challenged people need not respond. 46K is less than 28K in 2005 dollars which was the original MSRP of a similar optioned Wrangler. Challenged people complain about "prices" but would cry if they had to take a 25% pay cut. Why don't you take a pay cut?
@@davidporter7051 You're neglecting to factor in demand, which is nowhere near what it was in 2005. No Jeep dealership twenty years ago held onto a new TJ for more than a few months. Dealerships today still have new 2023 Wrangler inventory lying around. Jeep was hot in 2005 and they were highly desired. That is absolutely not the case today and prices need to be adjusted to change that.
I like your idea of a base Willy’s at $30k. I’ve got a loaded up Rubicon and I’d like to keep the offroad stuff but dump all the fancy tech and luxury features. I’m ok with crank windows but need power locks.
unfortunately Jeep has missed the mark for a lot of people. love the jeep but they have priced base models out of the price range for a lot of people. that 2 door Willys should b3 price around $36,000 and it would fly off dealer lots but at $46.000 its not gonna move as fast.
If i actually could afford a car, and was getting 1 of these, this is esentially the spec id get. Updated led lights, 2 door, the new army like color. I dont know alot about jeep but they used to have a sahara like tan color thatd be sick
You pay 45k for a jeep and to top it off they don't offer the tan interior, tan top or the green rims with the 2 door model only with the 4 door Willy's 4Xe model.
It’s sad you have to be in the $150k annual income bracket to buy a new entry level 2 door wrangler sport. That excludes a huge demographic of younger to middle aged folks who are not at that income level that otherwise be looking at these. The one I would like to see is a base sport, v6 with manual or automatic, half doors and soft top and A/C and cruise standard. And offer it at about $27,000 with shipping. Maybe make rear locker standard or optional at a reasonable price.
Pentastar V6 is good, so much so that I almost don't even feel like giving this 2.0T 4 cylinder a chance. Chrysler should be dead long ago but their Pentastar V6 (and their Pacifica van) have been so good that it can carry the brand on its back. It's a large size V6 with plenty of muscle, and being naturally aspirated there's no potential of a $1,000+ repair bill to replace a bad turbo. High schoolers and young twenty-somethings in college working earning a typical wage can't afford to repair their car if a turbocharger fails. Any issue with the V6 engine (besides timing) will cost in the $10's to $100's of dollars, not $1,000+ with turbos. I'm sure Jeep and all the other brands prefer that their buyer are indifferent about what's under the hood because it's obviously cheaper to manufacture almost any inline 4 compared to the amount of raw material needed to make a V engine.
@lordrayden3045 Go ahead and take the hit on owning one of these. You either drive it until the day after the warranty expires and see it crumble or you fold and roll it for a quarter of what you paid into whatever next new vehicle you wanna ruin your credit with.
You could get a RAV 4 for $31,000 that will last forever. Who is going to pay $46,000 for this European piece of crap? No thanks. Whoever sold Jeep to Stellantis should be locked up.
46k is fine with a 20k incentive
At 46 for a two door, it's right where it belongs. On a dealer lot, not in a driveway.

Those tires look perfect for a good old-fashioned snowstorm. Blizzard like conditions.. 3 feet of snow in eight hours. Perfect.
Jeep needs to offer incentives to move these Wranglers....not just $2k off, I mean like $10k to $15k off. Then they'd be priced appropriately.

Like the two door and color looks good. Put the 3.6 engine in it and I would buy. Nice video.
Too much money, I'd never buy one. Having said that I'd still love to have one with the 6spd manual and V6.
Order one,
It would be like $5,00p cheaper
It’s a Wrangler 2 Door, Willys, cloth interior, base model gauge cluster, 4 Cylinder, and that’s $46K??
$50k is too much for any Chrysler product
One of the many reasons why Stellantis is having problems.
A few years ago ,that Money got You a Rubicon 🤔
Too much money! I bought a new 2004 Rubicon, well equipped, with a list price of half that!!!
I bet you made a lot less money in 2004 also.
Oh look….

Heated seats? They need to build a more simple Wrangler, its a Jeep not a luxury SUV
it's 2025. Heated seats are pretty much standard not luxury.
It needs a 4.0 inline six and a 6 speed manual.
Opened the video and didn't even watch it. The answer is yes, $46k for a Willies is outrageous considering that they used to cost $30k 7 years ago...
2 door. Manual Transmission, handcrank windows a/c and a hard top option.

If you have to ask if an amount is too much for something...the answer is yes.
Bot a 17 2door Sport s for 26k, bot a 2019 4door Rubi for 39k. I buy that Willys for 34k max.
Why are they charging so much?
It's a nice jeep wrangler willy for a two door

Jeep really screwed up when they stopped using the 4.0 some yrs ago
Yup
Too much money
Gladiators start at $39k at my Jeep dealer.

Yes.
Id buy a totally stripped down 2 door. Yes
Stopped watching when you said 46k
Yes by 15k at the least
Too much. But a 2dr is what a real Jeep is. That’s coming from a guy with a 2023 Wrangler 392
Turbo 4 banger. No.
Still $10,000 over priced , soon to be another victim of lot rot
At least 10k cheaper and now we’re talking.
I paid more for less in my 2023 2-door willys.
