It was nice to see Jen experience the kind of support a room full of men can provide, and to remind the audience that men can be and are supportive... it just looks a little different than maybe people are used to. I have *seen* a room full of men jump to the aid and defense of a mistreated woman on more than one occasion. One time, a female coworker came to work with a black eye. 20 or so men all reacted exactly the same way instantaneously: the joking stopped, the brows furrowed, and the ears dropped like those of a growling dog. It took her a good ten minutes to convince us that it wasn't her husband who'd punched her, she'd gotten in a bar fight. As it happens, I think her name was Jennifer, Anyway, from that point on, she knew we had her back. I think the show did a good job representing us Y-chromosomes in that way.

Between this and Madisynn + Wongers' friendship, She-Hulk is just becoming a show about unlikely platonic relationships I didn't know I needed and I'm here for it
This episode went from fun and light hearted to dark and creepy af....with Jen healing at Blonsky's retreat and then the reveal that Josh got her blood for "HulkKing" and copied her phone's info potentially because she's been having conversations with Bruce. I guess the pic Josh took of her n*de in bed is to imply he got the job done. It's time for Jen to break out her supersuit that Luke made! And hopefully Matt suits up and assist her.
El Aguila is a swashbuckling mutant with bio-electricity powers and fought with the defenders like Luke Cage and Iron Fist and Daredevil and he won the fight with a electric sword.
I was honestly thinking the whole meeting was going to be an ambush. I mean it’s basically just her with a bunch of super villains! But I’m glad it turned into something pleasantly introspective and surprisingly mature for an MCU show with c-list villains with their ridiculous costumes.
As an asian american man I am irrationally heartbroken to see Josh be a main character love interest only to turn out to be evil lol (even though we all kinda saw it coming) Either way though, Tim Roth is just eating this up and that brings me joy
Something definitely happened with that Vampire when he said we should suck his blood that made me think he wasn’t faking it, She-Hulk also noticed it but all the reactions don’t show ANYTHING TOWARDS it
Jen actually letting her walls down and being vulnerable with Blonsky’s group is my favorite dramatic scene of the show. When she talked about how she felt like she was cheating by being able to turn into She-Hulk and wanted to find a guy that liked her for both Jen and She-Hulk I wanted to reach through that broken 4th wall, give her a hug and tell her we all love both versions of her. And I love that (so far) it looks like Blonsky actually has reformed, which is something I wish happened more in comics and on screen adaptations, reformed bad guys don’t NEED to become superheroes, they can live regular lives like actual ex cons. But I have to be fair and critical and say that not only did I hate that the only guy on the show she has dated the seemed like a really nice guy is actually a bad guy, I REALLY a hate that trope. And there is absolutely no reason why she didn’t ask that guy at the resort who hired him and his crew to attack Jen. They could’ve written that he told her he was hired anonymously and has no idea who they are, which would make Jen be more cautious.
The way the show makes it hard to trust anyone new coming in is really great, whether it's an intentional part of the writing or not, it's reflective of how it can feel sometimes after going on horrible dates or having partners that turn out to be awful, it's hard to then feel like you can trust anyone, so I like that the show is making the audience feel the experience that a lot of people have. I'm very torn about Emil, I'd love it if he was just as he appeared and was trying to better himself and help people, however it would make a lot of sense if he was behind the whole stealing her blood, Hulkking thing. He has a connection with one of the people who has attacked her, he seemed concerned that she was fixating on Josh and led the group to advise her to get rid of his number, he has the funding from his 7 soulmates, space at his retreat to house a lab, and of all the people we know of in the show he seems like he would have the most personal motivation to get Hulk blood as he may want to become a proper Hulk and not just an abomination. As he said earlier in the show, Hulk is now held up as a hero and he was stuck in prison.
Ngl, before they revealed Josh was working for the HulKing, I thought he was just taking the picture because he was an Intelligencia weirdo who was going to post them there, which would honestly be as bad if not worse than what he actually did.
So if you think back to the first ep and Banner talking about the healing ability her blood has, who do we know in the MCU that got hurt pretty bad recently and has connections to DareDevil?
Guys, the Porcupine is an old-school _Avengers_ villain. He's a tech guy; his suit is full of various weapons (darts, lasers, gas jets). He started as a rival of the original Ant-Man, and fought Hank (& the Wasp) several times on & off over the years. Later, he reformed and became a friend of Jessica Drew (Spider-Woman!).
