@@astaloaf2113 I know but I'll never turn to the dark side which is Apple. I hear you get stuck in their ecosystem. With android lots of third party choices that work well and at less cost. Marques Brownlee has a good video about it.
Haha, that's nasty! Yesterday a friend of mine gave me LED strip with Alexa controller and while I haven't searched anything online, guess what kind of ads I am getting now in Facebook... 😎
Andrew, keep in mind that I have a medical condition on my skin - it is sometimes dry and some touch screens don't like that. The responsiveness was excellent all the time and up to par with my phone.
I find the biggest let down from the samsung smart watch is the ability to do voice commands. It can take them but either doesn't know what Im talking about, cant search (does not have the ability to do google searches) or cant activate its own tools. for instance it cant start a timer or a stop watch. Can this watch do all these?
Nice video. So, you can activate a sports mode and it will be visible on the low powered screen in real time? That's seems to be what others are saying. Can you customize what appears on the LCD screen in a workout?
This looks sooo good but did they really still leave out a rotating crown?? The last TicWatch teased it with nurling on the top button; alas did nothing. I thought surely they’d include it this time being a Pro Watch! Sometimes a touch screen doesn’t work (gloves, wet fingers, don’t want to obscure the screen). PLEASE TicWatch, include this useful hardware navigation option in the next TicWatch Pro so I can finally buy one of these beauties!
Your video is a nice introduction to the Pro 3 and walk through of the features, but since you have used it for 10 days I expected a little more test data. For example, how long did it last you between recharges? I like the 40% larger battery capacity, the 4100 processor, the LCD screen working in sports mode. Your demos of the voice recording and sleep features are interesting. However, it is somewhat unclear "...decent sleeptracking, maybe the best I've seen until now." Compared to what?
As for the sleep tracking - compared to the rest of the devices tested on the channel. I believe the GT2 is among the best of them. As for examples - there's a part showing the battery consumption in Wear OS app - it is showing the 2 days and a half cycle.
Great detailed review! May I know how long does the battery life last if the AMOLED screen always on display is activated (instead of using the low powered screen). Thanks 👍
Hey Tee - very good question; I've had between 1.5 and 2 days with nights being off. The Ticwatch Pro 3 seems to be designed to mostly rely on the power-saving screen for offloading the need of ALways-On. The Snapdragon 4100+ has additional separate part that is responsible for power-saving always-on mode, which will likely appear with some other Wear OS smartwatches this year.
@@TechMishka Essential mode = a basic freaking watch with step tracking. Not sure why people thinks that's such a great thing. What good is a $300 'smart'watch that doesn't take calls or texts? If a step counter is all you care about then buy a cheap pedometer and save yourself $290.
It still has the black ring around the screen!!! Omg. How did the Huawei Watch not have one like a million years ago?? I still have one; my daily since launch day. Can't find a replacement I like.

hi. nobody talks about the kind of glass the display has... which one is it, "normal" glass, Gorilla Glass DX (Samsung Watch 3), Sapphire Glass (which I doubt)...??? It's kind of important, besides all the features you praised in this video, don't you think...? Since it's the first thing which is going to be scratched on a watch... Looking forward to any answers, thnx.
The glass isn't marked as Gorilla, and it is not sapphire. Simple example: Huawei Watch GT 2 is not advertised as "Gorilla Glass"-certified and has regular tempered glass. 4-5 months of usage and no scratches; Galaxy Watch 2 Active - the fancy Gorilla coverage - and I got a scratch for less than a week; The Ticwatch Pro 3 likely has tempered glass coverage which has similar to the Gorilla Glass qualities.
Is it hard to make watches LTE with there own sim card link to your phone? I'm confused on why samsung and apple are really the only ones with watches that work without your phone.
I have the active 2 samsung and I had the c2 ticwatch loved the style and how good i felt on my wrist the active is really light compare to the c2 but I loved the c2 im really not liking my active 2 should I go back to ticwatch
Great overview! Just bought it but worried it might be too big for my wrist. What wrist size are you so I can get a sense of proportion. Thanks and keep up the great work!
