Just to clear up the confusion - Skaar's Name is a shortening of Sakaarson, aka, son of Sakaar. Additionally, it doesn't matter how long ago Hulk was on Sakaar, as Skaar was grown in a cocoon and was "born" as a pre-teen. He was never a baby.
And didn't sakaar have some sort of time difference stuff like when thor and loki get thrown into it around the same time loki said it had been weeks since he last seen thor
@@zapatron1939 Yeah, the film mentions how time moves differently on Sakaar. So even if they don't end up adapting the cocoon thing, they can still use that to explain the fact that he's already a teenager.
He was a baby for a little while, Shadow people mature faster than humans. In addition to that at birth they are already more developed than a human baby.
Imagine being a security guard for Disney in the building where they're writing She-Hulk and they tell you they're going to come in and film a scene where YOU fight She-Hulk and will be in the show.

@@knighthawk3749 yes, K.E.V.I.N. said "erasing blood plot", but she specific asked to remove Todd being a Hulk, while she was rewriting her own final episode as it was happening. For me she was only altering the final episode, erasing all the blood thing would assume that she was changing the past, which I'm not sure this is something that She Hulk could do even by breaking the 4th wall She also asked to remove Bruce and save the explanation of his absence for the movie, but he still appeared with a big revelation right away, so it's not like K.E.V.I.N listened to all her wishes.

In the writers room, these that spoke were actors, but they filled the rest of the room in with the real writers. Tatiana Maslany is amazing in this role. She absolutely nailed it. And I loved this show, it was hilarious and ridiculous, sure its going to be polarising, and thats fine. Glad they decided to make a point, and did not go for safe and bland.
I kind of hope she doesn't. As much as I enjoy She Hulk, if Daredevil goes for a similar tone to the Netflix series I think she'd feel really out of place.
@@catherinesanchez1185 Yeah, she could visit Matt in NYC to help him on a case with ramifications on both the East Coast and West Coast. Charlie Cox mentioned on an interview at D23 that he would like Tatiana to show up in his show. And he doesn't have to be afraid that his enemies would target Jen because they won't be able to kill a Hulk
I feel like she is pretty much guaranteed to show up in the second half of DD, since that is where i feel like other potential Defenders candidates will show up. There was also that Wong tease being stuck in another show and that he is busy with TV... so i feel like he is pretty much guaranteed for DD as well (Also taking into mind he also was a Defenders Member).