The villain is referring to himself as King Hulk which means the leader of the hulks and that means he is a hulk so I think it is the Leader. Or it is a deliberate mislead! For example I felt the whole thing with wrecking her car and getting her to turn back to Jen and that wrecking crew guy was there, it made everything very sus! especially that they wanted her to delete Josh's number so she cannot investigate him!
Depending on you count this is the third or fourth time mention vampires the first was in Thor ragnorak the second would be loki Unless you count blade himself talking at the end of eternals.
@Blind Wave, 0:31 Who in the hell watches a series JUST for the cameos? That's the real question! I love how this series trolls the hell out of those online bashing it. They all claim that they hate this show and that it is a mistake, and yet, seven weeks in, they are STILL watching it! WTF?! 23:30 sounds very Australian, lol.
It's absurd. It's like they force themselves to finish a cake they dislike so much just for a cherry. If I don't like a cake, I won't touch it even there're 10 cherries. I love this green tea cheese cake, with or without the cherry.
I'm surprised you guys didn't notice the guy who asked Jen to accompany him to check on Blonsky is the same actor who was the Police detective who hired "Barry" to kill his wife's lover in the show Barry
I feel like this episode is here just to let us know that there are some cool guys in this world. Pug isn't the only one. Like "I know Josh is an unwashed asshole but that's just the plot. We're totally not saying that all men are bad. Here is a room of great guys to prove that."
This episode was such a clear counterpoint to the haters who say "She-Hulk hates men". It's more like She-Hulk hates assholes, but appreciates good men.
I didn't get that at all. I was just overwhelmed that they had a character go to therapy in a natural way for character development rather than just going through tragedy and/or fights to get it. I love how this show isn't obsessed with making the main plot advance all the time or invent new sub main plots, there's a lot of breathing room and just experiencing the characters.
At this point I don't care if Blonsky is still evil or actually has turned a new leaf, i love him in this show and whatever he turns out to be! and whatever happens he is one hell of an actor!
5:03 -- "There's two of them!" Oh, Calvin is not ready to see *Orphan Black* El Aguila is a mutant; he places his bio-electric energy into the sword. He's a mutant, and a good guy. Porcupine is a villain; it's just a suit.
There was a series in the works called New Warriors that included Squirrel Girl. Milana Vayntrub (the lady from the AT&T commercials) was going to play her. I think it was going to be a 30 minute sitcom format as well. After Most Wanted, that was the hardest cancellation for me. It wasn’t even characters I knew! Looking stuff up, I just found out that there was a Squirrel Girl SiriusXM podcast series in April where she actually got to play the character. It’s Marvel's Squirrel Girl: The Unbeatable Radio Show.
What if the Leader needs Jen's blood for the same reason that it healed Bruce's arm, maybe he got injured/had a physical issue from transforming and has been looking for a way to fix himself???
At first I didn't like the guy, then I forgot about him during the retreat, and then bam, I was like, Kidnapped. Nope, just wanted her blood. I can't imagine wanting to mess the Hulk cousin. It like Poison iva about messing with Lois Lane, " what if Superman show up "
Everything Blonsky said to Jen about how he came to be Abomination is true. General Ross pumped him full of Super Soldier Serum that had been sitting in a freezer since 1942. Captain America had a Vita-Ray chamber that used so much power it would cause a blackout in New York if not planned for ahead of time. It's no wonder the serum didn't work the same, which is no fault of Emil's.
I get the whole not treating people as if they're still having the worst day of their life, but it's a bit different when you throw the whole superpowered aspect in. Man to man, the average person can reasonably be expected to hold off a similarly built person if something happens, or notice if a force multiplier has been picked up. With a superpowered person, there's no warning, no sign before you could be killed. It's just not the same.
I, like Calvin, thought Josh was making bfast. Poor Jen, I feel like the only ppl on the show we can trust around her are her family, Nikki & Pug. "Abomaste" was pretty good. Also how el Aguila emotes when he says "Spain" is hilarious. Blonsky seems to be doing actual good. And the show totally nailed how it feels to be a tiny woman in a room of strange (literal or just unfamiliar) men where you'd rather not be the focal point. Shout out to the 5' and under ladies (I'm 4' 10") I'd like to see this wacky group meet Madisynn 🤣
24:59 *Aaron,* there was a live-action iteration of *_Squirrel Girl_* recently played by *Milana Vayntrub* (of AT&T Store commercials fame). I don't know if it was an unaired pilot, or several episodes were aired then cancelled, but the show was called *_Marvel's New Warriors._*
Thanks@@ryanbrodsky5488. I _just_ caught that video shortly after leaving my comment. I was making sure I spelled her name correctly when that video popped up. 😏
I think you guys cracked the case as to why the Leader is the main villain in Captain America: New World Order. I don’t think he’ll be the main villain in this show but we could see him by the end. His plan could very well be to reverse engineer Jen’s blood into a super soldier serum and who better to deal with super soldier shenanigans than Captain America.
