Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis is an American talk show hosted by comedian Zach Galifianakis which features celebrity guests. Episodes last several minutes, in which the interviewer (Galifianakis) and guests trade barbs and insults. In addition to the online series, there is a Comedy Central television special, and a Netflix original movie Between Two Ferns: The Movie. The series' theme music is Dave Blume's arrangement of Bernard Herrmann's theme from Taxi Driver, which is on the original Taxi Driver soundtrack album but was not included in the film.
Netflix, Inc. is an American subscription streaming service and production company based in Los Gatos, California. Netflix initially both sold and rented DVDs by mail, but the sales were eliminated within a year to focus on the DVD rental business.[20][21] In 2007, Netflix introduced streaming media and video on demand. The fact that this is scripted in rehearse makes me lose all respect for the show
How could you have watched it and NOT Know that? It's a dry & dark comedy. The questions are pre-written but the rest is ad-libbed. The "stars" sitting in the chair Know they are going to get hit with something they just don't know what? I have total respect for this show. You're just mad that you feel taken. Don't hate cuz The Show Is That Good! 🙂 You should be able to watch it with a different mindset now. A Lot Of Hard Work From Many Individuals Goes Into This Production. Chillax... We'll be right back with who gives a sh*t! 🥰✌️
hey guess what? santa clause isnt real
Must be gullible af to think it wasn't scripted
You wanted this show to be real? That would be so fucked up. It’s funny because it’s a “could you imagine?” satirical comedy. The Office is also scripted. Sorry to break it to you. Also, Star Wars is all fake. It’s mostly special effects and visual effects 😂.
this is like when 11 year olds found out wrestling isnt real
"I am not a practicing Jew,................... I perfected it". Paul's delivery was fantastic on this one.
I'm Jewish and I totally adopted this!
🥇💯
Pretty predictable though.
Every Jew should say this. As a show of unity and also to piss off anti-semites.
I now want a version of Between Two Ferns where the goal is for Zach to crack the interviewee up and the interviewer tries to crack him up with a response.
My favorite joke is still when he asks Bruce Willis "did you know some actors turn down roles?"
This had me laughing, I didn’t see that episode. 😂
My favorite part of that interview started with "Where do you keep your Oscar?"
Here’s a sobering fact. Bruce Willis has a form of dementia. The man is very ill. For real
Mine is...(to Mathew McConaughey)...
"I see you're wearing a shirt...is everything ok?"
@@the_key_x He had some zingers in that Bruce Willis one. Like, "How many kids do you have? Bruce: 'Three' Who's your favorite? Ashton?"
The chemistry between Paul Rudd and Zack G. Is hilarious 😂
Yes they need to do a movie
@@TheCustomEverythingChannel - peep Dinner With Schmucks
From seeing rudd in those tim and Eric sketches I'll bet They've both got a very similar sense of humor
@@largefactory that’s a sleeper
It’s impressive how naturally he brings his own material
the outtakes are funnier than the actual show. and the show is hilarious
it's deepfake bruh!
@@sojournersunrise2290 it’s absolutely not my man
FYI all clips were from the movie, not the sketches
@@thehumanspider7 well maybe not deep fake. But a shallow fake.
I find it to be very hit and miss.
I love that for the actual Benedict Cumberbatch scene, they had to cut to a different clip because he couldn't stop breaking 😆
You mean Benadryl Cracklematch ?!
Skinnydick cumbersnatch
@@constantine108563 yes Bendthedick Cuminsnatch
no shit sherlock..
Shooting Sherlock, this happened every shooting day with Buttercup Cucumberbatch in it 🤣 between him and deadpan Martin Freeman... the whole thing had more bloopers than anything 💙
the "sack not being hacky'd" joke was amazing.
what does it mean i never got the joke
@@nald420 They're talking about hacky sacks. kinda a hippy game of kicking a small ball\sack into the air.
@@nald420 Woody and Matthew are both kind of "surfer bro" types that would do a lot of hacky sack. I can't describe it too well, but googling "hacky sack dude" might help.
