5:10 since the latest update you can now change the date layout through the "essential mode" app, which allows you to configure some other things like the enabling the backlight-on-tilt feature, but I assume you'd still want to turn off the always-on and tilt-to-wake options otherwise you'll just get the OLED screen when tilting regardless of your choice.
A few people have pointed out that you can upload your runs to Strava, so to clear things up it look like third party apps you can sync with are Google Fit, Strava, Runkeeper and Apple Health, this is setup under your profile. I'm not sure if this is part of an update or something I missed in my initial review, having spoken to the guy from Mobvoi after publishing my review he did say they were working on several improvements to the app. You still can not export the files for later upload however.

(for example :make a call or send a message)? 4)can you link to a WiFi if your smarphone is not near? 5)can you swim to the sea without breaking it(not dive, simply swim) Please you would help me a lot of you can answer that. You need to go with apps in Google play and try them and Google map as well I want see if is it running faster or has any trouble specially 1 GB Ram not enough to run android system

Not sure where they say that, but I've done it several times and it seems fine. Only issue I had is the water tends to operate the screen so ended up starting a few activities, but that might be watch face dependant.
Not had a whole lot of experience with the Galaxy line but I really like the interface, check you can get all the apps you want and what features are supported. I think I would give the Galaxy a go.
Some samsung features will only be available on samsung phones and will not be available on our oneplus devices. Such a bummer that you cant fully utilize galaxy watch features on other android phones. Sigh

Thanks. Not used the GT2 Pro sorry, but I think that is a different operating system so before you go for it make sure you can get all the apps on it you want.

No native run coaching on the watch as yet but I know they are looking at it. As for music there is no simple way of adding music directly to the watch right now.
I haven't been able to take any calls on it as you can only do this on android and I use an iPhone, but based on the voice memos I recorded I think it would work fine. The speaker is plenty loud enough and the mic seems to pick up your voice even at arms length. I believe it does in the same was as you can search with voice etc. Hope that helps.

I would say it is more smart watch than running watch, so if you like the look of it then it has fashion covered. Also you have more choice when it comes to watch faces than your average running watch. Function all depends on how serious you want to get, I would always pick a dedicated running watch over this if you run a lot.
Thanks Chris for a no bullshit review. Most appreciated. Unlike you crazy buggers that run over 400m at a time... I do sprints. I have yet to find a smart watch that stays on in a fashion that means I can start and stop the darn thing quickly. I need the stop watch to stay on so while I am running the exhaustively long 50 meters I can raise my arm and tap the screen to start and stop the watch. (If its longest on time Time is 15 secs... and you have to turn your wrist to get back to the stopwatch... then its just too slow, by the time you lift your arm at speed... wait for the watch to “wake-up” and tap it... you’ve missed your finish line.) Have you found a good wrist watch that works well as a stop watch for a sprinter? Thanks
Hi Peter, it sounds to me like you need a "Proper" running watch i.e. Garmin, Coros, Polar etc. Smart watches are great all rounders but you can't beat the physical buttons and true always on screens of dedicated running watches. I have a couple of videos on the Channel you could check out one on the Garmin 245 and one on the Coros Pace 2, both would solve your problem I think. Let me know how you get on.
I spend a lot of time in the forests with no roads and without satellite images I would be lost. My Casio pro trek did it but it died after only 6 months and I want something else now
Why does nobody ever talk about the way the notification works. Can you use voice message on whatsapp? Do you see all the emoji? Does it recognize foreign languages like arabic or will you see only ???? Like on the cheap watches. And how is google maps working? Do you need to use the watch only or can you get the notification when opening maps on your phone? Most reviewers like to talk about the fitness part but not the "business" part.
I do cover notifications in the video, but it’s impossible to cover every feature in the sort of detail you are talking about. All my watch reviews are geared towards running and this is no different. Unfortunately you can’t expect a review to cover every specific thing you personally wish to know. Sometimes you have to bite the bullet and try it yourself.

I'm not sure if I missed this or its part of an update, I was talking to the guy from Mobvoi and he said they were working on some additions to the app. Still no option to export the file for later upload though.
It is a fraud. The oxygen and heart sensors stopped working just after two weeks I bought the Ticwath PRO 3 GPS. I contacted the Mobvoi support team and the answer was that wetting the watch wasn´t covered by the warranty and they only offered me a 30% discount on another product. This is clearly a scam or fraud.
That doesn't sound right, it states on the box that it is swim proof, I have showered in mine several times and still works fine. I would expect them to offer replacement or refund.
About Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3, the company is from China, where are the data they collected will send to??? Since China Communist government are required any individual or corporate entity to cooperate with the China government to help intelligence gathering, what are they going to do with the bio metric data collect with the smartwatch????

You are welcome, not sure if Spotify have some sort of deal with other brands which stops them adding offline but either way its frustrating!

Ah, I hadn’t spotted that I’ll have to have a look. The backlight will always be a choice one way or the other I guess.

Vibration is ok. You get emoji but not pictures gifs etc. All my testing was with it connected to iPhone and it connects fine.

I've got the watch and love it. But there is some confusion... Mobvoi says you can swim with the watch BUT you should not shower with it on. What ???

Nope. If you are using Android, go for a pure android smartwatch i.e WearOS. Fossil 5 Gen or this Ticwatch 3 Pro GPS

You need to turn on the 24 hour monitoring in the sensor settings.
Why didn't you try ghostracer ? Has customizable screens, gpx import route follow. Offline maps , Strava sync, etc?
