but, I've been around a few DVDs in my life. I always loved the little features and options you can select with them. Sometimes it could be a director's commentary or something else like that which is really cool.
@@holymosey2556Ur comment makes me feel old 😂
@ 😅
@@holymosey2556Im 22 and i remember us having disney movies on VHS
time flies when you leave school and become a neet
Brad Pitt was amazing in this film. Guy Ritchie knows exactly how to cast his British mob films. They’re all bloody brilliant!
I heard him described as a brilliant character actor cursed with leading man looks ... a fair call, I reckon
actress who played mickeys mum did a great job. seems like a real person, no hint of acting
Yes I agree. So natural.
@@ccc4102 Sorcha Cusack - a brilliant Irish actress and also Jeremy Irons sister in law.
@@tybulmer4034
Is that the actual spelling of her first name? In Gaelic it’s Saoirse I believe. Yes she was wonderful in this role. One of my favourite movies 🎥
She’s from a very famous acting family here in Ireland - Cusacks
@@tybulmer4034Omg I didn't know that factoid. Jeremy Irons is awesome. So is she. I agree about her being a very natural actress. No hint of being fake.
Also, Stephen Graham. That actor is really good as supporting actor. He was in Band of Brothers, Pirates of The Caribbean, This is England, and The Irishman
Damn he looks so different here
Also he played Al Capone in Boardwalk Empire.
He was really good in "Time" too if you've not seen that
He became an actor by accident. He accompanied someone to do an audition and while he was waiting they told him he looked like he could be an actor. Something along those lines
I'd also like to throw in the excellent 'Boiling Point', the true crime miniseries 'White House Farm' and the Venom films.
That whole performance deserved an oscar, the whole film is awesome as well !!
"Save your breath for cooling your porridge " 😂
😂😂😂
My favorite line 🏆 😂
I think Jane Austen got there first.
Brad Pitt was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and raised in Missouri. One the best modern-day actors out there in my books. Pitt playing the role of a Gypsy reminds me of a story repeated every Christmas by my grandparents. A Gypsy caravan stop at my grandparents farm in SW Oklahom 12 noon Christmas Eve 1935 after three farmers refused to take them in. My grandfather not only allowed them on the farm to stay over night. Grandma gave them home canned vegetables and chickens and eggs as well. The next day, the Gypsies left the farm at day break. Christmas Day leaving a love seat and rocking chair on the front porch the Gypsies had made that night. The rocking chair was used for the next three generations rocking baby's to sleep. The story was written in the first chapter "Gypsy Christmas ", in the book "Miracle On the Tracks".
That's beautiful, thanks
Where'd all the American Gypsies go? I've never seen or met any. I'd like to though.
@@ChineseChicken1 You do see them in old time movies reading people's futures in crystal balls. That's about it. I've never really heard about a real sizable population of Romani?
That story was from the great depression era when all types of people were displaced and traveling in caravans.
@@ChineseChicken1they are here, but they live in houses like everyone else, not wandering all over the country in caravans.
@@ChineseChicken1They're all over the South. You probably would just think that they are PWT based on the way they dress...not as noticeably "gypsy" as in the movies, but once you know them you can spot them easily. Also, they have southern accents here.
Pitt is a great actor, loved everybody in this film.
I underrated him back in the day but everything he is in is goo9d.
SNATCH...in my opinion is his best EVER💯
“What does he tink we are, tieves?” 😄
I use that quote so much.
One of THEEE greatest flicks I have ever seen.....
Seriously, the fight scene was mortifyingly so bad.
STILL blows my mind that Brad Pitt was in a British crime film
My all time fave Brad Pitt movie!
Same with Samuel l Jackson in 51st state
@cryptosammy Renamed to "Formula 51" here in the US so's to not make the local lowbrows salivate for annexation. You know how we Yanks get sometimes. "We learned it from watchin' you Dad!"
8:02 "Social Security Number" is an American thing. The UK calls it _National Insurance number,_ and Ireland _Personal Public Service Number._ But I guess the script writers went for the US term so that the 'Muricans could keep up.
Good catch! It is strange that they just threw that in the script. Definitely out of place. You're probably correct about them adding it so 'Muricans could keep up. The internet back then was not what it is today.
Or because they knew 90% of the people who were going to pay for the movie would be American
hHhhHHAHAHAHAHAHA
Nah, it's cuz nobody cares about the UK.
@BeJaminYehYeah, nobody is choosing to move to the UK considering the economy and social aspect are significantly worse now than in the US. Didn't one of your Prime Ministers literally deny plans for the elderly to have power during the winter last year?
