New season of Daredevil whennnnnn and all the yeses to them NEVER changing his theme. I got chills from that tiny bit too. I love how he's been re-introduced in this show but it's gonna be so hard not to miss him now that he's gone (I'm assuming it's just a one ep guest stint).
(SPOILERS FOR DAREDEVIL) Everyone that’s hating on Matt and his humor clearly didn’t watch Daredevil. At the end of the show, he had defeated his arch nemesis, mended his relationship with his two best friends, and finally reunited with his mom. Of course he’d be happier. Plus, he’s always been one for sarcasm and flirting
Seriously, the show has multiple allusions to the fact that Matt seemingly acts like a playboy. To the point Foggy was playfully jealous over it and made constant remarks about it. He was also quite sarcastic when things weren't serious, how else do people think he and Foggy got along so well.
The only one that seemed off to me was his "Dont ask me how i know". Idk if its like a joke because he is a super person or what not but he wouldnt make that joke if its like that
People don’t seem to remember “Avocados at Law” at all. There’s even shirts of that! One of my favorite funny lines from Matt in the show is “That probably sounds bad but I don’t speak asshole.” Also, did these people forget he hooked up with Karen Page, Claire Temple, & Elektra Natchios? Foggy even called him a sexual Rain Man because of how he always gets beautiful girls!
Right? Plus, through the entirety of Daredevil he's having to deal with mass murderers, his loved ones dying and getting hurt around him and the stress of his professional life falling to pieces. Obviously he's not going to be quippy.
Except Fisk is out. And he did promise to murder Karen and Foggy. With that fact it seems weird he's in a wisecracking mood. And in the show his humor was mostly dark and dry, and VERY situational. In this episode he cracked as many jokes as he did in the entirety of Defenders.
Charlie Cox and Tatiana Maslany have such good, easy, natural chemistry in this episode that it's making me want them to just wind up doing every goddamn show together from now on. They're just so good together every time they're on screen. Which makes sense, since they're both super likable and charismatic actors.
This is the only thing I've seen Tatiana in and she is *so* adorable! Which is usually how I describe Charlie but he has chemistry with everybody. They are so great together!
I absolutely adore how Matt feels straight out of where we left him in season 3. Can’t wait for Echo and born again. Although unsurprisingly people are complaining he’s out of character for making “jokes” clearly they don’t watch the Netflix show or read the comics. All the acrobatics were cool and telling a hulk to back off. He truly is the man without fear. I legit gasped when they played his Netflix theme!
The official marvel website says this about Matt “While the character was teased earlier in the season, he’s finally reintroduced to audiences in Episode 8 of Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk - and he’s very much the same Matt Murdock audiences have come to know and love over the years, once again played by Charlie Cox returning to the role” still make of this as you will.

Ignoring some of the idiots in this reply chain for a second, this is a really cool point, I totally loved how she comes back to herself when she realised we just SAW all that. Loved this episode. The overall vibe and pacing felt a lot like those crossover episodes you'd get in Saturday morning cartoons (you know, minus the actual sex). Plus, that fourth wall break at the end was probably my favorite of all of them so far. Did a really good job of creating tension because you're just like "Yeah, why is the episode still going? Shit, what's going to happen?" I thought there was just going to be a quick reveal or something in that scene, but it just kept going until everything popped off at the gala.
Intelligencia are the villains I've had the most visceral reaction to since the mum in Moon Knight, because it's that same type of tangible, feasible, REAL behavior you can experience day to day as her behavior towards Mark was. Also, I think it was pretty genius to precede the Intelligencia attack with those small "what does it mean to be a female lawyer" question moments of sexism that goes unquestioned most of the time, just to show it exists alongside the Inelligencia type of just venomous sexism too.
@@harrisonvin2690 Revenge porn is slightly more than "show She Hulk being She Hulk" though. Of course it isn't world ending evil, since barely anything is but it for sure is evil enough.
Do I prefer a serious Daredevil? Of course. But Charlie Cox is so charming that I actually enjoyed every moment of his screentime, quips and all. Just happy to have Matt Murdock back. Charlie is a national treasure and deserves the world.
This portrayal of DD reminds me of Mark Waids run in the comics. Loved it so much 🔥 cannot wait for the show now! Charlie Cox still has it too man. What a goat 🐐
I love Eric immediately turning as red as the Daredevil suit when he heard the theme, but the best moment of the reaction has to be the return of superpowered fucking.
