Man, relegating SSBE to a Blast 1 kills me. I really wanted to make that form one of my mains, and we're stuck using it for a few seconds with 3 skill stocks? That sucks. Plus the model doesn't look quite right... Maybe it'll look better on release, but putting the form on the cover when you can't really use it is some nasty work.
Still, thanks for posting the gameplay! Appreciate it.

At this point, I’m ok with SSBE not being a character, but they should give him the correct model (spiky hair, buff body, veiny forehead). They should also give Rage Trunks the correct hair and name him correctly instead of just “SSJ”.
It was depicted differently in the manga so it seems. They may have chosen to use that representation but SSBE should have been a full transformation as it is one!! Kaioken blue is another story. That’s a boost Goku uses but oh well at least SSBE is here
@@mattmanley7118 Makes no sense to use the manga version when the cover has the anime one. Furthermore, the story mode follows the anime version (as shown in the retro of the cover).

@@dizzyb2309 L argument. SSJBE atleast has more visual differences between it and SSJB compared to the unexistent ones present between SSJ1 and SSJ2. Also, SSJ Rage is the official name it was given to Trunks exclusive form in many games and external media. Not to mention is not clearly his ordinary SSJ form and the fact it has a unique design
It would be kool if they gave vegeta a super big bang attack where he fires the 1st ball charges to super saiyan then says welcome to oblivian and fires a huge 2nd that would be icing on the cake 🎂
i hate how in the anime they changed his final blast into final flash. final blast sounded way cooler to me.
i had an older set of dbz and he said final blast in them, then i sold them and bought some new ones later to find they changed that and many other lines for the worse, for no reason.
apparently they pay these voice actors to redo all of the lines multiple times, which is really annoying. of course i'll never again be able to find the version i had, which i think was the best. it's just stupid and pointless, i really don't understand the logic behind it.
I hate how these reviewers don’t just buy a ps2 / Wii / emulator and play tenkaichi 2 and 3 before they play sparking so they can actually say “hey it feels similar but xyz is different”.

i never played any of the tenkaichi games. i played some of the older dbz games before those, and they were ok. thinking i might try this one though, it looks pretty awesome. and beerus and whis (however you spell it) are my favorite characters in super.
i seen beerus pop up several times so i know he's in it, so i'm assuming whis is as well, even though i didn't notice him. he kept stopping on beerus in the select screen for some reason.
This game is phenomenal can't wait to play it in October so many combos I wanna try and Amma do all the clashes

I havent seen a video with captions but does the say anywhere in game that Vegeta gets the SSBE transformation. People are forgetting that SSBE is an anime exclusive transformation and in the manga he perfects SSB. So im just assuming the blue evo looking transformation may be perfected blue and we could get the anime SSBE Vegeta as DLC.
It has pupils here. It’s clear the anime version, but I assume it’s unfinished, as he still lacks the buffer muscles and spiky hair.
He has ssbe in the manga too. He unlocks it when he rages at goku for surpassing him once again. It’s just different looking same premise tho

@texel76 Yeah I looked it up to see. I didn't read much of the manga during super until the moro arc after the TOP ended. It's crazy some of the differences. Now that I see the rage part where he unlocks SSBE in the manga I think I understand why they have it as a temporary boost transformation.

Is the character selection gonna look like this in the end. Or is it going to look better once the game comes out fully. Because the character selection screen now looks kinda bad and not interesting for selection a fighter.
i highly doubt it but you never know. i feel like someone said nano or seereax or someone was told this isn't how it will look on release tho

I feel like I was pretty damn good at DBZBT3 and I really wanna know how I stack up against the average player once this game drops. I always wanted to play online back in the day but I could only verse my friends when they came over for hangs. I used to cook every single one of them every time because I played this game every day for years and it never got boring. I played on Max difficulty and would set team matches where it was just my one character vs a full stacked team of decent characters and could win constantly. I played the story mode countless times and the button layout for combat and travel just made perfect sense. I’m so curious to know if this game is going to feel the same, have the same button layout and feel familiar to its predecessor. I’m unbelievably excited and I’m going to pre order it tonight!
Watching the namek fight gives me an idea of making a what if battle with Goku and frieza fighting for exactly 5 minutes. If I can control the time and damage and life bar.
Also, they need to make the aura that's around their bodies when they charge stay around their body when they're in sparking mode.That would make the game 10 out of 10 insane an when there fight now that'll be true to the anime

in my opinion, fighting a great ape in this game seems like it would be the least fun thing possible. but I will say, playing as them or having a giant 1V1 would be sick as hell
1:14 East coast? Naah, the entire Midwest was forgotten. The east coast is relatively close to each other (vertically). Its a 9 hour drive to the Minnesota location. I cant believe they didnt put it in the mall of America.

I wonder if post-game release they'll have the full game + competitions between players! That'd be a great way to get the community together to engage. BEYOND excited for October!
i hope so but there will def be community ran tourneys at least and seeing talent appear out of thin air can be just as exciting!

You can still do that. Their base forms are separate characters just like in the originals.

Ik I never played the demo n all but I always wonder something since "kaioken" on blue goku = blue kaioken and "I'll go beyond the limit" on blue vegeta = blue evolution right? What does "true golden frieza" even do? I swear people have been avoiding that

Until the game drops I’m still gonna believe the manga theory. They clearly can use manga material so it very well could be that we have manga SSBE as the boost skill and anime SSBE as it’s own character. Even XENOVERSE was able to give SSBE its own character so there’s no chance in hell he doesn’t get a character no matter how much people doom post about the game
In that case we should be getting manga exclusive characters like Moro, Merus, Black Freeza, Ultra Ego Vegeta, etc. But that doesn't seem to be the case. I think they just wanted to save a slot, but tbh I'd prefer SSBE as a separate form. Oh well, still hyped af.

Sense moves from the manga are allowed as well in this game it’s most likely just the perfected version of blue the guys used in the post Goku black arcs and is a skill for vegeta sense goku has kaioken
Maybe when you change blue Gokus outfit sometimes he may have something similar instead of kaiokin

I still don't think it's done. Before he didn't have the pupils now he does but is still missing the muscle mass and the bluer and more Frizzell out hair. They'll update that I'm sure
