OpenTTD is a business simulation game in which players try to earn money via transporting passengers and freight by road, rail, water and air. It is an open-source remake and expansion of the 1995 Chris Sawyer video game Transport Tycoon Deluxe.
OpenTTD duplicates most features of Transport Tycoon Deluxe and has many additions, including a range of map sizes, support for many languages, custom (user-made) artificial intelligence (AI), downloadable customisations, ports for several widely used operating systems, and a more user-friendly interface. OpenTTD also supports local area network (LAN) and Internet multiplayer, co-operative and competitive, for up to 255 players.
OpenTTD is free and open-source software licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2.0 and is under ongoing development. According to a study of the 61,154 open-source projects on SourceForge in the period between 1999 and 2005, OpenTTD ranked 8th most active open-source project to receive patches and contributions. In 2003 or 2004, development moved to their own server. Since 2018, the project uses GitHub for its source repository and bug tracker.

You are very good at explaining it in a way even an idiot can understand it. For some reason that appeals to me.
Just kidding but seriously man best OTTD tutorials on youtube. You should do tutorials professionally. My only criticism and it's a TINY ONE. (Seriously man great job) some times you linger a bit too long on the basic stuff you already covered so I have to fast forward sometimes.

Can you tell a train to wait until it's full of one cargo type before leaving but not have it wait to fill up on another cargo type? For instance, if I wanted the train to leave as soon as it was full of passengers but not wait for mail, would that work?
Yes, you can do that. It's the "Full load any cargo" option.

Was wondering why I wasn't seeing electric trains. I had forgot that it's a different drop down option.
im having problems with purchasing new trains. since i have sold my first train, any other train engines dont show up in the depot's "New vehicle" menu. instead i only have wagons. could you help me with this please?

All I can focus on is that damn train breaking down every 2-3 minutes. Spends more time in the depot for repairs than on the rails!
how can i display the rail station options ? to display platform lengths and the drag and drop options ?
That is in the rail station window that you can open from the rail construction options.

how to enable this new graphics mode ? ?
It was covered in an earlier tutorial but:
1)on the main menu click the "online content"(probably not the name but it's something like that)
2)find "zbase graphics" in there, and download it
3)on the main menu go to "options
4)there is a graphics setting that's set to "open gfx" or something of that sort, when you click it a drop down menu appears. Select "zbase graphics"
That's it!
I just started my first city in OpenTTD on Android on a Chromebook. It works great as far as laying tracks, but I can't build ANY type of depot. No trains, no buses, no trucks - nothing. What am I missing? I have not changed any default settings.
What year are you playing in? The year you are playing in affects what will be available to you
@@MasterHellish-Gaming Tried everything from 1950 - 1980. Still can't build any depots! Everything else is fine.

Go into the settings and change the number of allowed road, sea n air vehicles to 0

Tried to do trains without knowing anything about them, two trains got into the same track colliding and killing 4 people in the process, in defeat i have come to search the way of trains.

+Midnight Mane I am remaking some of the tutorial episodes to make some improvements and bring them up to date. Mainly the railway ones.
Imagine back in the 90s it took ages to figure out how to do the trains and signals

can you stop the trains from upgrading. At one point they just become too fast. I just play the game to make a railway system, but the trains become too fast