What a brilliant episode! I've been waiting for you guys' reaction to this one all day. It was great to see Matt, and my God, the last five minutes were horrificly tense, I'm so excited for the finale. Can't wait to see your reaction!
Charlie Cox is just naturally charismatic that he made this whole thing work, and I'm glad that the writers for she hulk did Daredevil better than Watiti did with Thor
I can tell from the thumbnail Eric is doing that thing where he gets so hyped he clutches his side and smiling so hard he looks constipated lmao. Best episode so far next to episode 1.
Daredevil finally healed. Matt was always so charming and flirty while the Daredevil made him the brooding Devil of Hell’s Kitchen. I feel like this is a natural continuation of the character, and MAN do I love his acrobatics.

Revenge porn, celebrities getting cancelled, leaked nudes are all things that I wanted to see represented in a superhero setting due to being something so fucked up. Can't believe She-Hulk gave me one of those
Daredevil wore the red and yellow as his first costume On the cover of the first issue of Daredevil (April 1964) features the superhero's debut. Art by Bill Everett. Did not see Matt being Luke’s lawyer The sachovia accords have been overturned hmm nice A wakandan war spear…. Hmm haven’t seen one with one of those that shouldn’t have it since what if. We have the classic hero’s fight each other first then team up thing..
One thing that really cracked me up (before we got into the traumatic ending) was how they brought all the Female Lawyers to the stage and started interviewing them as if it was a pageant.
Would really REALLY make us waveriders ecstatic if Rick watches atleast the entirety of Daredevil (with Eric/entire crew) to lead up to Daredevil: Born Again
Technically Thunderbolt Ross is not dead, the actor playing him is dead but they have not said that the character is dead. The best time for the Accords to have been repealed is likely in that 5 year Blip period where we know they said that everyone came together to help each other.
The accords were likely repealed after the incident with John Walker being the us agent. Alongside the fact that more super powered "mutant" individuals have starting appearing all over the world. it probably makes the most sense to say people had the genes, but both of the snaps awoke the gene in them. The department of Damage control is probably the alternative, they serve to manage and keep track of all the super individuals and put them away if they do terrible things.
The Prime Minister of Finland actually went through a lesser version of this recently. A private video of her dancing in her home with friends was released and many were asking for her to take a drug test and for her resignation.
I AGREE. I don't care if they change the Intro for Born Again, as long as they keep the theme song the exact same. Kinda like how the intro for The Walking Dead changed in Season 9 to represent a rebirth of the show, but it kept the same song. DD Born Again should do the same.
All the scenes with Daredevil were great,it was so cool to see him in court again and his team up with She-Hulk was on point :) I hope Bruce will come back and helps Jen in the finale :)
The best thing about this show is how comic booky it can be, from the random c-list cameos and how they can showcase the more chill/lighthearted characteristics and interactions that comic book characters have always had Bruce showing up at the end could definitely make sense since the flashback in episode 1 was supposedly meant to be shown later in the season. It could have been from bruce showing up to calm her down that led to their time together
It was so cool seeing Daredevil back AND even getting his theme too! One thing though, the "Terminator music" is from "Daredevil" too, from when he first appeared in the red suit to take on Kingpin.
yup. human beings are not locks and keys. we're people with sex lives. it really ain't a big deal. thank you guys for always supporting women and making us feel safe and seen when watching your content.
People are reading it as Jen thinking "help, I don't know what to do now" but when She-Hulk looked at the camera at the end, I read it as the animal hulk-mind being confused by the sight of the audience. She stopped and put her hands up, so Jen's not completely gone, but this is the closest she's gotten to a true hulk-out since that first night after the crash.
I honestly love Matt's line about how Jen can help people when society fails and She-Hulk can help when the law fails because that's literally what being a superhero is and he just casually points out how simple and straightforward the concept is. Like any superhero in the future who has the "I don't want a double life or I don't know how to split up my civilian and hero time" trope is just gonna bug the hell out of me (I mean it already does bug me) because it's like lol it's a super simple concept you just use the appropriate tool for the appropriate scenario.
One of my favourite parts of this show is how likeable the side characters are tbh. I love the little details that show what great friends Jen has, i.e. Pug's gift basket, Nikki using her favour from Pug for Jen, Nikki's quick reaction to stop the Intelligencia video 16:39, Mallory telling Jen to keep her cool 16:58, etc.
