Just bought a Bersa Thunder today and shot it for the first time. My mag doesn't say how many it holds, but it easily holds eight in the mag and one in the chamber. Seems to be very accurate too with a very good trigger. Very smooth and easy to shoot.
I shot my Thunder .380 today with fiochi 95 gr and 95 gr critical defense. As I suspected, the weapon was very accurate and there were no malfunctions. Very happy with my Bersa thunder 380!
I just bought the nickel Thunder 380 and I love the James Bond look and feel. Very easy to take apart for cleaning, lube and ramp feed polish. I bought three Mec-Gar 8-round mags as well. The sights are a little small. Taking it to the range and I hope it shoots my EDC ammo- so I can add it to my EDC rotation.
I love me some Bersa Thunder. Here's the only real problem I have with Bersa as a company; the magazines. Their mags are IMHO, stupid expensive considering how reasonable the guns are. Pro Mags for them? Those you can find but they're hit and miss with function. You'd think that as a company that's now been importing the gun parts from Argentina to have them assembled in New Jersey since 1995 already, they'd get a clue that generally most people (American people at least) like a few magazines on hand and generally appreciate being able to walk into a retailer and see a 7 or 8 round Bersa mag hanging on a hook in its factory wrapping. Look on line? "Out of stock. Out of stock. Out of stock." It would almost be laughable if it weren't so frustrating. 28 years they've been selling the same gun or an iteration of it that uses the same magazine type as always in the single stack .380 and still with the magazines as scarce as hens teeth.
Great video gents! I just bought one brand new a few days ago. My 2nd thunder 380. The 1st one shot very accurately. I can’t wait to shoot the new one.
Combat's barrel has a micro polish with deeper rifling. Bersa says it is more accurate. I'm not sure, personally. In the market for a CC pistol and I've gone from the APX, the P320 and P365, S&W, and now I'm here at Bersa. Shopping is a pain, but I do a lot of research before I buy! Thanks for the video.
@Gieszkanne it's a 1911 design, I carry hammer back and safety on. The safety is surprisingly easy to manipulate, no problem. It just fits my hand perfectly. Your milage may vary, however.
Bersa is a little wonderful piece , I had bought one from a cool Mormon kid a while back and has been great , gave it to my dad as a gift it's his EDC pistol now and he loves it. I switch from The Bodyguard and shield depending on attire.
Yup getting a double stack combat as soon as I get some cash the only drawback I can see is it appears the double stack mags are only available threw bersa and pricey
Hi friend, the magazines are change on the pistols . Sory my english is not good i am from Argentina. Los cargadores de la pistola son intercambiables . Ala pistola de 7 tiros puedo colocarle el cargador de la de 15
I got1️⃣of these on Stash👍💥👍 mine is Flat Lite Gold with the wood Grips. I love it, carry it all the time loaded with Federal Hydra-shocks, never had a issue with it yet!!! Caught it REAL Cheap from my local Gun Store. So glad I didn't Pass up, best under $250 Gun I ever bought!!!!
Great video as I just got the one that you got used and only comes with one mag but oh well but really like this pistol as I want to get a second one. I was looking at magazines at gun mag warehouse and they have 7 round n 8 round mags for this gun the .380 so I'm guessing the 8 will work. You mention the Bersa plus so if u see one get it as there's not many of those. Take it easy n thanx
Good video - light on BS, strong on everyman basics. I own both the CC and Combat models. Love 'em both. The Combat is my EDC in warm weather. Seriously considering a Thunder Pro Compact. Sold on Bersa products.
Thanks for watching. We also shot the Thunder 9 Pro and the Mini 45 Firestorm on the channel. I like their guns, but the Thunder .380's have to be my favorite.
@@BuckeyeBallistics Good. Avoid it at all costs. I put it through my Berra at one point, years ago, because it was cheap and it fouled my pistol up so bad it started having malfunctions. It was a pain to clean afterwards too. Completely BLACK cleaning patches.

From P365 to Bersa Thunder ? That is interesting!
@Gieszkanne Ended up going with a micro 9 from Kimber. I did a lot of searching and it met the criteria I had for a CC pistol.
