Ticwatch doesn't have a rotating bezel but you can use wrist motions to scroll through screens, it's particularly useful if for some reason you can't use both hands.
Qualcomm wear 4100 processor plus google assistant on TicWatch for the win!
Press the date when swiping right the agenda will pop up on the TW.
I even got a pic of an Amazon package on our porch on this screen. That surprised me.

I’ve never been a fan of the Galaxy watches base look, but the bezel kit makes them look amazing.
How long both watch charge from 0 - 100%?
I am towards to ticwatch as my last ticwatch 2 last me around almost 3years.
Down side is it doesn't have any rotating bezel or touch navigation on side like tw2 to navigate the menu and wireless charging.

The 2 nit picky things that keep me from buying a GW4 is the absence of Google assistant and that they went with a 20mm watch band width on all sizes of the watch. Between having a Garmin Vivoactive 4 45mm and previously owning a GW3, I have a LOT of 22mm bands already. Again, I'm nit picking, but it is what it is. What draws me back to the GW4 is that I'm a S21 Ultra owner so I would get the additional health metrics.
I had... or I should say... I "still" have the Watch 4 Classic, technically, still paying for it because I used a payment plan... a few weeks ago, Samsung put out a firmware update that ended up "bricking" my watch (just Google it... it was a global issue). It was sent to Samsung, and they still have it. Meanwhile, I was trying to go back to wearing regular watches (I still have my Casio G-Shocks from long before I started wearing smartwatches), and I just couldn't do it. I've been wearing smartwatches since Samsung's early models (I can't remember the model names at the moment, it's been sooooo long). Last week, I caved and ended up buying the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra and I'm actually REALLY liking it! The battery life is amazing! Even though I don't normally wear my smartwatch to bed... It can easily last 2... maybe 3 days. When I dock it at night, before going to bed... it's still around 70%! I also absolutely HATED that the Watch 4 would interrupt my workouts at 30 and 60 minutes into my sessions (I'm assuming it would interrupt again at 90 minutes, but I usually don't work out that long)... I drives me nuts because sometimes it's right in the middle of a heavy bench press set or squatting 😡. I'm not sure what I'm going to do when I eventually get my Watch 4 Classic back... I will, for sure, keep the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra... but I may end up selling the W4C.
Oh, and I should add after years of being a loyal Samsung customer... I think I'm done with Samsung. It's not just because of this incident, but when I bought the S22 Ultra using their trade-in program, it was a total disaster. Our Samsung fridge had a major issue after only 4 years, and the part was near impossible to find (but luckily after some effort, we found the part and fixed it ourselves).
I bought the galaxy watch 4 and I kinda regret it I should've gone with the ticwatch pro 3... To me battery life and google suit are vital. Well my galaxy watch has a 1 and a half day battery lifetime, and no google translate or Google assistant, I get Bixby which is ridiculously useless... Ticwatch pro 3 has google assistant, love the second screen and google suit
I agree! The Ticwatch is a superior option. I'm glad I chose it over the Samsung.

Galaxy Watch 4 for the Win!!! I have to wonder how much the Dual Layer/LCD Screen *really* affects battery life - if we had a Galaxy Watch rocking a 571ma battery like the TicWatch I dare say it’d last a few days as well! I have the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic 46mm and tho I charge it everyday (out of habit mostly) a few weekends back I was feeling under the weather and forgot to charge it and on Sunday morning had like 7% battery left! This is starting with 100% Friday morning around 7:00am, and I admit I didnt work out or anything all weekend as I basically laid around and slept a lot, but still I had never had a Wear OS watch last so long, and thats a 361ma battery (I think). So yeah, put a 571ma Batteery in the GW4 and I bet itd give the TicWatch a run for the title even without the dual layer LCD! In any cased, both beautiful, amazing watches *but* Mobvoi has got to put a freaking rotating crown in their next TicWatch as they are the ONLY brand not to have some alt nav option! For now the GW IMO is unbeatable, and a pleasure to use, wear and look at! :-) Great review!!!