Funny thing is the Bill Bixby series is the entire reason She-Hulk exists. When the series became popular they creates She-hulk in the comics so that the series wouldn't make one before them and own it.
I understand why some wouldn't like this show, for whatever reason (e.g., it's not like any other Marvel show, not realistic, not action packed, etc.). I happen to enjoy it for those very same reasons. IMO it's a short breath of fresh air each week. And I find *Jen's* character quite endearing. *EDIT:* Having grown up on _The Incredible Hulk_ TV show as a kid, that homage was such a high point! So well done! And OMG. . .the narrator's voice was _spot on!!!_ 💚
I LOVED Bixby back in the day. Watched Hulk every week. And I've enjoyed this show precisely for the reasons some don't like it. It's broken out of the formula they've been using for a lot of the shows.
I am one of those who didn't enjoy it but I can honestly say I am glad you did. I never understood the idea that people have that if they did not like something that means everyone else shouldn't like it either.
I didn't care that there wasn't much action but that finale was just completely terrible. They just gave up. And She Hulk saying she wanted Emil to take responsibility was hilarious given that She Hulk never took responsibility for any of her own mistakes.
@@catherinesanchez1185 I'm beginning to think that the source of this vitriol is that there's some sort of "entitlement thing" going on here. After all these years, people are thinking that they are "owed" certain things from the MCU. The very things that Jen argued _against_ during her "Feige Talk." And if they don't get them...well.
@@blakefriel704 It's easy---if you don't agree with them, then that might mean that their opinions are *wrong* in some way. And *nobody* wants to be wrong on the internet. Being wrong means you're not "leading the pack," or at least being "part of the collective," and that diminishes your sense of self. And there seem to be quite a few of these "sensitive types" 🙄 that get a little sour over that, LOL.
Loved this. Yes, the 1970's show opening was used in an early teaser trailer. I would have loved for a Hulk battle to happen, but do not feel trolled for the turn it took. Very fun!
That was nearly a Blazing Saddles or Monty Python and the Holy Grail ending. Overall I liked the show a lot. I do hope we get a chance to see her in a movie as well.
Jen's mom does seem self-absorbed, but I think it's also that she doesn't like thinking of her daughter as a mature adult. She wants to talk about baby pictures and old videos, and in the previous episode, she fretted about Jen being cold because she wasn't wearing a jacket. So many moms are like that.
Id be interested too see them watch Orphan Black. Tatiana does a great job playing a wide variety of characters in that show. Sometimes even playing one character pretending to be another character.
Yes i would love it if they watched Orphan Black. I just want everybody to be as amazed with Tatiana Maslany as i am. Sadly i don't think She-Hulk will do that so please watch Orphan Black.
What's funny is in their full-length reaction to episode 7, during the montage scene where there are multiple Jens in one frame, Rick made a comment about how they got her blood and cloned her and I immediately thought of Orphan Black. I really hope they'll react to it.
I agree with Eric, I liked that the final "confrontation" Wasn't your stereotypical fight. That would have been fine but I liked that it was with K.E.V.I.N. haha. The 4th wall breaking is an integral part of her character and I love it, personally I like her method better than Deadpool's but that's just my personal preference. I do agree with Aaron though in that I do wish this episode was a bit longer just because I wanted to see more and think it would have helped with the wrap up a little better, but honestly I really enjoyed She-Hulk and am looking forward to her popping up again.
I was honestly worried that we'd get the same old final battle but this ending really put a hat on what they spent the entire series building. It was the perfect resolution to the season.
@@brandontaylor3252 the entire series built to what? that there is no villian except the bad writers? wow so amazing. she didnt change there was no arc to her character. no one grew or changed. men bad, she hulk breaks 4th wall. thats the show. thats the plot. its as hollow as a basketball.
@@redleather420 things are allowed to be fun just to be fun man, men aren’t bad, there’s plenty of great male characters like her father, pug, Matt, the tailor, hell even Emil to an extent. @@alvarohernandez4557 I don't think they think men are bad. But as the show showed. This was a show about the writers. They are even in the show. It's about their politics. It's not about what's funny or genuine . She hulk is a good character. The writers wrote this for the lowest common denominator Twitter user. Because that's who they are. It's a shame.
@@alvarohernandez4557 Those people are portayed as the exception. The reoccurring message in the series is "Look...most men are horrible. Every once in a while you find one that doesn't suck so treasure those ones. But they are rare. I mean, really rare." This is demonstrated in multiple episodes. The people you list are great but almost every time they do something nice the show kind of gives us a line like we should be kind of surprised by that happening. Plus, it is countered by the fact that Intelligencia is literally all men plus men harrassing her at the bar, men making sexist remarks on the news, her coworker mansplaining everything to her and calling women "it", the women at the bar in the first episode immediately assuming that her wounds must have been inflicted by her boyfriend beating her since men are always the cause of wounds, wrecking crew is all men and attack her, all the men she meets on the dating app are horrible in some way, Donny Blaze is horrible, Leap Frog turns out to be horrible, and Mr. Immortal treats women like crap and then the show revels in making fun of him over and over again to make its point. In addition to that, the first episode spent a bunch of time explaining that it only took Hulk 15 years to control himself because he was a man. Bruce spends a bunch of time making the common male mistake of assuming his life experiences matter to women and attempts to apply them to her to which she promptly corrects him, explains that she doesn't need his help and he should stop trying since his lessons only apply to men and not to her.
In Thor Ragnarok, when Thor met up with Loki, Thor mentioned he was only a few seconds behind, but Loki had already been there for weeks. And Grandmaster says, "Time works REAL different around these parts. On any other world, I'd be millions of years old. But here on Sakaar..."

Sure shows and movies have issues, but there will always be people who like it, let them, they are not hurting you if they like it. And especially don't attack the actors etc. They are just doing their jobs.
same, I came home from TLJ in 2017 excited to see others’ first thoughts too because of how much I loved it, only to find the internet burning itself down and crapping on the ashes in a fit of rage over how much they hated it. a massive unexpected disconnect for me at the time, and the point when I realized I shouldn’t care what anyone else but me thinks about the stuff I like. I just can’t comprehend some of these people’s need to keep talking about how much they hate a piece of entertainment for days, months, years after. If I don’t like something, I just don’t watch it or stop watching it and I never think about it again lol
@@jjukkyumiz I think that the backlash against TLJ caused Disney to rethink their plan for Rise of Skywalker - much to that film’s detriment. So I try to get my voice out there to clash with the hater bandwagon.

