I did this as the 2nd tumbler I ever made, and it is my hubby's favorite one to date! He uses it every week for his coffee while on his work meeting calls!
Gorgeous as always, I love your videos. I haven't tried making cups yet but I really want to soon. Just learning as much as I can before I try it out 💖💖😊💖💖
So excited to try this! I have 2 coffee cups for my mom and aunt I bought to do this design with. Im glad I seen your video before I did I thought I would need heat with the white
I made 2 of these for Christmas presents last year, (they were a BIG HIT). I got a few helpful tips from your video , (no heat after ink) so now I need to make myself one LOL. TFS xo Melissa
this made me think of you rocking your green apron, khaki pants, and green converse when you were a barista-I remember you made me want to work at starbucks sooo bad 😂 this cup is SO CUTE, you killed it aunt Jessie ✨
Do you think spinning the tumbler at a slower pace will give you better movement? I have a tendency to spin my cups a little 'fast' but I wasn't sure if the slower spin would cause drips. LOVE this one that you did. Makes me want to have another cup of coffee.
Happy and Healthy New Year to you and yours Jessica. Another beautiful cup thanks for sharing. I see oceans and a beautiful sky using this technique. 😊
Yours Turned out wonderful! The green lettering and white reminds me of mint. I went MINT COFFEE? Ummm yuck...in my head but love the color combo and offsets! I loved the Purple Stitch. She has great content and lots of neat ideas. 💋💋
I'm having a really hard time spray painting my tumbler. It seems no matter how many times I try I get runs. If it has runs will it completely ruin my tumbler? I have sanded and done over but runs everytime lol I'm cursed I guess. Does it have to be perfect ? Didn't know if it would be seen under epoxy. Newbie here trying to learn :) Your cups are beautiful!
You want to do short bursts at a little distance. If you're getting drips, don't try to get full coverage in 1 coat. It is getting too wet and dripping. Do a thin coat and let dry for a few minutes then go back for another thin coat. Keep doing thin coats and dry in between until you get full coverage and no drips.
Hi! Love all your videos! Couldn't wait to try alcohol inks on a tumbler. Question, So i tried this technique and have issues.... help! I coated the cup with resin and used alcohol inks, came out great - let it cure overnight.. Applied decals, then went to add the next coat of resin and it separated badly during curing. It barely adhered to the cup? why? Same resin, same room temp. Cup was clean and covered the whole time. How can i fix it? Thanks so much if you have the time to answer or help. ♥
@@FlynnSistersBoutique Sorry, the resin separated and barely covered the tumbler. The decal didnt effect the resin, it was like the resin didn't adhere to the previous coat. I used the same resin product, same room temp.
So beautiful!! I just gave it a try and might have to strip it 🙈 I think I might have used too little epoxy because my white had no movement. I also used the Tim holtz white so not sure if this one is heavier 🤷🏻♀️ thanks so much for your amazing tutorial!!
I looked in your description and clicked on the links and I didn’t find one for the maroon pads and the stuff you scrubbed on the cup after you sanded, could you tell me where to get those? Beautiful cup by the way!!
@@FlynnSistersBoutique thank you!! And no problem!! I’ve subscribed to your channel and I’ll receive all notifications, I’m just starting out so I’m trying to learn EVERYTHING
Thank you Jessica!!! I love how your swirls came out! I had to strip my last cup because I added too much white and the swirls weren’t distinct. Going to have another go at it 💕

I loved the cells that were happening, lol the weird spots as you called them. Beautiful work btw.

Can we use acrylic paint when you do a tumbler?
Yes
this made me think of you rocking your green apron, khaki pants, and green converse when you were a barista-I remember you made me want to work at starbucks sooo bad 😂 this cup is SO CUTE, you killed it aunt Jessie ✨
Your comment made me cry! Thank you so much sweetheart! I have such great memories of those days. Love you so much! ❤️
Yasss Gurl! you have inspired me with several of these videos!! I love this tumbler !
Thank you ☺️
I was so hoping you were going to give your spin on this! Thank you for all your great videos!
Thank you so much ☺️
Do you think spinning the tumbler at a slower pace will give you better movement? I have a tendency to spin my cups a little 'fast' but I wasn't sure if the slower spin would cause drips. LOVE this one that you did. Makes me want to have another cup of coffee.
Thank you! Give it a try and see if you like the look. A slower speed won't cause drips.
@@FlynnSistersBoutique Awesome. Thank you. I'll give it a try. I'm always worried about the epoxy falling off the cup if I spin too slow. :-)
Very nice...I was looking for the link to the paste that you used at the very beginning to clean your tumbler.
Find it at diyepoxy.com thanks
Should this work with the Tim Holtz white mixative?
I love this cup!! I'm going to try one today! Thank you so very much for all the help you give!!!

Thank you for watching Teanini!
I tried this twice last fall and it was a total fail. Now I know why. Thanks for the tips. Maybe I try again.
Turned out amazing. Really looks like coffee swirling in my cup.
Thank you ☺️
Another great tutorial. Thank you! You always make beautiful tumblers. I have yet to see one of yours I don’t like. 💕

😍😍😍 I can already tell I'm going to have a hard time trusting the process on this one 🤣 But I can't wait to try it! It looks so fun
I definitely did lol 😆 thank you for watching
Awesome tutorial as usual. This is a beautiful cup!
Love..Love your music..Question: can you use a cheap cup for practice?? Love the tutorial..Thanks for sharing..
Thank you 😊 yes I’d recommend using a cheap cup to practice!
Your videos are AMAZING. I just have one question. Approximately how long do you let the epoxy sit before you start applying the inks? Thank you
You dont let it sit. You want the epoxy to still be moving to helps the inks move around the tumbler.
Love, love, love it! You really prove you need to trust the process...I need to try to be more patient 😉 😊
Thank you
Thank you for this amazing tutorial! This is how I did mine!

Marielena, were you able to get the right look with the Tim Holtz? Mine didn't work...maybe because I used heat though???
Hi there, does it have to be pinata white
That's what i use but you can give another white a try.