The first time I watched this film I didn't realise it was Brad Pitt 😂
@@aravindkrishnan7679 Pirates of the Caribbean
You kiddin? Brad Pitt's face is easily recognizable
Lol, I know right.. Same here!
Wow it happens to me too. I never recognize actors that i see first time in my live.
You probably think glass wearing Clark Kent and superman is 2 different person then 🤣
You should see him do the jamaican accent. "Everyting gonna be ayrie"😂
I watched this video, clicked a new tab, searched for the movie, watched it and back here. Pretty fucking good movie. Bye
How have you just found this film now?! What about Lock stock? Rock n Rolla?
Snatch
@@Oldgold-zo3ethow could we have missed this box office smash
@@clintonmallard8447 thank goodness 😅
You’ve only just watched this now. I wish I had that experience this film is legendary
He deserved an Oscar for this role!!!!!
Not only did he nail the accent 1000% he totally portrayed the bold, dinstinct, animated and funny character of a "pikey".... x2 Oscars in Periwinkle Blue
1000%? Haven't heard real Irish gypos or bad ear for accents?
He didn’t nail the accent at all, you don’t know what you’re talking about
He is miles off using an non existent accent, but good performance anyways
Once I opened up to a stranger at company's event with 'D'ya like dags?' joke and they thought I was drunk. Can't blame them.
That's funny! lol
One of the best individual performances I’ve ever seen. I watched this when I was about 8, not knowing who Brad Pitt was. I was baffled when I watched Se7en and True Romance
You should see him in ‘Inglorious Bastards’.
@@kimweidner7351 it’s average
True romance? Brad's not in that, it's Christian Slater.
Love everything about this movie
Which movie is this?
@@highmem Snatch, by Guy Ritchie
I just remember the pigs being terrifying
Snatch is one of my favorite movies.
Me too, no matter how many times I've seen it, can always watch it again.
Golden Brown by the Stranglers…..sold!
Timeless movie and a timeless performance by Pitt. I love this movie!
Anybody needing this performance to elevate Pitt as an A list actor obviously missed out on True Romance but I will say, the Henry Chamansky look he gave his KO victim in the barn fight was a classic tribute to Mickey Rourke which I found absolutely admirable. Kudos to you, for your generosity in acknowledgement, Mr. Pitt. You are a class act.
Mickey squaring up to the dog at 3:16 is so good😂
Lol do you lnow if that was improvised by Brad when he called it a fucker?
I wonder if that was ad lib?
Lol. The way he constantly hits the big dude 😂
Brad Pitt is generational actor, he did so many amazing and different roles.. I love this movie
This was such a good film and yeah, Brad did an amazing job. Such a good actor.
When you realise for the first time that he wasn't fixing the car, he was having a shit behind it.
Well spotted mate
ME TOO hahahahah
Balkan people knew that right off the bat
when ??
Wait..what?
Everyone from Newfoundland - "I don't see what the fuss is"
I knew a guy from newfoundland and I could only make out one out of every 5 words or so. 😂 If that even.
I love Guy Ritchie films like this, I can watch them over and over and I do. He’s always got excellent cast on his films
funny and unnecessary fact. that bark you hear at 0:25 is the same bark thats used on both chain comp/chomp from super mario 64 and chop from gta 5
Holy crap you're right
It's better to say it's at 0:25 though cause you miss it off you start at 27
@@ktgame2640 fixed it thanks lol
Easily one of my favourite actors. Troy being one of my top 5 movies.
I love when the mom says “you’re very welcome” she kind of pushes Tommy semi-aggressively
It's not just the accent. It's the character, body language, attitude, mindset. Great acting.
His jamaican accent is good too
From a jamaican, No its not, Love him as an actor tho
@aneximeswestkhan Yep, and Dominos pizza is good Italian food.
No it wasn't 😂
Are you talking about Stephen Graham or Brad Pitt?
@@S_V_C talking about black movie
When i get home im watching this movie again!!!
I’ve pretty much enjoyed all his roles.
I love that the DVD came with an option to turn on Pikey subtitles.
I like how the first frame of introducing Mickey is him finishing a dump and pulling up his pants lol.
"You like dags?" Is my favorite lol.
One of my most favorite movies
I ❤ how versatile Brad is, he’s got real talent and doesn’t rely on looks and box office sales to make his money. I honestly didn’t like him when he first came out because all you heard about was his looks and he had a small part in Thelma & Louise it didn’t really showcase his talents.
