Simsi45 is doing his own version of Pleasantview and it's shaping up to be by far the best. He recreated every lot, but also expanded the world in a more believable way. And it includes lots from every EP, like a fire station and junk yard. It's going to be the definite version of Pleasantview for The Sims 3.
No shade to boring bones, they are amazing and have some great mods but I think I prefer Cindy’s version of pleasantview. Boring bones did a good job though, this was fun to see!
Hey CJ! Thanks a lot for sharing Pleasantview with your subscribers! I actually didn't make much of a fuss about this release because I had been working on OldTown for a while before, inspired by the base version of The Sims 1, and I challenged myself to build and complete the world in just 5 hours live on my channel, then I remembered that I had an unfinished version of Pleasantview and asked myself: "If I could create a world in 5 hours, how long can it take me to finish this map?" So I took this old project and finished it in 1 day. xD I had to review and fix a few things, but in the end everything worked out. My intention was to create a vision that represented what Pleasantview would be like in The Sims 2 if we had an open world, so I tried to keep it as similar as possible, but integrating the rabbit holes throughout the city. So again, thank you so much for introducing people to this version of Pleasantview, it means a lot to me!
I love this one, I always find boringbones has a great way of making his worlds very pretty, but IM SO FRUSTRATED that placing lots is really challenging due to problems with everything saying its 'on the roads' which SUCKS, but still gorg.
Thank you very much! >< This issue may be due to routing. In some worlds, I may end up being very strict about routing to avoid long-term performance issues. If you are referring to Pleasantview, then in this specific case, although there is more space for the Sims to navigate, the streets were custom built, and the sidewalk that the lots are connected to is not actually the street, but a sidewalk that was added next to the street xD It was the only way I found to be able to reproduce the aesthetics of ts2. Anyway, you can always import my maps into CAW and make whatever modifications you want, I don't mind. Once on your computer, you can do whatever you want to enjoy the map in the best way! ;D
I think the Stadium and Town Hall should change places. Having the stadium next to the houses could be a bit disturbing, and looks better with the Town Hall nex to the houses. Also no one would live around the stadium that''s why the small abandoned house that's in hte forest of pleasantview c
Not a fan of this one, parks are barren and empty, and gardens are non existing next to the houses, even at Goth's Manor, where garden was important point of the lot in Sims 2.

I think those unfurnished houses are how those houses are in sims 2 pleasantview as well 😊
Hi CJ! I'm sure that all we will enjoy if you furnish or makeover every corner of this new world.