The only major negative I see is the poor water resistance rating... It's fine in the tub, or getting caught out in the rain or the shower... But not really intended to swimming in deeper water or anything like that...
Excellente review. Unfortunately I could not see anything about Sun/Moon rise/set and Tide times (if any). That would be great for fishermen but those reviews always focus on hearth/fitness/sleep and things like that
Previously they only allowed Google music to download to a wearos watch. I've just checked for RUclips music app on wearos store(Google music is discontinuing) but there isn't one. Are the constant "sorry, there was an error" messages every time you ask the assistant something fixed? It boils my blood every time you battle with other wear OS watches waiting for the G assistant to load and listen and then 95% of the time just give up
That's something I didn't test much because I belong to these people that have given up. Tried it perhaps 10-15 times for basic stuff and worked fine, but didn't really dig much into it.
Any detailed accuracy review for HR, cadence, pace, speed measurement during running/walk exercise? Some brands only beautiful, but useless... as they are not perform well measuring those basics information..
Hello, Michael. I like your great review. I see you got your TicWatch's TN screen to display time in 24 hour mode. Is it possible to have it display the date in a European format? It would be a 'game breaker' for me if it cannot.

Why smartwatch maker of wear OS or independent does not have this option?
@@astaloaf2113 I know but I'll never turn to the dark side which is Apple. I hear you get stuck in their ecosystem. With android lots of third party choices that work well and at less cost. Marques Brownlee has a good video about it.
Simply awesome. Great video once again.👍😊
Thank you! Cheers!
as soon as you said their is no blood pressure, I got an ad of another watch with that feature, lol.
Which watch has blood pressure checking on it?
Probably Samsung 😎
Haha, that's nasty!
Yesterday a friend of mine gave me LED strip with Alexa controller and while I haven't searched anything online, guess what kind of ads I am getting now in Facebook... 😎
Asus Watch has blood pressure measure
There looked to be a few accidental/not recognised swipe or touches. I expected a bit more smoothness with new chip and software.
Andrew, keep in mind that I have a medical condition on my skin - it is sometimes dry and some touch screens don't like that. The responsiveness was excellent all the time and up to par with my phone.
@@TechMishka thanks for your feedback
Hi, thank you for review. Could you try support app called Sports Tracker and install it from google play? Thank you very much for answer.
Doesn't seem to be compatible with the watch as it doesn't discover it from the Play Store on the watch
@@TechMishka That's a shame, but thank you for the answer
I find the biggest let down from the samsung smart watch is the ability to do voice commands. It can take them but either doesn't know what Im talking about, cant search (does not have the ability to do google searches) or cant activate its own tools. for instance it cant start a timer or a stop watch. Can this watch do all these?
Yeah, bixby has a long way to go. Google Assistant is way better in my opinion.
Nice video. So, you can activate a sports mode and it will be visible on the low powered screen in real time? That's seems to be what others are saying. Can you customize what appears on the LCD screen in a workout?
Yes, correct. There are no customizations about the low-power screen yet, but I hope there will be some options coming soon.
@@TechMishka Nice. Thanks!
Nah, it still is only with Samsung....
Great review! I just order mine after watching it. Just a question does the Movie app syncs with google fit? Thanks.
The watch has Google FIt integration, so yeah - you will be able to keep record of the data that you need.
Im cannot wait this wear os watch to come to my hometown because i want it
Let's hope it will happen very soon!
@@TechMishka Too bad upcoming TicWatch 3 pro LTE will have 4100 (not 4100+) as well. That'd be perfect match.
Nice video. What about GPS accuracy? Could you compare with Amazfit T-Rex or any Garmin product?
It is very well accurate. Much more accurate than most Amazfit watches. Almost up to par with Garmin.
If the battery lasts for 5 days (actual), they might have finally sold it to me.
You can use the essential mode 😆 Now - seriously - same here. I'd love to see two more days...
@@TechMishka Essential mode = a basic freaking watch with step tracking. Not sure why people thinks that's such a great thing. What good is a $300 'smart'watch that doesn't take calls or texts?
If a step counter is all you care about then buy a cheap pedometer and save yourself $290.
