I just made this cup for my wife following your tutorial and it's perfect.. I have watch video tutorials for over a year and no one ever used this wipe technique. Perfect. I'll tag you in my post of it so you can see.
That's great! I'm so glad it worked for you! I actually discovered the whipe technique on accident because I didn't like how the cup was looking and started trying to swipe it off. It ended up looking awesome and I made so many cups like this afterwards. I'm so glad it worked for you! Thanks for letting me know! ❤️
I love the technique of this cup that you have it does seem like a lot of steps but the outcome is well worth it I think it’s funny that when we do cups we never know really what it’s gonna look like until the end but all those colors looks so good together I love it
I totally agree, it's a lot of steps but it was a happy accident that I discovered doing this sunset cup this way. I love the outcome of it and I think all the colors end up looking great together. Thanks for watching!!!
I was just doing some research to make my first sunset tumbler for a customer that loves my beach one, that's all glitter. And your video popped up. This is absolutely gorgeous! I am definitely using your techniques for this one!! 🥰
I have made 2 of these so far and I had a request for more. I want to do a sunrise one too. What colors would you use together for it? This technique is so cool and really gives it a lot of dimension.
I'm so glad you've enjoyed it! A sunrise one is a great idea! I would probably use blue at the top and fade it down into an orange with other colors in between. Try looking up some different sunrise colors and choosing colors from there. I think a sunrise tumbler would be beautiful and I would love to see it when it's finished!

This cup is beautiful! Did I see you put some black on the top of the cup with the purple and the pink? I tried this cup once and ended up with a hot mess... I'm going to try it again...but need to know if you added black uptop. Thank you...🙂
No I didn't add any black to the top... It may have been the purple that looked really dark. 🤷🏼♀️ Good luck with it and please don't hesitate to ask any questions!
Hi 👋 this is my 1st time watching your videos. I love this tumbler! I also make tumblers and I can’t wait to try this. I had a question though. Does design space offer this type of decal or have you only come across it in water slide form? I don’t have the ability to print water slides. Do you happen to sell them by chance?
Here is a link to Mr Nolas mica powders. It doesn't have to be the exact same colors that I used, just close. Looks like they sell their powders individually now. Back when I purchased, they came in a large pack of multiples. www.mrnolasglitter.com/collections/all/products/mica-powder-bottles
You could use black vinyl also. The waterslide is just an alternative way to do it... So if someone doesn't have a vinyl cutting machine, they could just print it with a printer. 😊
@@KristisCustomCreations ok great ty it’s beautiful I’ll try that one soon! Just watched your eyeliner video I’m getting mine done in a month so that was cool to watch and I know what to expect! Thanks so much they looked great!
@@A_New_View Thanks!!!!! I will be getting my touch-up for my eyeliner done on the 26th and I can't wait! I'm really glad you found my video helpful! Please feel free to ask any questions!
I'll have to go on Mr nola's site to find them. I forgot to link them down in the description box. I'll be able to look here in a couple of hours and I'll let you know what the links are to them. 🥰

Thank you so much! 🥰
This is beautiful. How do you keep the inside clean? I end up with a lot of epoxy inside.
Beauiful cup!! What are water slides? I have a cricut where i use vinyls that seem so much easier.
Absolutely beautiful!! Love it!!

Yes, you can 😊
Beautiful! I love that font. Do you recall the name and where you got it from?
I just want to know if you make and sell them and if so where is your site so I can buy one ?
I don't usually take orders anymore because I mainly try to focus on making tutorials to teach other crafters.
@@KristisCustomCreations ok ..just thought I would ask ..also I love your videos thank u for teach us how too do it

Beautiful tumbler 💕 I love the way you explain everything 🥰
Where did you find the image for the waterslide?
Thank you so much! It was a partial image that I found on Google a few years ago and I added the palm tree to it
Question....when you mixed the shimmer powder with the epoxy, was it epoxy that was already mixed with both parts?
Yes, you fully mixed the epoxy before you add the powder.
What water slide did you use? Did you seal it?
I used Blinggasm clear inkjet waterslide and yes, I sealed it
When you put on the epoxy mixed with mica was the cup dry or wet with epoxy? Its a beautiful combo!
Thank you! The cup is wet with epoxy whenever you put the epoxy mixed with Mica on it. 😊
I can’t find the colors of the micas on Mr. Nolas website. Are these color changing micas? Or just one color?

How long do you let the alcohol ink dry?
Why did you use water slides as opposed to cutting that out on black vinyl?
You could use black vinyl also. The waterslide is just an alternative way to do it... So if someone doesn't have a vinyl cutting machine, they could just print it with a printer. 😊
Can you please tell me the color alcohol inks you used?? And the mica powder? I heard the name but couldn’t write it down fast😒 Thanks
Sorry about all of the questions but could you give the dimensions of your palm tree water slide you used please?
No worries! The measurements for the waterslide are 2.5" tall x 2.5" wide :)
