This came out GORGEOUS!! I noticed, when I did my Kintsugi inspired tumbler, even the gold paint turned more like a rose gold, with the purple ink base. But, I really love this.

That is stunning! Honestly, you could have stopped at any point after you first dropped some color onto the alcohol wash, and the cup would’ve been a stunner 🤩
BEAUTIFUL I want to make these for my Acting Classes... for my students. Where do you buy your Tumblers... and How do you make or what do you use to make the lettering (Sayings). Thank YOU so much for sharing this beautiful tumbler.

I really love the tumbler and the way that you did it. I have a question after the alcohol inks dried did you seal it before adding your epoxy to the tumbler?
I rarely get lifting if I've burnished well enough you can use a thin layer of uv resin just on the decal or a coat of ccdiy quick coat but sealing vinyl with any spray product will often cause vinyl to lift or shrivel and cause bigger issues.
Like mineral spirits? I have no idea honestly, but I'd say no since they are geared towards removing things.... now if you mean spirit's like vodka maybe....
Oh, Rae! I love, love this cup!! It's gorgeous! I had t seen this technique. I'm sure it's tougher than it looks, but I sure love how you made it work!
@@RaesTurquoiseTurtle well, you sure did a beautiful job! I love your alcohol ink tumblers, but I hadn't seen anyone do this technique. I loved the results!
Tumbler making brings new meaning to the phrase, "sit and spin".
Haha in a few ways
I know this is from two years ago. But I just found your sight. I absolutely love your purple waterfall cup !

Thank you this is probably in my top 5 favorites ever!
Beautiful work.
Thank you! 💜
Oh my gosh this is stunning.
Thank you its pretty gorgeous!
Turned out really pretty!!
Thank you 💜🐢💙
I'm so tempted to do this, then put s thin layer of expzy on top, then do another layer of ink on top and see what happens.
I think with the right colors and a light enough layer as long as it was pretty translucent it would be cool!
Gorgeous!
This is very pretty!

Excellent idea (waterslides)
Thank you so much for the information.
1. Thank you for posting this video.❤️
2. Was the cup pre appoxied? Or is that on a gloss paint or flat paint.
3. Love the colors. 😁
No epoxy just alcohol poured on whatever white paint I had at the time I've used gloss ,semi and matte for these....
@@RaesTurquoiseTurtle thank you so much! ❤️
Coming back to this. Is there epoxy on the cup when you first add alcohol?
No not for this one straight onto the painted base
I really love the tumbler and the way that you did it. I have a question after the alcohol inks dried did you seal it before adding your epoxy to the tumbler?
No I never seal my inks. I just let it dry and go straight to epoxy! Thank you 💜
Beautiful 🤩 what turner are you using! I need to get one!!
This was the first use of the one I converted if you look a few videos back there's a link in the description!
Beautiful
Beautiful!❤️
💜 thanks!
What a beautiful tumbler, I love your work! Question: where did you get that pretty gold coffee decal? Thank you!
I cut it on my cricut.
Awesome job, thanks!! Could I remove the inks from the tumbler after doing epoxy?
What do you mean remove the inks? You would have to strip the cup if you had epoxy on it...
And without epoxy?
Love this so stunning thank you
Thank you! 💜
did u spray pint it white or buy the white cup ?
I spray them white
Did you epoxy the tumbler after the spray paint and before doing the inks?
No epoxy until after the ink is dry on the waterfall rain ink techniques
@@RaesTurquoiseTurtle thank you. I did one a couple of months ago and couldn’t remember. ❤️
I love watching you and learning from you!
I just did one the other day for the first time in quite awhile! 😅
@@RaesTurquoiseTurtle I love the technique. Did another yesterday and will definitely be doing more!
The heat gun actually dried the ink faster.
Yes I will do that! Sometimes I use heat on these and sometimes I dont.
What could I seal the vinyl with to keep it from lifting?
I rarely get lifting if I've burnished well enough you can use a thin layer of uv resin just on the decal or a coat of ccdiy quick coat but sealing vinyl with any spray product will often cause vinyl to lift or shrivel and cause bigger issues.
Can spirit be used in place of the alcohol?