Maybe in airplane mode
@@JMule There are watches that cost millions of dollars and only show time, not even date or steps. what is your point?
@@JMule if you couldn't get your phone charged for a few days you will be glad it at least tells you the time
It still has the black ring around the screen!!! Omg. How did the Huawei Watch not have one like a million years ago?? I still have one; my daily since launch day. Can't find a replacement I like.
That's why the Huawei watch is sort of iconic... 😎
Great review. Which smartphone are you using in this video?
Thanks Florian!
It's the Oneplus 8 Pro.
bro in gt 2 can we only call and receive call from favorite contact or any other contact also
You have access to your full contacts list.
@@TechMishka I have gt 2 but if I am calling to non favourite number from my mobile it's not showing in my watch call log bcoz of that I can't make call through my watch is it in my watch or gt 2 watch function is working like this only?
@@himanshusharma1005 Sounds like a permission not granted for access to the contacts - check that. Or could be a bug with the app.
youve listed it as bluetooth 5.0 i think its bluetooth 4.2 3:58
Hmm, I remember having taken this info from the chipset's specs.
Does it support Spotify or any music app? If so, can it download music for offline use? Thanks! Great vid btw 🔥🔥🔥
Yeah, supports spotify and most similar services. No offline playback possible however.
You need to take your phone with you for a run. It's pointless
How can i change my ticwatch pro 3 weather to celcius?
You switch the language on your phone from English (USA) to English (UK)
Does it support IOS? Can I pair this with Iphone? Please suggest
Yeah, you can use it with iOS.
Check this out: www.wareable.com/android-wear/google-launches-android-wear-for-ios-1603
Great review!💯💯 Thanks, and I'll take the watch when you're done with it!😜😜
Sounds like a plan!
Is 15 seconds the maximum "time out" for showing the watchface on the amoled display?? 🤔
Seems to be at the moment. Then it switches to either the Always-ON edition of the watchface chosen, or goes into the power-saving screen mode.
I've downloaded digital striker watch face. It looks good but also allows up to 60 seconds on screen time before time out
Does this measure ECG?
no ECG support, unfortunately.
Nice review - I am looking forward to this watch going on Sale :) well - maybe - I've had previous versions of Tic Watch, Tic Watch Pro , but it was fairly unusable so had to return it - but have always wanted the TicWatch with WearOS - and this might just be the one!
In fact I also have returned some Ticwatches in my life - the TicWatch Pro and the E2.
Hopefully Amazon Prime Day will offer some good discounts.
Does it have magnetic sensor for GPS ?!!!
Haven't heard of such a thinng.
hi. nobody talks about the kind of glass the display has... which one is it, "normal" glass, Gorilla Glass DX (Samsung Watch 3), Sapphire Glass (which I doubt)...??? It's kind of important, besides all the features you praised in this video, don't you think...? Since it's the first thing which is going to be scratched on a watch... Looking forward to any answers, thnx.
The glass isn't marked as Gorilla, and it is not sapphire.
Simple example: Huawei Watch GT 2 is not advertised as "Gorilla Glass"-certified and has regular tempered glass. 4-5 months of usage and no scratches; Galaxy Watch 2 Active - the fancy Gorilla coverage - and I got a scratch for less than a week;
The Ticwatch Pro 3 likely has tempered glass coverage which has similar to the Gorilla Glass qualities.
@@TechMishka Thanks!
When was it released?
24th September, 2020.
@@kushagragrey Thanks!
Is it hard to make watches LTE with there own sim card link to your phone? I'm confused on why samsung and apple are really the only ones with watches that work without your phone.
I have a google pixel 4 so if you know of any other watches that are compatible with this phone and is lte please enlighten me.
Guess it is too much hassle around certification and bands supported.
love my ticwatch pro but I have to say I am tempted to upgrade
It is indeed a serious upgrade. The older Pro still rocks though 😎
Good old T9 keyboard would fit these watches perfect
Yeaaaah! 😎👍
When you get a notification do you get a dot on the home screen to tell you that you have notifications?
Yes, you will see a dot to indicate notifications.
