Thanks for this effort. I have the same watch and phone. WAS able to get "OK Google" to work today, much to my surprise, and initiate a text; it asked for what contact, and then the message, but then fails. So, no change with Google assistant. Thanks again for the video, I learned a few things! 🙂

Can you make a detailed video of calling feature?
Like normally I wear earbuds & they are connected to my phone, so when someone calls me and if I answer the call from my watch, so will the audio from the person calling me will come through the earbuds or the watch? And during an ongoing call do we have an option to change the audio from watch to phone and vice-versa, from the watch itself, or will i have to pull out my phone from the pocket to do so?

What do you mean secondary line? Is the watch on LTE line? Or do you use and app like phone by Google?
Question is this the Ticwatch LTE or GPS version, I am surpised the GPS version has call and texting feature?
Is there a way to change the default calling app on the watch? My watch is paired with a phone without Sim card, I'm trying to use TMOBILE digit to make and receive wifi calls and messages, I could receive calls but I can't make calls since the watch is using phone's default app which only works with Sim. Samsung device works flawlessly but I couldn't figure out how to install TMOBILE digits on the watch.
I was seriously thinking about copping this.
It's probably the best pure wear os option right now, but unless you need the extra features (AFib detection, military certification, LCD display colors), then you can save some cash with the non-ultra version.

Does it work with an iPhone ,?
If you are sharing the Primary SIM number from your phone to your watch's eSIM, can you answer and have the conversation only in the watch?
I'm worried about going for a run without the phone but being able to receive work calls on the watch.

I've got the 4G/LTE version of this watch. With Bluetooth and Wifi off, I currently experience the Phone deregistering from a cell if I make or receive a voice call. Quickly resolved by toggling 'airplane mode' - to force registration. I can receive/send SMS/text and use Google Assistant over 4G/LTE with no problems.

Evening, would you be kind enough to let me know what happens with the watch if you receive a notification (say WhatsApp etc etc) and the watch is on the LCD display? Does it let you know via a noise /vibration? Or do you have to manually open and look for the notification?

It will vibrate and with a sound (if sound is on). When you raise your wrist once you get the notification it displays the notification without needing to do anything.

Are you able to use this hands-free now? Like "Hey Google, send a text message to Mom." then say your message? Or do you need to look at and touch the watch in order to text or answer calls still? I'm trying to find something that I can use in the car once I start driving, but most watches I've found, the voice assistant doesn't do what I need it to.
As of 07/22/2022, this is still not working, I can confirm. Hey Google IS working for other things like taking a note or asking directions but not sending a text.
@@ChuckTipton Alright, thank you for confirming. I read somewhere that they likely weren't fully rolling out WearOS 3 until late 2022, so I just compromised battery life for function and went for the Galaxy Watch 4. So far, battery life isn't nearly as big of an issue as I anticipated. It lasts about a day and a half to two days with passive use, even with the always on display. But it drains a lot faster once the screen is turned on for longer periods of time. I'd suggest enabling power saving mode while sleeping to conserve some battery though. So for people looking for an alternative, the Galaxy Watch 4/Galaxy Watch 4 Classic should do the trick. I'd recommend a 44mm/46mm since they have a slightly bigger battery.
@@pixelatid Looking at the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic for a while, but with so many Wear OS 3 watches being released in the coming months, I think I'll just wait. The Ticwatch is at 90% functionality for what I use it for, the fitness apps are poor, but that's not a big deal for me. Be well!
@@ChuckTipton I got the Classic, and so far I'm loving it. I've found that the built-in fitness tracker works great. Even if I'm just walking around the store, it detects and tracks the activity duration and amount of steps in that time. It also gives the option to record my route, which I haven't tested yet. The only thing I dislike is that navigation voice commands don't work right now. It says that I "don't have any navigation capsules" or something along those lines, but my mom's Galaxy Watch 3, and I'd imagine any other WearOS watch would be in the same predicament right now. The only difference is that it seems like the Galaxy Watch 4 would be at the head of the pack when it comes to receiving updates, at least until the Galaxy Watch 5 is released. I wish you luck though, I hope you're able to find a great watch. Take it easy, and have a good one!
Hello, I have the same model as yours, but I can't call or receive a call on Tickwatch pro 3 GPS Ultra, it forwards the call to my cell phone, whether I call or answer, it forwards the call automatically, as you did to answer directly on the watch and call and talk on the watch?
I don't recall doing anything special in any settings. It just worked with my Pixel 6 Pro. What phone are you using it with? Do you have both Android Wear and the Mobvoi app installed?
Also, be sure your watch is connected to your phone via bluetooth.
@@GrantLikesTech yes, I have both installer applications, the one from mobvi, it doesn't have much interesting, neither of them actually. I have a Redmi Note 6 Pro running miui12
@@GrantLikesTech- Hi Grant, your video shows the watch can receive incoming calls from the phone app and you can answer and talk back on the watch, but were you able to answer and talk back to incoming calls received from WhatsApp, Line, Viber or other 3rd party social apps? Most phones cannot do this including Samsung Galaxy Watch 4. They can only reply to SMS, text messages from WhatsApp etc on the watch but cannot attend to Bluetooth calls. I would like to know if Ticwatch can before I decide to buy Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS. If cannot then I might as well buy Galaxy Watch 4.
The watch in the video it´s the ticwatch pro 3 4g, not the gps version.The video have a wrong discription.And thats why you can´t make calls.Only the 4g version of the watch can.

I get vibration and sound notify for all my apps like discord, text's,etc, but for some reason twitter I don't get it just shows up . How do I get it to vibration and ring for twitter
Go to the Android Wear app on your phone, select Notifications, then to "change watch notifications" and be sure Twitter notifications are on.