@@Rattenhoofd thanks i thought it was somehow related to smoking weed
@@nald420 oh, it very much is actually
The forced perspective in the Peter Dinklage episode is genius
I thought his name was Peter Shrinkage
Thank you, I thought I was going crazy
I thought something looked off 😂
And i live how they spelled Tyrone in Game of Thrones instead of Tyrion.
the fact that they didn't leave in "crystal meth Santa Claus" is probably a war crime.
Zach is so convincingly playing an asshole that I was surprised how charming he seems when he breaks character lol
Paul Rudd’s delivery on “oooOOOO, James Franco wears corrective lenses.” Perfect.
Zach wheezing and snorting at Paul's joke gets me every single time😂
I'm 100% convinced that we need a buddy comedy with Zach Galifianakis, and Paul Rudd.
Yessssssss
Well, they were in Dinner For Shmucks together. But a true blue buddy comedy would be gold.
Absolutely
And Crystal Meth Santa Claus.
“We’ll be right back with Who Gives a Shit” is absolute gold 💀😂😂
"He put it out there for everyone to see. He's one of our best." Oh my, I'm in awe.
Making Dave laugh/break character isnt easy.
It must be extra hilarious for someone who has dedicated so much of their life trying to perfect the craft of conducting an interesting, and professional interview. Seeing all of that thrown so hard to the wayside seems to immediately get him giggling.
I mean... Crystal Meth Santa Claus is S tier
@@aaronwillett1333 The "who gives a shit?" riposte also S Tier.
I think it helps to be older than 50 and know Dave circa Late Nite. He was the Galifianakus of his day.
@@wollam11 I would say Dave was the edgy Carson of his day. A weird part of getting older is realizing that young people don't share the vast majority of your memories.
"hot idiots" is such whiplash 😂
My favorite thing about this show is that I didn't know Zach Galifianakis from a hole in the wall when it first started. I truly believed the first couple that I saw and thought there was no way that people would continue to willingly subject themselves to an interview with this jerk. Once I figured it out it made it much more enjoyable to watch, but yeah, they actually got me.
Likewise! My only exposure to this was him in character all the time and literally thought he was the most offensive new celebrity to interview other celebs. Man, these clips are hilarious though and show the sense of humor these actors have
Probably 15 years ago I randomly watched a doc called Comedians of Comedy with Zach, Patton Oswalt, Maria Bamford, and Brian Posehn. LOVED it but totally forgot he existed until BTF started coming out. Highly recommend if you like Zach or any of the others!
The Hangover
There was never any intent to fool anyone LOL you'd have to be stupid to think that this is legit😂
so, you're not the sharpest tool in the shed then huh ?
The Cumberbatch one always kills me, you can tell he’s laughing out of utter shock at how savage the question is 😂
it's great to see their reactions at clearly hearing the jokes for the first time
I can't watch Between Two Ferns for more than a minute but could binge the bloopers endlessly.
Same, the secondhand embarrassment gets me on the actual show, but the bloopers show that everyone is having fun, and I love that
The sack not being hackeyed joke was one of his best ever.
I love it when even Zach can't keep a straight face! It's his own jokes!
I think the writers wrote those questions and Zach reads them for the 1st time as he asks his guests.
Brie had a blast on those roasts. Bloopers of this show are a gift
00:38 that’s so cute you can see Benedict smiling for a split second 😭
0:43 Benedict giving his 200% not to burst out laughing again.
The squeeky breaks laugh followed by the snort kills me every time
David Letterman laughing is a gem
I love that Cumberbatch still starts smiling even in the clip that was used.
Aw man, I've always thought the guests were clueless about his questions! Goes to show how good this is!
They don't know until the first time Zack asks. Their responses aren't scripted, but the questions are.
I feel like Benedict Cumberbatch is a hard person to get to crack and he just did it flawlessly lol Zach is genuinely a once in a lifetime unique talent
5:11 the way Rudd goes from laughing to completing the joke and making it even funnier as a blooper
They have Peter Dinklage as “Tyrone” from GoT 🤣
Zack cracking himself up before finishing the question is absolutely incredible
3:59 Matthew McConaughey's reaction 🤣 and Zach asking if he smoked the marijuana budget, good stuff
"No shit,sherlock"nearly got him.