Unfortunately it's not just Jennifer justifiably loosing her temper at the Gala that has her in trouble going into the final episode, she caused quite a bit of property damage, but this isn't all either. As this episode reminds us She-Hulk doesn't have a secret identity, everyone knows she is Jennifer Walters. A high end parking structure in LA county is going to have cameras, the Lilypad probably does as well. The parking structure was effectively destroyed, it's no longer safe to use especially with LAs earthquake related building codes. That car she threw looked expensive, and her Hulk-Smash through the ceiling probably killed a couple of people (that was a use of lethal force against normal humans that might not be justifiable in the circumstances). On top of that why was the Department of Damage Control at the Gala site before LAPD officers or LA county sheriff's deputies arrived in significant numbers? It takes time to deploy a tactical response or SWAT unit, especially to have that many out front with guns on Jen as fast as they did, because they probably had the building surrounded. This implies DODC was alerted to a possible Hulk level incident long before the event even started, let alone Intelligencia starting their thing. They were on sight and deployed before the event started or shortly after it started.
For people saying Daredevil is better then She Hulk.. art is subjective and not every one has the same tastes.. I really enjoyed the first season and the second season I found weak.. never watched the third... im also really enjoying she hulk and find alot of the complaints about it absurd but that's just me.
Was Matt always that sexy??? Like dang... Also, his chemistry with Jen is just awesome. Hope She-Hulk visits him in Hell's Kitchen and they actually become a couple.
Not gonna lie, I'm starting your DD reactions right now. I've already seen em all, but seeing the guys smiling all the time and so hyped remembering the good moments from the show got me nostalgic too.
Eric has a reaction at the start of Season 2 that is one of my top 3 all-time Blind Wave moments. There are some... squishing noises, and Eric is, uh, troubled by the sound. He takes the ear piece out of his ear and says in a pained voice "noises. There were noises, Calvin. Noises in my ear. Noises." Or something very close to that. I've watched that bit probably 50 times because it always makes me laugh until I cry.
I don't even know how I'd react in Jen's position. Cry/act ashamed and you're weak, act out and get mad (like she did) and you're a monster, sit around and act "cool" about it and there's no guarentee it'll stop AND you'll be judged. Completely impossible situation and one that I am not looking forward to seeing the consequences of.
Okay, I'll admit it. I was upset when people were so focused on Daredevil and not Jen when it's her show like she said in the first episode, but Daredevil does seem cool. I never got around to watching the show but maybe I should. Not sure if he'd have the same humor and joke cracking in a dark and gritty show like he did in this, but maybe someone who has seen it can clarify. But, I honestly wish they didn't keep teasing him in trailers so it could have actually been a surprise. I much rather have seen shocked reactions rather than everybody expecting it and complaining about it for weeks. And I also do the Wakanda Forever thing all the time! It's a Marvel thing so there's nothing wrong with doing it so I understand completely because it's cool! I also love how we got both a Red Hulk and Wolverine easter egg literally within 5 seconds of each other.
Anyone else notice the guy from 13:24. THE same guy (Francis Noche who was on the 'index') from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2 episode 13 'one of us' Is this just a coincidence? Or are Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. characters coming back?
I heard a rumor that Jessica Henwick was offered a role in "Shang Chi: Legend of the Ten Rings" but turned it down so she could remain open to reprise her role as Coleen Wing in the MCU. If Marvel really isn't interested in rebooting "Iron Fist" (and I can't say I'd blame them) I feel like the best way to incorporate Coleen Wing would be to do a "Daughters of the Dragon" show.
@@christianrapper She turned it down to do the Matrix. Couple of days after I posted this I went and checked, she's actually on record as saying her role as Coleen Wing factored into the decision.

fax i was so pissed the when the cops let the dude go.
It funny too. I guess they really think she not related to hulk. I would absolutely hate to make fun of the guy family, for fear he will come say hi
@@rango8971 they don't seem to be the cop, and they were there way to quickly
@Ben G We are not going to start trying to justify this crime because of “larger” things that are going on or have happened 💀💀, weirdo

This feels like the Infinity War of Blind Wave reactions
Matt wasn’t doing the walk of shame he was doing the stride with pride 😂
Loved this episode. The overall vibe and pacing felt a lot like those crossover episodes you'd get in Saturday morning cartoons (you know, minus the actual sex). Plus, that fourth wall break at the end was probably my favorite of all of them so far. Did a really good job of creating tension because you're just like "Yeah, why is the episode still going? Shit, what's going to happen?" I thought there was just going to be a quick reveal or something in that scene, but it just kept going until everything popped off at the gala.
It just hit me with the courtroom scene, when he said "Jet Fuel". The actor reminds me of Stifler!
