No, it's just Glarses. Glarses does weird shit all the time. Like the time he literally held KSI hostage until KSI built his own custom keyboard. Or the time he bought a keyboard the size of his desk. Or the time he literally went and bought a printer to print custom keycaps for a keyboard with PewDiePie's face on it.

11:32 also Signature Plastics (pimpmykeyboard), that lets you do a ton of color combinations for their base PBT SA-P and DSA, with all kinds of international support. Not as many options as WASD when it comes to symbols (and no custom symbols iirc), but still really nice if you want a specific color combination that is hard to find.
I truly got Plankton vibes from the "HIGH PERFORMANCE ERGONOMICS", when their typing experience shifts into "MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE".
Built my first custom board yesterday. Thanks for all the inspiration. Built a Keychron V1 with PC plate, lubed some durock lavenders and v2 stabilizers (holee modded), SA PBT keycaps and tape modded it
Watching people with really nice setups makes me wonder what they do cause I work from home and my desk is a nightmare.

Howdy Hipyo, recently I've been on a binge of a lot of your videos and remembered in one that you said you were reviewing a board because of a user suggestion so I thought I'd leave some video suggestions(srry if youve already done them):
-an empomaker board like the th66 pro or something similar as it's quite interesting as it's so cheap. I think like under 100 dollars
-akko switches because I remember hearing in maybe a VOD or something that you haven't reviewed them. I'd be interested in the thock and just your thoughts on them as a whole

14:00 cardboard, and also the pain27, a keyboard I have built more than once with actual PCBs.... once with the frame, it lives up to the name and is a massive pain to use.

Consider doing more low profile stuff
11:40 - Even if you're a good painter the thing I don't like about spraypaint is how easily it comes off. Whether you're just using the board or cleaning it with anything besides water it's so easy to remove the paint, so you'll have to redo the whole thing in 3 months to a year anyways. People complain about screen printed abs keys, but spraypaint is like 50 times more fragile than that.
Is Hipyo aware that Mrwhosetheboss is one of the biggest tech channels in the world so of course the quality is gonna be high? Also he has stated before a video on his shorts channel can take up to 6 hours to make

Any recommendations for a traditional layout full size board with multimedia controls (or at least volume) at a reasonable price? I really struggle with adapting to different layouts for some reason.

HYEKU, which is the son branch of Kailh, has a 1.34m long keyboard. IT IS A MASS PRODUCTION MODEL. You can casually pick one up from their online store, no custom niche bullshit.

Omg yes!!!! Maisy Leigh is delightful, she + rice cloud are the only other keyboard channels I follow.
I wish keyboard YT wasn't weirdly divided into yelling, gamer keyboard videos aimed at dudes and gentle aesthetic keyboard videos aimed at women (and extremely dry keyboard videos aimed at engineers, who I assume comprise another as-yet-unknown gender), but given the choice between the two the latter is much nicer to watch.