Does the watch support offline music?
Yes, it has a lot of internal and you can copy music there.
@@TechMishka offline Spotify?
@@scott8238 No - because Spotify doesn't support that for WearOS
Nice review!
Glad you enjoyed it
Do a comparison video about Huawei GT2 pro, Honor GS pro and Ticwatch pro 3

Fantastic review and get rithm good little Humor. Well done worth subscribing looking forward for what's next
Welcome aboard!
I have the active 2 samsung and I had the c2 ticwatch loved the style and how good i felt on my wrist the active is really light compare to the c2 but I loved the c2 im really not liking my active 2 should I go back to ticwatch
That's up to you. Both watches are quite good smartwatches.
@@TechMishka which Is Better? Google assistant or Bixby?
Will it work with the P40 Pro?
Yes - all it needs is bluetooth connection.
@@TechMishka Don't fool yourself - wear OS needs Google Services to work.
Great overview! Just bought it but worried it might be too big for my wrist. What wrist size are you so I can get a sense of proportion. Thanks and keep up the great work!
Thanks Tim. Based on previous experience - I believe Ticwatch have a good return service, so if you don't like it - you can always send it back.
Hi, can alexa be installed on it?
Haven't tried that yet.
The only major negative I see is the poor water resistance rating... It's fine in the tub, or getting caught out in the rain or the shower... But not really intended to swimming in deeper water or anything like that...
True that!
It's still looking like the best watch of 2021
Yeah. Might get even better soon enough.
Great review cover what I want to know this product thanks Mike
Glad it was helpful!, Aek
Excellente review. Unfortunately I could not see anything about Sun/Moon rise/set and Tide times (if any). That would be great for fishermen but those reviews always focus on hearth/fitness/sleep and things like that
There definitely are bunch of apps that will let you monitor this.
Great review.
Did you try to use spotify offline? That's the only feature to complete the wishlist (:
Previously they only allowed Google music to download to a wearos watch. I've just checked for RUclips music app on wearos store(Google music is discontinuing) but there isn't one. It looks like for now you have to have a Samsung watch to download Spotify music to your watch. It's really poor from google
@@A1000R thanks Andrew, that's really unfortunate. After so many years wear os still has this issue with spotify
You have enough space to store some music of your choice. True - not exactly spotify, but is a good option.
@@TechMishka do you mean playing an mp3(or other music file format)? what app do I download to get this magic to work. I have some music from years ago I could dig out that's still golden. I just didn't use it since Spotify
@@TechMishka does ifttt work at least?
Any detailed accuracy review for HR, cadence, pace, speed measurement during running/walk exercise? Some brands only beautiful, but useless... as they are not perform well measuring those basics information..
Haven't seen a watch with GPS in the past years that shows inaccurate data when running. This one is fine; I mnostly tested with a bike - and is good.
Hello, Michael. I like your great review. I see you got your TicWatch's TN screen to display time in 24 hour mode. Is it possible to have it display the date in a European format? It would be a 'game breaker' for me if it cannot.
Oops! Sorry about misspelling your name, which I discovered after clicking on the #tech4all link.
Hey, no problem about the name - it's easier to use Michael, that's why I present myself with that one.
As for the display date - currently no way to change it, but if you file a request with Ticwatch support, they may implement that via firmware update.
@@TechMishka Hi. I have now found a mobvoi forum page for " TicWatch Pro 3 Software Improvements " and the date format has already been requested. The page is at

Sounds perfect. I'd also like to know if it supports Spotify and offline as well.
Spotify have recently stated that it's close to impossible to enable offline mode on WearOS. Right now only online is available.
@@TechMishka what about youtube music?
Hello! Thanks for the video, it's very informative 😊 how does this compare to the ticwatch c2+? I'm new to the smart watch world and I use a google pixel 3 XL so I like that these keep within the same ecosystem
Yeah, makes sense!
The C2+ has in my opinion nicer design and looks more stylish. Doesn't have a speaker and is not so advanced about fitness tracking. But is a great one too.
can i answer a call or take a call ,wrote on msenger ?
Yeah, each one of these functions is supported.