@@harrisonvin2690 So leaking her private messages and sex tape that she didn't even know existed is normal?
@@harrisonvin2690 Revenge porn is slightly more than "show She Hulk being She Hulk" though. Of course it isn't world ending evil, since barely anything is but it for sure is evil enough.

Do I prefer a serious Daredevil? Of course. But Charlie Cox is so charming that I actually enjoyed every moment of his screentime, quips and all. Just happy to have Matt Murdock back. Charlie is a national treasure and deserves the world.
This dude Matt showed up, beat Jen in court, stole the episode, banged a hulk, and did a walk of shame, and left.. greatest MCU Debut ever 🤣🤣
Beat her by sniffing and asking an obvious question.
This portrayal of DD reminds me of Mark Waids run in the comics. Loved it so much 🔥 cannot wait for the show now! Charlie Cox still has it too man. What a goat 🐐
Daredevil takes the cake for the best cameo... hands down! it's go great to see Matt again. 100% more PLEASE!!!!
11:11 I had the exact same reaction to the Daredevil theme it's been so long since I had heard it I hope they use it more often man
I love how Matt's intro line is "I'm here."
I love Eric immediately turning as red as the Daredevil suit when he heard the theme, but the best moment of the reaction has to be the return of superpowered fucking.
I like how one of the tadpole goons grabbed a butterfly net to fight daredevil.
She-Hulk is arrested.
Somewhere in New York:
Foggy: Matt, I know you're blind, but you gotta see this
I bet Emil's gang will come to help Jen in the finale. They are definitely going to kill Josh for what he did to her 😂
I can tell from the thumbnail Eric is doing that thing where he gets so hyped he clutches his side and smiling so hard he looks constipated lmao. Best episode so far next to episode 1.
Daredevil finally healed. Matt was always so charming and flirty while the Daredevil made him the brooding Devil of Hell’s Kitchen. I feel like this is a natural continuation of the character, and MAN do I love his acrobatics.
Been refreshing your page all day waiting for this
same
Damage Control probably has a team on standby wherever they know Jen’s going to be. In the event that she loses control.
As someone who hasn’t seen Daredevil, (probably won’t until they confirm it’s hard MCU canon) I loved this episode!
Titania wanted the same thing, for Jen to Hulk out in front of other people. That makes me wonder if it's connected.
I suspect Titania will actually do a face turn in the finale. She hates She Hulk, but revenge porn is low even for her.
@@Heavensrun True, I hope she wouldn't do that. It might have been unknowingly, like maybe Intelligencia tipped her off about the wedding or the guy whose date she went as.
I've been thinkin the hulkking is Titania.
@@HunHaze I'm assuming you're up to date given where this comment is located, so I feel like I can point out that Hulk-King is explicitly Josh. They showed us that in episode 7.
@@Heavensrun oh did they show us . Was that after Josh literally sending a text TO hulk-king. Or was it before Josh sent a text TO the hulk king. or are you implying that he has split personalities and he is texting himself at the end of episode 7.
Revenge porn, celebrities getting cancelled, leaked nudes are all things that I wanted to see represented in a superhero setting due to being something so fucked up. Can't believe She-Hulk gave me one of those
I had goosebumps the whole time DD was onscreen!
I don't think I have been more excited in anticipation for the return of any other character than DD.
I just watched the original Hulk from 2008 and Blonsky was wild af in that movie.
He was, even pre-serum.
I have a feeling he's putting up an act for this show. He will reveal his true nature in maybe the thunderbolts.
Daredevil wore the red and yellow as his first costume On the cover of the first issue of Daredevil (April 1964) features the superhero's debut. Art by Bill Everett.
Did not see Matt being Luke’s lawyer
The sachovia accords have been overturned hmm nice
A wakandan war spear….
It’s nice seeing Matt smile and enjoy himself for a change.
I liked that they did a Hawkeye and have the Daredevil on the last two episode
Now Jen needs to make at least one appearance on Daredevil.
The look at the camera at the end was a really good use of the usually comedic 4th wall breaking.
Matt Murdock doesn't do the 'walk of shame', that man takes a stride of pride.
I return every now and again just to watch the Daredevil theme reaction
The accords were likely repealed after the incident with John Walker being the us agent. Alongside the fact that more super powered "mutant" individuals have starting appearing all over the world. it probably makes the most sense to say people had the genes, but both of the snaps awoke the gene in them. The department of Damage control is probably the alternative, they serve to manage and keep track of all the super individuals and put them away if they do terrible things.