Will the tick watch vibration wake you up? My Samsung did.
I left Tic for the Watch 4, mostly because of the wear os integration. Truly, the battery life isn't that far apart unless your one of these people that constantly kibitz around with the watch all day and tax the screen use. I take it off the juice at around 5 a. m. And use it all day. It goes back on for bed and I usually don't get below 52% battery life. My Tic was a 4glte and could squeeze out a second full day most of the time. The other thing that made me switch was the charging capabilities of the watch 4. No longer needing a specific charger. I bought one that houses two phones, the watch and earbuds and it does a handsome job. I liked Tic but being a Note customer, this only made sense at this point. The bezel and watch body customization you can do to the Watch 4 is also a huge plus plus. Kudos, nice review.

I also switched to the GW4 classic from TWP3, I was using the lg v60 when I purchased the TWP3. but when I bought the galaxy fold 3 I had to get the Sammy watch to accompany it. The integration is obviously much much better when both devices are made by the same company... Overall I like the galaxy watch better. But the TWP3 is still an excellent option especially if you aren't using a Samsung phone.
@@drewp25831 Oh will agree, having owned an LG V series phone. I moved to that when they first came out, largely because, at the time Samsung came out with the Note 5 with no SD card. I also had the first Tic and then The later. Once LG resolves the poor battery issues with the V series, it was an excellent device.
@@TheBeagle58 the v60 had some of the best battery life of any phone ive ever owned... 5000 mah it could go 2 days... especially if not using the dual screen case, but thats what made tht phone so cool.. I liked it a lot. Its still not a fold tho. The fold 3 is the coolest phone/tablet device ive ive ever held. I really like it.

You should have activated Bixby even if for this review purpose exclusively. Would have been interesting to see Bixby answer the same questions you asked assistant just so we have an opportunity to see it for ourselves. You can always deactivate it later. Anyway!!

How is the haptics on the TicWatch Ultra? I have the original TicWatch Pro 3 and to be frank, they suck. Even when I sit and LOOK at the watch and receive a notification, I can BARELY feel the vibration function. That isn't the case with Samsung, I have the GW3 and the GW4 and both have excellent haptics. I'm curious if Mobvoi corrected this issue...can you help?

The TicWatch Pro 3 has, without-a-doubt the most anemic haptic feedback of any smart watch I have ever owned (and I've had roughly 12 over the last 7 years). It is clearly the only major drawback in my opinion to the watch...that and downloading music to listen to later is kind of a joke on current Wear OS watches, and Samsung makes it a breeze.
I think you are making it to be way worse than it actually is. I always felt the TW3 vibrating with an alert...could it be batter...YES...is the GW4 much stronger...YES...but it's def not a deal breaker and besides that, it also has a notification chime, so there's that too
Actually, no I'm not. If yours works decently, then I suspect my particular model probably has a poorly functioning haptic unit. But I am not alone however, I've met 2 other people (in person, not just online) who have similar experiences, but to be fair, even their watches seem to have stronger haptics than mine. In every other way my Pro 3 is great. Until I got my GW4, it was hands down the best Wear OS experience I had ever had (actually, the ONLY good experience with Wear OS I had ever had).

How come Samsung internet is available to download on the Play Store on the ticwatch but when you try to open it it just kicks you back out to your apps

I can't get past those 2 knobs on the tic. I can see my hand accidentally pushing the button when I bend my wrist. As far as the turning dial on the Samsung, I wonder I'd dirt or sand gets in there and makes it tough to turn
I have the ticwatch pro 2020 the previous model, which is very similar and I never pushed the buttons when bending the wrist, and I make sports with it. So that isn't a problem.

I would get the ticwatch if it was on discount. Right now the tiwatch runs for 300euro while the galaxy for 325euro on amazon.
There is even a small discount now on the Samsung
The lack of Google assistant is nearly a deal breaker for me... the build quality of the tw3 is a letdown

@@TheJabberTech Suggest turning off Wifi... it can be a huge battery drain when the watch is not connected to the phone; hence i turn my phone off each nite.
With the Ticwatch pro 3 ultra the Google assistant won't make calls or texts with a Samsung s21 ultra...

Do not buy from Mobvoi they have no repair mechanism in place these are too expensive to be throw away products but if they can't fix it if there is an issue then it is disposable.
I'm not sure you ever owned a TicWatch 3 pro ultra.. if your asking, buy the Galaxy watch 4, it works... TicWatch..don't do it , they have no where the app integration how could they.. a dollar 45 days battery.. you can now stretch the watch 4 to 45 days and it still not as ugly as the TicWatch.. and support forget it, tell them you want to send it back.. they will give you 30 % off just to keep it..xx
