That long guitar intro to holy wars wasn’t typically played on the radio either but because it was an intro it was easy to cut out unlike this song where it’s in the middle ever wonder why Europe’s famous song the final countdown” for example is about 5 1/2 minutes but their radio version was like 3 mins and 45 seconds ?🤔 that’s why.
Holy sh!t @4:02 great variation, its NOT a crime as a famous band to re-work your own popular song onstage. This makes live performances even more special. I bet it helped break up the monotony of having to play the original so much during this time in the band's career.

Although Megadeth is far more technical but Metallica riffs are way more heavy their rythm is unmatched Metallica live performances are more energetic than Megadeth