When he took the picture she's obviously vulnerable enough he could have just killed her and that would eliminate her existence. I think that should make people question the motives even more.
21:09 Man-Bull, El Aguila and Porcupine are DEFINITELY from the comics (and i think they are all villains mostly associated with various members of the Defenders (specifically, the people from the Defenders-line-up they had in the Netflix-shows). Not sure about Saracen, never even heard or read the name, but seeing how Vampires are a thing in the Marvel-universe, i wouldn't be surprised if he was a character from the comics, too.
There's two Saracen, one is a Punisher foe, the other is an ancient vampire. El Aguila is a Zorro-type and friends with Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Misty Knight and Colleen Wing, though.
We got a Daredevil Villian in Man-Bull. I like the take on this, introduced in fight but it was light like the show. I figure they're all Villians she or the MCU heroes probably have to deal with
Now that they have introduced Porcupine, we better get Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman. A She-Hulk/Spider-Woman team-up would be epic. The humor potential would be off the charts.

I think daredevil will hell her with retrieving her blood idk
El Aguila is a swashbuckling mutant with bio-electricity powers and fought with the defenders like Luke Cage and Iron Fist and Daredevil and he won the fight with a electric sword.
"I think Jen is penetrable." --Aaron
JFC I adore you guys.
I've always just called squirrels "fuzzy tailed tree rats".
Something definitely happened with that Vampire when he said we should suck his blood that made me think he wasn’t faking it, She-Hulk also noticed it but all the reactions don’t show ANYTHING TOWARDS it
Also who is his dad that they mentioned when they talk about Jen possibly being ghosted 🤔
None of them every mentioned being hired by anyone to attack her, right?

Yeah, it describes itself more than anything.
I like how you only have a binary view on the world
The way the show makes it hard to trust anyone new coming in is really great, whether it's an intentional part of the writing or not, it's reflective of how it can feel sometimes after going on horrible dates or having partners that turn out to be awful, it's hard to then feel like you can trust anyone, so I like that the show is making the audience feel the experience that a lot of people have.
Yeah, that was the creepiest part, what other reason could there be to take a picture like that... 😠
So if you think back to the first ep and Banner talking about the healing ability her blood has, who do we know in the MCU that got hurt pretty bad recently and has connections to DareDevil?
Now that would be a big twist, and might further explain the strength, but at most probably left as post series stinger I guess
I felt so great watching their dates. And then at the end of the episode I felt like crying.
Apparently the highest viewed original streaming show at the moment.
Disney + subscribers growing 10% a quarter.
It’s a small but very vocal segment.
Man, poor Jen, I was really hoping that guy was kidnapped and not evil
"You know any bad Josh's?"
Josh Duggar from 19 Kids and Counting.
I love that Aaron totally calls it @ 4:44. Good job, man!
I love the obscure characters during the therapy session because they felt so DnD haha
Shotgun porcupine
15:06 LMAO he might be low-key hoping that the other dudes won't repeat the "penetrable" word and just laughed a bit that it did
The mutant was Forget Me Not. And if I can remember correctly he died and because of his power nobody remembered him.
The previously gag was great. At the start, I was concerned when the Hulk blood plotline wasn't mentioned in the previously, so they got me perfectly
@Blind Wave,
0:31 Who in the hell watches a series JUST for the cameos?
That’s why he looked familiar. I kept trying to think back to where I’ve seen him before.
I could see Squirrel Girl working as a therapist at Blonsky's retreat
Mr Immortal needs to go to Blonsky to deal with fear of confrontation 😅
I feel like this episode is here just to let us know that there are some cool guys in this world. Pug isn't the only one.
Like "I know Josh is an unwashed asshole but that's just the plot. We're totally not saying that all men are bad. Here is a room of great guys to prove that."
This episode was such a clear counterpoint to the haters who say "She-Hulk hates men". It's more like She-Hulk hates assholes, but appreciates good men.