😄
I've watched this so many times, and it still makes me laugh! "Oh my gosh she's got a C class on hers!"
James Franco wears corrective lenses. LOL
Love how they are having fun
That La La Land Jazz joke has broken me into tears!
I must have watched it 50 times the last few days.
Absolute gold!🏅
I love hearing Scott laughing in the background
This one gets me everytime 🤣 5:18
I can't get enough of these interviews 😂😂
The snort 😂😂😂😂 I can't 😂😂😂😂😂
This is comedy gold.
I've been watching the show like crazy for the last couple days, but these made me lmao
‘Tyrone’…….HAHAHAHAHA!!!
First and second time I’ve ever seen Captain Marvel laugh.
Contagious laughter is awesome.
Describing la la land as white people explaining jazz to black people is fucking gold.
That was great lol
When Zach loses is he snorts. I totally relate. These fake interviews are fantastic.
The caption showing Peter Dinklage played “Tyrone” in GoT is magnificent
It’s so good when Zach breaks first 😂😂😂
😂 yo that one with Beenadik Cabbagepatch is hilarious 😂
“He brakes his nose” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
“Well be right back with who gives a shit” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The thing that makes it funnier is that everyone involved knows the questions are going to be ridiculous but they still catch them off guard 😂 Zack wrote the damn jokes and still can’t say them 💀
Man, I could watch Zach and Paul Rudd all day!
"I haven't practiced Judaism. I perfected it." Just one of many golden lines here. BT Ferns!
"Are you sad that somewhere there's a sack not being hackied?" LOL
Dinklage is such a professional that he views the whole experience as an acting challenge.
I love how u can hear Scott cracking up when Zach insults Adam Scott
I could listen to Brie Larsen's infectious giggle for hours..
Simp
As long as she's not speaking then sure
“ohh… james franco wears corrective lenses” made me laugh so hard my chest hurts. that’s probably one of my favorite bloopers out of any movie ever
This is just hilarious!
Thanks ..... I wondered if the people were taking this seriously when they were interviewed (I really couldn't believe they would ... but one never knows). Thanks again .... that was a good laugh. 🤣🤣🤣
Now wondering how many takes Zach has to take for each of his episodes to not die of laughter.
This is so much better than the show 😂😂😂
“Tyrone” Game of Thrones
Incredible
I love this show!
Best show ever.
I liked this, it's a very British-inspired style of comedy that I don't often see from the US.
This is the one show where blooper reels are absolutely mandatory
“Ohhh, James Franco wear corrective lenses” absolutely killed me I watched it like ten times 😂
Rudd's delivery on "James Franco wears corrective lenses" is just fantastic.
Brie Larson's goofy ass belly laugh is cute AF
"tyrone on game of thrones" lmao
I like the bloopers often way more than the actual scenes
The Paul rude one was amazing
The one w paul rudd an the dmv made my cry a little
"That's just a bunch of people, sitting around... talking about their drivers licenses"
-paul rudd
if you can make Matthew McConaughey giggle like that, you win in life
The bloopers are even better than the show
The I perfected it line was too good 👍
I need more
1:04 Caption at the bottom left killed me for about 15 minutes
Zach, ultimate dad laughing at his own jokes. My stomach hurts
My jaw actually hurts from laughing
Zac has this down !
Love the interaction he has with his guests.
I also knew the answer to Paul Rudd’s question… and I also still laughed 😂
A sack not being hackied, my favorite joke.
why can't this show still be on tv. It makes me laugh more than anything else I' have come across.
I can't believe people thought this show wasn't scripted 😭
I can't stop laughing 😂😂😂😂
Great entertainment!
That Jew walking in to a wall joke was great!
4:41 both the actors were good in parks and recreation 🤘🤝🤝
I now see where ThatWasEpic got his sense of humor. 🤣
This show is great
Zack is so damn funny sometimes
That James Franco delivery is everything
"tyrone" game of thrones LMAO