Interview w a Vampire is when I really started liking him, he held his own w Tom and didn’t let him overshadow his talent and character. He’s never disappointed me since in any roll he’s had regardless of Rotten Tomatoes rating
“Tommy is praying
And if he isn’t
Well
He fokin should be”
I see you have Cyrillic in your name, Boris.
100% agree and an all round classic in the film world.
This is the best movie ever. Number 1 on my list!!
I love that movie! Snatch is probably my favorite Brad Pitt film.
He did a great job in that movie, one of my favorites of all time
Now you've gone and done it. I love this movie. I'm putting it on for another re-watch. Thanks for the fun.
By far the best film ever made imo. I can word the whole movie pretty much
In these types of roles, he shines. He was excellent in Fight Club as well. The roles regarding his looks, his acting doesn't stand out. Maybe it's just me, but I've noticed this regarding a lot of attractive actors. They stand out the most to me when their beauty is not the center of the plot. I never thought Scarlett Johansson was a good actress until I saw her in Marriage Story, and Margot's talent mostly stood out to me in I, Tonya. I was thoroughly impressed with the last 2 in the movies I mentioned.
I absolutely LOVE the this film!!! My first Guy Ritchie !! Then I was lost in the madness
"do you like DAGS?"
"ah.. DOGS"
😄
Just love this film - fab from start to finish 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Brilliant film brilliant actors.
Such an underrated movie. One of my favorite
He’s just as good a character actor as he is a leading man
I've seen this before but it still puts a smile on my dial😊
i watched this movied so many times. Its mine favorite movie ever.
Snatch is one of those perfect films. Hollywood has completely lost its way since these days.
And that is BRAD PITT!
Totally got me addicted to Golden Brown by the Stranglers
'Golden brown' is very addictive.
Can’t believe you used such a discriminatory reference to travellers in the thumbnail
As an Irish teenager at the time, Brad Pitt became an instant legend.
If the Sting is remade he would fit the Redford role perfectly. Downey Jr for the Henry role...he would kill it.
I've been saying "you're very welcome" in a funny accent for years and I couldn't remember where I picked it up! Been bugging me for so long and on a whim I decide to watch this video. Mystery solved!
I am from Vic Australia and can't say either lol 😂❤😂😢😮😅
just rewatched this movie a few weeks ago.. love this movie
03:10 It looked like that dog startled Brad Pitt for real. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
But he didn't let that break his character. ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
This movie is legendary
I loved this movie...my favorite scene
When I watch Daphny Moons brothers doing English accents in Frazier they are the worst but Brad steals this.
One of them was Australian and two of them were Scottish. Their english accents weren't bad (one of them just mumbled) but none of them sounded like they from Manchester so that was weird
Hearing this, made me miss my Gram...my grandson told me I sound this way after a few!😂
Well seein as how the outside of my gun says Desert Eagle 50, and the outside of yours say replica
Brad Pitt is helluva actor
7:23 thought it was the Naruto song 😂
I could watch this once a week
that german translator nailed it 2 °!! awwesome and funny 2 watch :D
one of best films ever ^^
Not surprised. He is a brilliant actor.

Phenomenal respect for Brad Pitt!
Brad Pitt best performance next to cliff booth 👌🔥💯
I just realized the narrator of the movie is jason statham😂🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
😎👍😆
He's... literally in the video...
Stephen was so underrated years ago, and yet he showed everyone that he is an amazing actor
Really
such a good movie and a bunch of em went off to be succesful. Thanks for making me feel young again.
I think a lot of these hollywood type are overrated bullshit actors. Brad Pitt is one that I think has admiration, respect and dedication to the arts. I love the guys work.
i agree. i'm from germany so 99% of people here will watch hollywood blockbusters and the likes with german voice-overs (so 50% of the actual actor is not even there really) but they'll go "omg he's such an amazing actor oh wow a true hollywood hero and i won't watch lesser films without the great actors of hollywood bla bla bla". it's madness. people here have no clue. i don't watch a great deal of film stuff but i know that snatch is a great fucking movie and every act is spot on.
One of my favorites.
This is like trying to understand Gerald on Clarcksons farm
Right! I could barely understand him. He did such a good job.
5:20 Chain chomp from Mario lol
3:15 the dog jumping up on Brad clearly wasn’t planned but being the pro he is he improvised and carried on . Guy Ritchies work is known for this kind of thing
Yey, It is one of a great improvisation , I always notice!
Brad Pitt should have shaved his head for the movie and just be named Saitama
Yuk, a weeb, go away smelly weeb
Brad Pitts best role
