I loved all the puns. :) Just yesterday I ordered the Galaxy Watch 4 classic, slightly against my better judgement since I feel the battery life is way too short (My current smartwatch is the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier and I get 3 days minimum battery life, wearing it 24/7 for 5 years now). I was wondering if maybe I'd have some regrets not going for the Ticwatch, but your review made my purchase of the GW4 feel like the better choice for me. Thanks!

Don't even get me started on AOD. AOD galaxy watch 4 classic 46mm = about 22 to 24 hours if you're lucky. Tic watch 3 pro ultra AOD = 2 days. Own both watches and have tested it.
I was considering the ticwatch when I bought my amazfit. I love the idea of a transflective screen but really the rest of the watch is kind of a letdown. I wish they had a wear OS lite that basically was like the amazfit devices just with access to wear os watch faces, google fit, etc. I really enjoy getting a week out of a watch on 1 charge.

There was a part at around the 8:28 mark where it was stated that the ticwatch was not capable making calls. I've initiated and taken plenty of calls on both of my tic watches. Apart from that, keep up the good work
Actually less. I returned the smaller version as got about 16 hrs. Then bought the bigger version. It was toooo big. Returned that one. Now waiting for the pixel as do not have hope version 5 will have the sweet spot on size and battery life.

I am not a samsung Phone user.I have a one plus 8tm would you recommend me the samsung galaxy watch 4 or should i go for a watch like fossil gen 6 but thag doesn't have LTE functionality. We haven't tested the Fossil Gen 6 yet, but if you need LTE then the Galaxy Watch 4 is a good option, we can vouch for it! Check out our videos on them. Since you don't use a Samsung phone you won't be able to measure ECG and blood pressure (not sure if those are important to you).
I have a Galaxy Watch 3, I accidentally bumped it off the tablet why mousing, and it fell on one of the buttons. After I picked it up, it was a bit scratched because I have a stone floor, but the worst part is that one of the buttons lost its tactility, which infuriated me. I’ve dropped so many devices before, but I have never heard of a button losing its tactility. I know that it’s my fault that I dropped it, but still, could there have been some sort of safeguard? Luckily the button still works, just zero tactile feedback.
Don't know what yall are talking about when you say the tic watch can't get texts or calls. Mine gets both all the time. The only problem I have is sometimes when I don't have the watch on and I answer a call from my phone, it'll sometimes pickup on the watch which can be annoying.
second display as always on, you mean essential mode? if so then it's not lying. you get days on days with essential mode on. However, this just turns your smart watch into a regular watch. mine has lasted me 3 days with no wake up gestures on and just pressing the button to wake it leaving the regular watch display on.
my experience with both watches say neither. I've checked my stats on both watches on two separate occasions right before a doctor tested me, and they were both under the actual reading, but the smartwatch readings aren't for accuracy, they're just for a general idea for where you're standing.
I've owned both and while I much MUCH prefer the tic watch 3 pro ultra, both their sensors are....eh at best. but I don't think there is a smart watch atm that can give 100% accurate readings.

It is also not compatible with many apps other than Samsung, which is totally against the freedom Android grants us and the main reason why I don't use apple. I just bought ticwatch pro 3 for under 100. Love it and I am on my second day without charging. Its easier to make a call or send messages. Also the charger stays on better than Samsung. This is important especially as a camper and my watch charges while I move around in my tent.

Personally I prefer the tic watch, unlike the samsung watch, the tic watch can be used on both android and Iphones even though it uses wear os.
I have a GW4 - I get about 18-24 hrs out of it , typically I wake up at 5AM - wear it all day, jogging, work, ... until about 9PM - and I am left at 40% left (depends sometimes it says 43% , sometimes its 10% - dont know why) - then i shutdown and charge up overnight. I use AOD on it too - which will drain. its running WearOS 3.0.

If i buy a samsung or other brand for smarth watch, can i connect those watch to my iphone 12? Ok, simple answer: change my iphone 😄 But there’s an other problem: i have all my life on my iphone (photos of me, my son, my wife etc). If i change my iphone for a samsung, can i transfer all my photos and emails (gmail) into the samsung? The samsung has the LDAC 😀😀… so before buy samsung phone and watch, i want to be sure that i can transfer all i have on my iphone, into a samsung phone. If someone can help me here, i would appreciate 😃😃😃

you can remove bloatware on tic just by diying a makeshift charger from the E3 and a few commands on cmd and poof gone...

My Samsung watch died while swimming. Samsung did not honor that failure. I have to pay to get mines repaired.

Gmail should just work. Samsung also offers a tool to switch from an iPhone. Maybe you can Google that tool? Think it's called Smart Switch