The Prime Minister of Finland actually went through a lesser version of this recently. A private video of her dancing in her home with friends was released and many were asking for her to take a drug test and for her resignation.
Say what now??? I need to Google this up. That's nuts! Finland's live take on 'Footloose'?
people acts like they didn't do the same :/
I AGREE. I don't care if they change the Intro for Born Again, as long as they keep the theme song the exact same. Kinda like how the intro for The Walking Dead changed in Season 9 to represent a rebirth of the show, but it kept the same song. DD Born Again should do the same.
The fact that they didn’t change the theme I LOVED this episode takes the top now as my favorite episode as opposed to the first one. 💚💜💚💜
I felt this reaction in my back like Eric
Who else is going back to rewatch their daredevil reactions?
Best thing to happen to Marvel in a long time.
Daredevil is so cool & Daredevil's theme will never not give me chills.
Hahahaha.
@@Nekotaku_TV ?
All the scenes with Daredevil were great,it was so cool to see him in court again and his team up with She-Hulk was on point :) I hope Bruce will come back and helps Jen in the finale :)
Did they make a Green Lantern comic reference with the fridge comment?
I was like dang, that was dark....
It's connected to Green Lantern but it's also a whole trope/cliché.
Rick "as long as she's not sleeping with apposing council" 🤣 that literally happened in the episode Rick.
Eric: “It’s Charlie Cox, which… is my dream”
Me: mine too 🥰😜
The level of investment Eric had in whether or not Dare Devil and She Hulk smashed was beautiful. ☺️
Tatiana and Charlie have such good chemistry
The best thing about this show is how comic booky it can be, from the random c-list cameos and how they can showcase the more chill/lighthearted characteristics and interactions that comic book characters have always had
Bruce showing up at the end could definitely make sense since the flashback in episode 1 was supposedly meant to be shown later in the season. It could have been from bruce showing up to calm her down that led to their time together
I loved seeing Matt, but he was unusually cavalier about his identity being revealed.
One Superhero to another I suppose. If you consider She-Hulk a hero at this point that is.
She DID "sleep with opposing counsel." THE NIGHT BEFORE THE GALA! LOL.
I’m gonna headcanon that the Punisher hunts down and kills Josh after this. It’s the only thing that will quell my utter rage and loathing
Still think my favourite OG theme moment in the MCU is Tobey and Andrews themes playing in NWH but this right here was also pure gold
I love this daredevil cause he's just having fun here. Charlie cox id literally just having a great time
People are reading it as Jen thinking "help, I don't know what to do now" but when She-Hulk looked at the camera at the end, I read it as the animal hulk-mind being confused by the sight of the audience. She stopped and put her hands up, so Jen's not completely gone, but this is the closest she's gotten to a true hulk-out since that first night after the crash.
5:37 Now this, puts a smile on my face 😌
I honestly love Matt's line about how Jen can help people when society fails and She-Hulk can help when the law fails because that's literally what being a superhero is and he just casually points out how simple and straightforward the concept is. Like any superhero in the future who has the "I don't want a double life or I don't know how to split up my civilian and hero time" trope is just gonna bug the hell out of me (I mean it already does bug me) because it's like lol it's a super simple concept you just use the appropriate tool for the appropriate scenario.
There is only one wish: letting Rick react to Daredevil (I understand the schedule is packed, so it will probably never happen), but one can dream
I’m ready for your reaction… I’ve been waiting since 10am uk time when I finished the episode myself
15:43 "it's like wolverine" yeah I noticed that too also the Red hulk stuff

For people saying Daredevil is better then She Hulk.. art is subjective and not every one has the same tastes.. I really enjoyed the first season and the second season I found weak.. never watched the third... im also really enjoying she hulk and find alot of the complaints about it absurd but that's just me.
I was so happy to see him in a hallway again.
Was Matt always that sexy??? Like dang...
Also, his chemistry with Jen is just awesome. Hope She-Hulk visits him in Hell's Kitchen and they actually become a couple.
Idk…he seemed different. I was never attracted to him in the Netflix show but in this episode I was feeling him like Jen was lol.
Worked on a job back in my home town (England) and Charlie was the lead. Fantastic man. The show is called Treason, look out for it!
Tbf if they didn't want anyone to focus on the cameos they shouldn't have revealed the cameos before hand
I agree. She was the best part of iron Fist and I always wished she got a spinoff series. Here's hoping she comes back .
She turned it down because she was in Matrix I think.
