  • Thank you so much for checking out this video! This is my tutorial for how to make a tropical sunset silhouette tumbler with alcohol inks and no blending skills! *The cup was spray painted prior to adding alcohol inks with Rustoleum matte white spray paint and left to fully dry* This tutorial is a great beginner design and helps you get comfortable playing with alcohol inks. I use alcohol inks, some black adhesive-vinyl, and that's it! This design has a ton of different styles and color options available! I hope you love it!!! (Btw....if you vaguely hear roosters crowing in the background you're not crazy. My rooster, Ray, was being very vocal.)

    Stunning is an understatement! Question- could you use acrylic black paint in place of the black alcohol ink? I can’t seem to find black alcohol ink anywhere near me

    • @DomesticGoddessDesigns
      @DomesticGoddessDesigns  Год назад

      Yes you could I would think. It just needs to match the black on your vinyl. You could even tape around the bottom with painters tape and use plastic wrap to cover your cup and spray paint the bottom black if you wanted to.

    This is so gorgeous, and im a huge glitter beach cup girl! I def want to try this all inkstyle but i so wonder how itd look with similar color glitters under, then epoxy and then do these same inks?! Would that work? 🤔

  • @KimWithSaltyLiving
    @KimWithSaltyLiving 5 месяцев назад

    I love this so much but I do have a question. It's been so long so I'm thinking it won't get answered, but I love glitter too, how could I incorporate glitter with the inks? I'm pretty new but I have everything you have here, plus lots of glitters. Lol. Thank you!

    • @DomesticGoddessDesigns
      @DomesticGoddessDesigns  Год назад +1

      I think on that one I did use the Sapphire Blue more, pink, yellow, and it looks like a little bit of red. Just be careful doing too much dark colors. It'll end up very dark.