I loved this finale. I was a little unsure about the fourth-wall breaking in the first episode, but they really won me over with how they used it over the season. Really fun series overall!
This episode may not have been perfect but, man, you gotta give Marvel some respect for how self-aware they are. Not a lot of other studios would've called out their magic formula like this.
I'm glad you guys take the extra effort to put in talking points in your reactions- I rifled through them and found each point of topic kept me interested in what you had to say. Not that you aren't interesting, but sometimes people ramble about random things and I skip large parts because ADHD.
In a way, this felt like the same kind of 4th wall break that Mel Brooks is famous for doing. Like Blazing Saddles jumping through the studios and the movie theater.
Don’t forget, time moves differently on Sakaar. Loki was there two weeks before Thor was even though they got taken there at the exact same time. Jeff Goldblum says if he was on earth he’d be billions of years old but on Sakaar…
Skaar´s backstory comes from the Planet Hulk saga, that´s the original version of Hulk going to Sakaar and meeting Skaar´s mom you should read it along with world war Hulk there is also an animated Planet Hulk movie
I don't really like that Jen thought that Emil needed to go back to prison because he transformed when she did the same and broke the same deal he had... And he didn't seem to realize what Intelligencia was, he seemed to think it was just a life coaching event...
I think the reason I tend to side with the "formulaic" argument sometimes is cause there are a lot of MCU films that tend to have similar tones/character types (mostly in the comedic realm without much differentiation of the same quippy style). Having said that I love the finale and am glad they are acknowledging their issues. What I do have issue with tho is them poking fun at the VFX artists when the real VFX artists are being overworked with too many projects so it seems a little harsh to poke fun at it
37:31 At the end of Avengers when Captain America tells Hulk to smash and Hulk starts the great rampaging sequence I always thought it would have been cooler if instead of Hulk waiting to be told to smash he would have interrupted Cap and yelled "Hulk Smash!" followed by the rampaging sequence.
I was really hoping that she hulk would’ve jumped into other Disney plus shows like Wandavision or even the mandalorian, but what we got was pretty cool
@@zacharybartolo5111 i don't really see it like that, cuz technically breaking the 4th wall is she-hulk's power, so just like Thor using mjolnir, hulk smashing stuff, she actually used her powers to resolve the conflict by asking Kevin to erase that plotline. That's how I see it, that's not a strange concept to the she hulk character
@@HimmelsBlues At least you know how you feel about it. I'm still struggling to figure out how much I liked it and didn't like it. Cuz you're right she used her powers to fix the problem and she did it in a very clever, funny, and comic-accurate way. But it also felt kinda cheap and fanfic-y on certain points because it was just resolved and some things we focused on in the show ended up being irrelevant. I think I would be fine with what happened if we just didn't include the blood plotline at all and just had random adventures.
I'm very disappointed that Matt keeps looking directly at whomever he's talking too. He's so good as Matt Murdock because he can really make you believe he's blind. But hes not even pretending here
This finale was crazy,I like the callback to the old Hulk's show and giant fourth wall break with Kevin being the robot ;) Nice to see Bruce's back and Daredevil :) Hope we get a season 2.
41:54 You need to watch the opening credits of The Incredible Hulk again. It shows the accident. It shows the homages to Bixby's origin as Banner. They even showed it in this episode. Bruce's blood affected Stan, Mr. Blue, and Abomination in his movie. It affected Jen in this series, and her blood was hunted to make further Gamma powered subjects.
Very weird timing that this episode aired the same time Alex Jones got slapped with an almost $1 Billion punishment for lying and harassing innocent people 😅
I REALLY hope that Madisynn makes a comeback in season 2? I know that the finale was actually filmed first, and the part hadn't been cast yet. I just really love her relationship with "Wongers", and it's too good to leave as a one-time bit.
I jokingly mentioned on a couple of other reaction channels that Hulk left on episode 2 for a paternity test for possible son, glad to see I was right.
32:05 I even hear this about Andor which is soo damn good. People crying that it's not classic Starwars and complaining disney has to make shows like Andor because they are unable to make classic SW. But when they made Ep 7 people cry over it being regurtitated. Then cry that George would never make something like this but forget when people got mad about the prequels. Same with LoTR people complain about Amazon making changes from tolkien source material when Jackson did it in both trilogies. As Eric said people just like to be upset.
"But when they made Ep 7 people cry over it being regurtitated. Then cry that George would never make something like this but forget when people got mad about the prequels." Which of the prequels do people claim is a regurgitation of an original trilogy film? In LOTR Jackson didn't change any core world mechanics or core lore that I can remember, though he did make small changes. Rings of Power makes changes that completely nullify core world mechanics and core lore Tolkien established. Lots of people had problems with the way Jackson changed bigger things in The Hobbit trilogy.

