I'm still doing research on my curl patterns, but so far I'm seeing 3b, 3c, 4a and 4b.. but towards the top and front of my hair from the scalp down to bout midway of the hair shaft I'm seeing more waves🤔 I'm a mutt, (I'm mixed with native American and island blood from BOTH sides of my family. More Native American from my father side) he always had his hair straight and in a ponytail, if there was any curl pattern...I didn't see it, and on my mother's side is the Dominican, west Indies, Aruba bloodline, so maybe I took an equal amount of both sides of my parents bloodline🤔 and not so much as just from one parent. So it's taking me a bit to figure out what my hair wants craves prefers and needs. But as stated in my other comment. Raw Shea butter and oils seem to be working.

Finally someone who understands! Underneath my hair is 4a and then in the front it’s 3b and in the middle it’s 3c. For the longest I thought it was due to heat damage, but after I big chopped and grew my hair out, I still had several textures. Dealing with this was really starting to frustrate me and I even thought about going back to straightening my hair. But, this video gave me the necessary motivation to continue with my curls. It is nice to know that I am not the only one.

YES. I thought I was alone in this!! so glad I'm not. The back of my hair is so much tighter like a 4b and the front is more of a 3b. it takes so much work to make it not stick out in the back. and I get comments like I dont brush my hair and I need to take car of it. my hair being dried and damaged doesnt help. everyone thought I cut my hair when it started changing and getting tighter. I cant find any of the right products for my curls and for the damage

Exactly, my front is 3b and my back is kinda like a 3a and some of my side are 3c it's so annoying to deal with it I swear and let's say I'm doing like finger coins, the front will coin fine but the back won't because it isn't the same texture and it's so annoying.

Just want to let people know in 2024, that some people may not believe it about multitexture, but it is absolutely a thing. I believe I posted pictures the Curl Mix FB once upon a time and many people were in disbelief once they saw it for themselves. I don't use any heat, I only do wash and gos Dickey method, and I cut my hair into a taper cut a lot because length is hard to maintain when the top grows straighter and faster than the sides, it starts to look like Didi Pickles lol. But stay encouraged and just do what works best for your hair. We are all unique and there are no rules that we all need to do or want the same thing 👍🏾

I don't get too caught up with classifications but I have almost everything from silky curls (nape and sides) to cottony coils (crown and upper back) with some variations within those categories and wash and go's are like throwing the dice for me. Gradually getting the hang of creating a more consistent shape though, after lots of trial and error 🎉. Thank you for sharing with us.

Challenge is to get both sides around my face to look the same. The 2c back area has made it easy for me to set or blow dry my own hair, I can do a minimum and it turns out ok.

I came here because I also have multiple hair curl patterns and your video was the 1st one on the list. I have trouble finding products my hair likes and soaks in. Most of the products Ive tried so far just sits on the hair shafts, it beads up. So last weekend I tried natural raw Shea butter and some oils like black Jamaican castor oil, and jojoba oil. And it seems to be working, it soaked it in instead of beading up. And I put a shower cap on for the whole day so the heat from my scalp really helped. I think it helped with the fact I have multiple curl patterns.🤷🏾‍♀️🥰❤️💯😊

My back by my neck is probably more a 2 hair type. My middle and crown are like a 4b the front is a 3c. It is super frustrating. The middle and crown is the driest. It's hard to know what exactly works when I try product lines. I get so excited to see all that's out there but then I get sad soon after realizing that I get disappointed when I try a new line out. I love that RUclips has open my eyes and educated myself about hair I had no idea about. I only started learning about my natural hair maybe around 2014. I do. I don’t know what they are though. I’ve been natural for 12 years. I used henna for years which ultimately caused issues as my hair became gray. I didn’t realize how the henna was drying my already drier gray hair. Ugh!

I have 3c in the back and 4a in the front. I wish it was 3c all over my head. My twists are so juicy, curly, and beautiful in the back. It is so loose, and gets more frizzy in the front. I twist tighter in smaller sections and use more gel in the front and still 😧

My front is without a doubt 4A
My crown without a doubt is somewhere between 3B/3C
And as for the damn back (this nigga bruh), it be rockin that 3B life with like five random 4A coils here and there...
The sides are the most difficult area of my head; dude be a 4A B and C fusion. My detangling comb and scalp cry...
Like what's up with our hair bruh?!

I have 4a,4b,3c,3b hair. The looser curls are in the back while the tighter curls are on the side/front... Because of shrinkage I get this mullet type look that's so frustrating because the 3s are hanging and the 4s puffing. Sometimes family will be like oh girl your hairs uneven and they don't believe me when I tell them I just got it cut and the multiple textures just wanna look choppy. Anyone have a remedy for this lol

I hate the number thing. Kinky/Coily/curly makes wayyyy more sense

  • @emiroy710
    @emiroy710 3 года назад +2

Left side of my hair to the front of the right = 4c
Remaining right side is mainly 4a with some 4b like and 4c sprinkled around so it doesn't clump up as much as a normal 4a hair would
Then there's this tiny section at the back of the left side that's just chaos. I've seen coils, curls, and waves. This section is so tiny it's not noticeable. Thank goodness. Coz I don't do well with confusion
I do focus on the 4c the most coz every other pattern is cool with whatever I do, but I can't reverse it. Mz 4c would PROTEST

I have multiple textures naturally and it's driving me nuts. What am I supposed to do with my hair. Both up and down look ridiculous. Bottom back is smooth curly like baby soft and the rest is coily wavy and loose curly. Like wth am I supposed to do with that? VERY noticeable differences I can't do anything with that compliment each other.

I have 3 distinct curl patterns 😭. I won’t even curl type it. The back is loose spiral curls, the crown is frizzy kinky waves/wavy curls and the front is extremely kinky tight curls.
