I've been watching your videos for a couple weeks, they've been in my recommended viewing list as I've been watching other videos on class A repair work. Quite impressed with all the work you've been doing to this old rig of yours, you now have a new sub following your adventures. Man it looks like your soon to have a basically all new running gear for all the work you've been doing on Patches. It'll be a strong and long runner if you keep at it with the same enthusiasm on down the road and in the future. Hope she'll last for a long while now, so you can get some well deserved traveling done soon. You definitely deserve it after all you've put into her so far. Good work Nathan, take care of old Patches and she will take care of you. Looking forward to watching more of your adventures in future videos. Appreciate all the content you provide your viewers.Take care man, may you keep the blue skies above, and catch strong tailwinds, and let the rubber hit the road. Peace brother........... Jay
My man has a 7000 pound motorhome sitting on a couple of Harbor Freight jackstands. And a black cat crosses his path at 6:20 Tempting fate that day lol
Just a friendly tip that will extend your nine lives: Use the wheels removed to put underneath with you to buy you extra room should the jack stands fail which could be possible since 1) they are HF and 2) their only rated for 6k lbs 12 ton on a 7k weight in front. Just a thought on why women live longer then men.
Nice video. I just realised that my 94 workhouse chassis has the same front end as yours. I have thought many times to do what you are doing. Hate those air bags!Noticed that you stabilizer looks worn out. Keep up the good work !
hey i know its been a while sence you posted these vids but i was wondering if you could post links to all parts you changed under that front side?? im having issues finding them and i have the exact same vehicle but an 89. Ty
Just had my front end weighed at a truck station. Mines bigger then yours and only around 5k pounds per corner. Did your springs make the ride rough? Did it raise the height of your front? Thank you sir
supposed to weigh and purchase springs accordingly, I believe supersteer is the only company that has springs for correct weight in 200 pound increments. They are who I am going with
I just inherited a 97 Class A on a P30 chassis and want to thank you for all the detailed videos you've posted of your repairs. I have to do most of the same to mine and am following in your foot steps. Getting ready to install the 7200 lb springs and wanted your thoughts on whether you think spring compressors would be a good idea (room or no room to use?) for safety...is there a risk of the spring popping out and whacking something or somebody?
This was a good vid to watch but as long as you had this down this far you should've replaced the A arm bushings as well.....seems like a waste of time not to.
Nice to see a younger person doing this.
Nice to have all the right tools....👍

So jealous of the lack of rust in the pnw! So satisfying to watch these upgrades!
Well done, Sir!

In the gravel? Is not very solid.. I see leaves too so perhaps ground is damp. Something to think about before attempting.
Now that's a spring
Nice work! That should make the front end feel better.
Great Video.. Very Well Done..
Give you a lot of credit dude, doing this on your own great job on the spring replacement look forward to Future videos Peace
Thanks buddy ☺️
I just following your videos and totally impressed with the amount of work your doing on your Class A !! Did you take formal training or self taught ?

Thanks, i'll try! :)
So are you going to use the air ?
Extremely impressive!
Screwdriver & a brick! That's how you chisel stuff!. Awesome....Me too.
Muito bom 👍.
Tô achando muito legal seus vídeos 😀👏👏👏👏
Great Job ! Apreciated the video
hows your ride with that stiff of springs now? Did you weigh the front end to order the springs accordingly?
Do u still use airbags on it,?
Another great video! I recently purchased an '89 27' on a P30. Would you say this was easier than replacing those air bags (Previous video)?
I need a part number for your five lug front hub can't seem to find it
Did you reinstall the airbags? Do you have a video where you review and comment on all your chassis upgrades?
Check the rubber line's,the bracket holding it in place rust and collapses the line,,not letting fluid back out of calipers

hey, did i miss something ? havent you installed some Air Springs in those coils in the past ? Thanks for the video !
did you put the air bags back in?
How was the ride on that 7000lbs spring.Do you need the air bag?

does you front end weigh in at 7200?
Did the new springs eliminate the airbags ???
Yes
awesome
You never heat front end components you ruin the heat treatment on the parts

You're supposed to hit it dude, not tickle it!