That is a possible route they could do for the films, but who knows!
And didn't sakaar have some sort of time difference stuff like when thor and loki get thrown into it around the same time loki said it had been weeks since he last seen thor
The only reason I knew of Skaar was because I play Lego Marvel games😅
@@zapatron1939 Yeah, the film mentions how time moves differently on Sakaar. So even if they don't end up adapting the cocoon thing, they can still use that to explain the fact that he's already a teenager.
He was a baby for a little while, Shadow people mature faster than humans. In addition to that at birth they are already more developed than a human baby.
The fact that all of their jaws dropped from left to right in sync after hulk surprised everyone with his son is great.
Imagine being a security guard for Disney in the building where they're writing She-Hulk and they tell you they're going to come in and film a scene where YOU fight She-Hulk and will be in the show.

I´m ok with the jump to the conclusion tho, she removed Todd being a Hulk, Bruce showing up from nowhere, Abomination back to Emil, there was really not much left to see after that if we think about it.

@@knighthawk3749 yes, K.E.V.I.N. said "erasing blood plot", but she specific asked to remove Todd being a Hulk, while she was rewriting her own final episode as it was happening.
For me she was only altering the final episode, erasing all the blood thing would assume that she was changing the past, which I'm not sure this is something that She Hulk could do even by breaking the 4th wall
She also asked to remove Bruce and save the explanation of his absence for the movie, but he still appeared with a big revelation right away, so it's not like K.E.V.I.N listened to all her wishes.

If Jen shows up on DD, I'm guessing it will be a voice-over cross-country phone conversation with Matt.
I kind of hope she doesn't. As much as I enjoy She Hulk, if Daredevil goes for a similar tone to the Netflix series I think she'd feel really out of place.
It would be cool for her to be in his show as Jen , but with the Daredevil vibe. So, see her from his POV.
@@catherinesanchez1185 Yeah, she could visit Matt in NYC to help him on a case with ramifications on both the East Coast and West Coast. Funny thing is the Bill Bixby series is the entire reason She-Hulk exists. When the series became popular they creates She-hulk in the comics so that the series wouldn't make one before them and own it.
I enjoyed the show, and the finale is weird for the MCU, but lines up with the She-Hulk comics.
After all, in our media-obsessed world, the internet is our "alter-ego." Being wrong means you're not "leading the pack," or at least being "part of the collective," and that diminishes your sense of self.
Very fun!
The whole thing had a great 'Blazing Saddles' / Mel Brooks feel to it being completely self aware of itself
It's come up in their polls for what to watch next but it never gets enough votes. I hope this show inspires them and other channels to react to it.
Yes i would love it if they watched Orphan Black. I just want everybody to be as amazed with Tatiana Maslany as i am. Sadly i don't think She-Hulk will do that so please watch Orphan Black.
She is actually showing how incredible an actor she is in Orphan Black. She has a loooot more to work with in that series.

@@alvarohernandez4557 Those people are portayed as the exception. The reoccurring message in the series is "Look...most men are horrible. Every once in a while you find one that doesn't suck so treasure those ones. But they are rare. I mean, really rare."
This is demonstrated in multiple episodes.
The climax is basically just a Conker’s Bad Fur Day gag.
I liked the finale, it was something completely different and actually kinda refreshing.

"But when they made Ep 7 people cry over it being regurtitated. Then cry that George would never make something like this but forget when people got mad about the prequels."
Which of the prequels do people claim is a regurgitation of an original trilogy film?
In LOTR Jackson didn't change any core world mechanics or core lore that I can remember, though he did make small changes. Rings of Power makes changes that completely nullify core world mechanics and core lore Tolkien established.
Lots of people had problems with the way Jackson changed bigger things in The Hobbit trilogy.
