Lee Evans is a British treasure, you’ll never find anyone who can honestly say a bad thing about him. He’s Hilarious and such a lovely guy , Lee is a great ambassador for Britain, we are all so proud of him. Wonderful man 👍❤️🇺🇸🇬🇧
@@Shrasha I'm not British but I agree! He's my favourite comedian by far. I nearly had the opportunity to see him once before he retired when I went to Ireland but it didn't happen sadly. "Lee Evans coming out of retirement for comeback tour" is the headline I'm hoping becomes a reality.
He is an absolute national treasure. One of our best ever exports. Such a crying shame he retired (due to his long time manager passing away. He was crushed and wanting to spend time with his family) You HAVE to react to more. Especially from his BIG and XL tours.
Lee Evans is phenomenal. Was a fantastic actor too. Had roles in Theres something about mary, The medallion (with jackie chan) & Mouse hunt, even had a small role in fifth element. Lee Evans is nothing short of a comedic genius.
This guy is THE comedian, he brought comedy to a new level and first one to do arena/stadiums tours, now they all try to reach his level, Mr Evans I salute you sir.
@@Rasperdan tbf alot of comedians don't want to play those stadium gigs, its way to big for comedians, the reason why its ok for Lee Evans is because he takes up the full stage , he is one of the funnest comedians in the world but someone just standing there with a mic wouldn't be good in a stadium.
@@craigmcgougan I think that's more comedians saying that because they are not confident they can fill the Arena. I think its more to do with how famous they are. @@Rasperdan there is loads of comedians in the UK that can fill a stadium but chose not to , the staduims have been begging comedians to preform in them for years but they think it would ruin the atmosphere for a comedy show.
He is constant for over 2 hours live. I've seen him twice and it was incredible. He's as straight laced and down to earth guy you could ever imagine. Never touched drugs. Full of so much energy. He broke all live records in this country.
I have been lucky enough to watch Lee Evans live. He is a whirlwind of sweat! And a nice guy as well. Shook everyone's hands in the front row. Slightly damp feeling though!
Got tickets to see Lee perform in Liverpool about 10 years ago, can honestly say I don't think I could watch him live again. Took about 3 days for my face and stomach to recover from laughing so hard, had a full set of abs by the encore!
One of the greatest moments Lee did, in my opinion was his "Lee Evans Colonoscopy" routine. HOLY HELL, that one had me on the floor. You guys have GOT to react to that! XD
I have been lucky enough to meet Lee, he lives local and seen out and about normally on his morning or afternoon jog, great funny guy. Great reaction lads, glad you enjoy his works.

Unfortunately for us all he retired a few years ago after his road manager who he had used since he first stated died and he never felt like he would be able to do it without him being a part of it. Just be glad we all got the years we did with him and have clips galore to watch
His energy came from his stage fright. He sweat profusely and moved quickly out of sheer panic, but that was what made his work so amazing. One of the few comedians never to be heckled.
Lee Evans is a fantastic stand up and he's also done some acting. Probably his biggest role was in 'Mouse Hunt' but he also had roles in 'There's Something About Mary' and 'The 5th Element'. He's also a pretty good straight actor and starred in a moving drama called 'Mr Polly'.
Fun Fact: In the 90s to early 2000s, Lee was heading towards a Hollywood career but he eventually turned that lifestyle down for a more relaxed one in the UK to be with his family.
Welcome to one hell of a rabbit hole called Lee Evans 😂 he did huge arenas for a reason 😂 so many people wanted to watch him coz if he’d done more smaller venues he’d end up a puddle on the floor! 😂 you must watch the car needing a push start 😂 you will piss yourselves 👍🏼
Lee's autobiography is amazing. He was a good boxer too. He said he always came 3rd if there was a ref lol. Think he only wears suits a few times, and then they fall apart due to the sweat. I saw him live and was aching the next day
I'm always surprised that most Americans don't know him. He's even been in a few big movies, for instance, the fifth element, there's something about Mary, the medallion with Jackie Chan , just to name a few. I don't know if he still holds the record for a comedian but that was held in the O2 arena in London, the biggest audience for a comedian.
I think he's more of a "the more you watch him the more you love him" type comedy coz he grows on you so much more when u watch all of his stuff. I've seen him 4 times including his last ever stand up show where he got a huge standing ovation for what seemed like forever
Lee Evans is a legend he never fails to make me laugh. He honestly is one of the most funniest, enthusiastic, energetic comedians to have ever graced this world.
I got to see Lee Evans during his Road Runner tour (though not likely this recording) and one bit he did that didn't make the DVD was talking about how songbirds always sound joyous and says "You never hear any tone deaf birds, do you? Oh no, wait. Cheryl Cole!" who, for our American buddies here, was a member of the pop group Girls Aloud I've also seen clips where you can almost see the sweat evaporating off of him, that's the energy this guy has

Saw Lee doing a warm up gig in the mid 00’s with only a couple of hundred people in the crowd. Trying out his jokes from a run sheet that would then be performed in front of thousands. Such a genuine friendly nice bloke