@@Mertaranta just not her own cousin right
I didn't get that at all. I was just overwhelmed that they had a character go to therapy in a natural way for character development rather than just going through tragedy and/or fights to get it. I love how this show isn't obsessed with making the main plot advance all the time or invent new sub main plots, there's a lot of breathing room and just experiencing the characters.
The bad guy retreat seems like a very Venture Bros. kind of thing.
I'm with Eric, I luv the "previously on" part.
At this point I don't care if Blonsky is still evil or actually has turned a new leaf, i love him in this show and whatever he turns out to be! and whatever happens he is one hell of an actor!
I think that either he’s gonna try to become a hulk with it or you’ll try to do some I don’t know Sum scientist stuff with the machine
5:03 -- "There's two of them!" Oh, Calvin is not ready to see *Orphan Black*
El Aguila is a mutant; he places his bio-electric energy into the sword. He's a mutant, and a good guy.
Porcupine is a villain; it's just a suit.
this is such a wholesome episode. :)
Like a bullet hole? Like kingpin who got shot in the head?
and Jen has a crew that has her back, she is not alone. this is going to be fun.
I guess we will have Red Hulk or this Hulk King, can't wait
"She's been hit by, she's been struck by... a smooth criminal!"
At first I didn't like the guy, then I forgot about him during the retreat, and then bam, I was like, Kidnapped. Nope, just wanted her blood.
I can't imagine wanting to mess the Hulk cousin. It like Poison iva about messing with Lois Lane, " what if Superman show up "
are you telling me you didn't see that coming?
@@davidnobre5660 I thought he might been kidnapped, so yeah, didn't see it coming
The wrecking crew guy. Is that the same dude that Rick killed with his machete?
Everything Blonsky said to Jen about how he came to be Abomination is true. General Ross pumped him full of Super Soldier Serum that had been sitting in a freezer since 1942. Captain America had a Vita-Ray chamber that used so much power it would cause a blackout in New York if not planned for ahead of time. It's no wonder the serum didn't work the same, which is no fault of Emil's.
Yeah. I knew the second the too good to be true guy showed up he was too good to be true.
I thought the cop was about to connect this to BARRY lol
I hope Blonski's personality doesn't change, because most of Thunderbolts need therapy.
Kingpin and The Leader combo. Book it Feige.
Shout out to the 5' and under ladies (I'm 4' 10")
I'd like to see this wacky group meet Madisynn 🤣
24:59 *Aaron,* there was a live-action iteration of *_Squirrel Girl_* recently played by *Milana Vayntrub* (of AT&T Store commercials fame). I don't know if it was an unaired pilot, or several episodes were aired then cancelled, but the show was called *_Marvel's New Warriors._*
None of the episodes ever aired, but a clip of the pilot was leaked online by someone who worked on it.
Thanks@@ryanbrodsky5488. I _just_ caught that video shortly after leaving my comment. I was making sure I spelled her name correctly when that video popped up. 😏
Blonsky as a peaceful yoga centric guru who is also the leader of the thunderbolts might be amazing
It would be very fun if opening scene of Thunderbolt we see Bucky, Yelena, and whole team quarrel furiously in Emil's spiritual lodge.
I hope in the season finale Jen needs help fighting someone & then Blonsky and the gang show up to assist.
That would be her Avengers moments!
This episode made me laugh so hard. I really hope they (Emil and co.) are really not baddies.
I knew i recognize that cop, It was the same cop that was in Barry.
Answer to the second QnA, I don't think it would be in She Hulk, but I would love to see Massacre in Deadpool 3.
I'm calling it it's going to be Amadeus Cho
The Porcupine started out as a nemesis for Iron Man so his suit is body armor with an exoskeleton and weaponry.
We got a Daredevil Villian in Man-Bull. I like the take on this, introduced in fight but it was light like the show.
I figure they're all Villians she or the MCU heroes probably have to deal with
I had no idea aguila meant eagle until Aaron said it
Now we know the cameo of Daredevil is going to be in the final 2 episodes that could have epic finale
I had the same issue with apple and the back button Eric. I have an Android and I love the back button.
this episode is actually hilarious
of course
Saracen is a member of the Abomaste.
Now that they have introduced Porcupine, we better get Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman. A She-Hulk/Spider-Woman team-up would be epic. The humor potential would be off the charts.
Porcupine is one of those low tier villains that simply is "a guy in a suit".
I love Blonski’s get well Group it’s soo good!
Rick with the Godzilla shirt!!!!!!!!!!!
But if they got her blood (with that big needle we saw I assume ?) She didn't notice she had an injury the next day ? I mean I guess it's possible.
