    Dopamine detoxing isn't easy and it's not necessary, as I stated in my first video. It is an extreme measure that produces extreme results. If you're about that, try it out, if not, then don't. Simple as that.
    Anyway, hope my experience through it all helps clear things up for you.
    Much love.

    It’s crazy how meditation, dopamine detoxing, and cold showers are cheat codes for life. I don’t know if you can relate, but back when I literally overloaded myself with dopamine with bad diet, cigarettes, porn etc, I became so desensitized to life itself. And it’s like, once you start these practices, it’s like you finally both mentally and emotionally become in tuned with life. To sound corny, I spent a majority of my life hard core gaming RPG’s and shit, only to realize just know that life is the biggest RPG I have been missing out on. I gotta be honest man. Fucking smartphones are what are taking people out of life. I still have my phone, but deleted all social except Reddit, and I hardly pick up my phone as much as I used to. I think most problems that we are facing is a direct result of being waaaaaay too stimulated.

      I'm in the same boat man. I found out I've been depressed for years, and I was only productive in the last year because of my anxiety. Because I thought if I wasn't doing something with my life, I wasn't good enough. Then I fell back into a slump for a few months, back into all of my old habits. Now all of my anxiety from the past is clearing up, and now I'm starting to bring all of my good habits back, and because I want to do it this time, not from anxiety. It's crazy how much better life is when you cut out the junk and bad energy. Keep on the grind brother.

    It's so 50/50. On one hand all this technology is absolutely stealing us away from the present at all times. But on the other hand all this information is incredible. I think the trick is purposeful use. Before you even pick up the phone or open the laptop know EXACTLY what you're going to use it for and do only that task then put it down.

    Just did it for the past 2 days. Man it’s hard. Day 2 especially. But I found my self reflecting on so many moments and coming to conclusions on problems that I’ve struggled with for the past couple years. I’m not sure if these conclusion will work yet but it’s a step. My productivity also increased 10 fold the past two days as I had nothing else to do. I think now I will allow my self to do high dopamine inducing activities at the end of each day for a short amount of time. Overall definitely a positive experience and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in being more motivated to do what you need to do.

I'd come home and eat, still would get on my phone, but after that i'd go to sleep and repeat. I think I know how you feel because I remember towards the end of the month, I felt the greatest I ever have in a long time. I was so appreciative of the little things and I LOVED human interaction. Lets just say, i have no control over the sleepiness state my body is in right now. I am so relaxed. My body is forcing me to sleep instead of me forcing it. Laying down has never felt more fulfilling. Its like im exactly where im supposed to be. And all i keep thinking about is what im going to do next to satisfy this desire to expand within myself, while at the same time being completely comfortable being in my bed. I was hot now i get to go cold to recover, just to hit life harder when i awake. Some of the content i listen too is starting to register in my mind. All i want is to continue the journey.

      @@aanghel I would say to be safe 24 hours is good, if you have everything in perfect order and good digestion, it can happen all the time with one meal a day and only about 16 hours of fasting. Having half a tablespoon or so of coconut oil will help activate the cells and flavonoids from a source of less than 50 calories will boost you into it. (Chocolate blueberries flouridless tea etc) P.S. I filter my water using a "ClearlyFiltered" water pitcher found on amazon and it changed my life around. The only thing I add is a couple of pinches of Celtic Sea Salt till it tast/ has has a milk like texture. It is nice since im vegan and milk is weak sauce. Oh and to stay alkaline I have either some apple cider vinegar, or half a lemon in water every so often and my body starts to vibrate and I taste mettals in my mouth. You get the feeling as if there is a battery on your tongue when you become charged, and doing a small work out yeilds massive gains at these times. Anyways you are one of the most inspiring and impactfull youtubers in my life. So bro I have to share something.
    I woke up at 5:30 before school to do some meditation, usually I leave the house around 7 in the morning. So this was the first time I woke up at 5:30, I usually wake up at 6. So I woke up very hungry, und directly went on to meditate for 30 minutes, sitting on my bed, leaning at the wall. It was a normal meditation, I just tried to focus on my breath and I expected nothing huge to happen. I just tried to practice concentration basically. Around the end I started to feel a tickling all over my body, which I experienced in the past, so I was used to it. But the tingling sensation became greater and greater until it was really something extraordinary to me. After roughly 10 seconds I started getting a tinnitus, it was probably the around the third one I ever experienced, the rest of them I experienced way in the past and also while I was doing sports. The tinnitus was guided by some sort of flash in my eyes, they were closed but they lightened up somehow like I got blinded. Crazy thing was after they both blurred away I started hearing my breath really loud, like I had listened to a Asmr real loudly on headphone. After that I realized that I wasn’t able to open my eyes nor move my body. I tried to get out of, i guess you could call it some sort of paralysis. After roughly 10 seconds this state slowly left me and I could move more and more until it was back to normal. I would just love to hear someone’s opinion on this, I can’t figure out what is was. Thank you for the video bro, greeting from Germany.

    • @aanghel
      @aanghel  4 года назад +1

      I believe that transcendental meditation. You basically release dmt naturally at that point in very minute amounts. Take that with a grain of salt though as it's just what I think it might be. I have no real idea tbh

      Ich höre meine eigene Stimme dann auch immer total laut und alles andere ist gedämpft, mir wird auch nicht wirklich schwarz vor Augen, sondern ich sehne kurz intensive Farben und Licht Blitze dann kommt das schwarz von den seiten rein bis ich bewusstlos werde.

      J0RGeL danke für den Einblick, kann du dir erklären wieso ich mich nicht bewegen konnte? Letzte Nacht beim einschlafen hatte ich eine ähnliche Erfahrung, nur ohne Tinnitus und Licht, sondern als ich versuchte einzuschlafen hatte es immer extrem gekribbelt im ganzen Körper. Es war wie bei der Wim-Hof Methode falls du damit was anfangen kannst. Hat sich zwar gut angefühlt doch es wurde immer stärker und hat mich dann vom schlafen letztendlich abgehalten, vier mal das ganze. Ich hatte auch Schwierigkeiten mich zubewegen, aber nicht so stark wie bei dem ersteigern Ereignis wo ich fasst schon starr war, sondern eher einen leichten widerstand. Sehr merkwürdig ._.

I remember going to Cuba with my ex and was away for 2 weeks with no technology, it really has a weird effect on your brain in a positive way, can't explain it, like you said without being corny you just feel way more present.
