Hey I can't get the populated save to work. I put the folder in my saves after I downloaded the world and the save is not appearing, is there something I could have done wrong? Or is it because I don't have late night that it won't appear?
The downloading link, can you use that for your android phone as well? and if not do you know of a successful link to play this game for android phones I can use?
@@kaylanicole6080 Yes, it requires Late Night. But that won't stop the world from working if you don't have it. Please make sure you install the empty world through the launcher first and then put the save file in your Saves folder. A tip on rotational play in The Sims 3: use Nraas to disable story progression and use Awesomemod to use ts2 style aging, so only active household is aging.
@Sam Stella yeah, but that turns off aging for EVERYONE. This person is suggesting a way to do The Sims 2 aging style - where only the active household ages.
@@neamhdhlisteanach6720 Nope. They age, they just dont do things like get skills, increase in job, get married, get friendships etc unless you control them and tell them to.
Just so you know, if you have Nraas Overwatch installed, the TS2 style aging of Awesomemod won't work. But never fear - Nraas Story Progression has it covered. You just click on City Hall > Story Progression > Town Options > Options: Sims > Death: Allow Aging, and set that to "False". The rest of the town will stop aging, but your active lot will. The town will still have story progressions though (skill gain, careers, relationships, marriages, even births). If you don't want that, you have to get into the more detailed parts of the mod to turn those off and on.
This is making me want to reinstall the sims 3! I’ve never been able to get into it but I think this would really help with that. The town looks amazing and I’m so excited!
The fact that this is base game and late night only makes me so happy! I have a good amount of packs, but chose to play with only a few at a time so the game doesn’t get bogged down, so this is right up my alley!

wow this is nostalgia upon nostalgia of a much better sims gaming experience. so much work must have gone into creating this and it looks fantastic. I used to always play the broke family in the sims 2 as it was fun to make them super wealthy and have them take over the pleasant house.
My laptop's time is limited I feel, and there's no telling when or if I'll ever be able to replace it. To play it safe I took a break from The Sims 4 and went back to The Sims 2 for the time being because I'm certain my laptop can handle it (at least I hope so). While I'm enjoying the nostalgia, I'm finding difficult going about cc shopping (never had access to it back then) as well as ensuring I have everything I need for it to run on my Windows 10 laptop (so far no issues).
I don't have a flashy computer but I found mods really helped to stop The Sims 3 crashing and overheating. The NRAAS mod coupled with Error Trap and Overwatch has incredibly improved gamplay to the point I can have graphic settings a bit higher etc! It's on the recommended mod list in the description but I was genuinely surprised by how much difference it makes so maybe it could aid you :) (I've been using the mods for aaaages)
You are the only simmer who could even tempt me to watch a Sims 3 video, much less make me want to actually try the game for the first time! Brilliant idea and execution! And Caleb! Such great work! Thanks you for sharing your talents with us!

As a world builder myself, I can tell you spent a lot of time on this. I love TS2, and was always frustrated that we couldn't walk around the town, so this is awesome. The sims all look good, and the houses look the ones in the original neighborhood. It's a shame we can't have the shopping area. I blame EA! Definitely a world I will be adding, and I might go play TS2 some as well. Pleasantview was always a blast! I liked Lilith as well. In my game, Angela was more into Dustin than self improvement, and Lilith did really well at college. Love the updated details as well. Thanks for sharing!

When i check if I have Late Night installed it says it is, so there shouldn't be any problems. I'll try to uninstall and see if I get the same problem, hope it works. I really wanna play your save :D
HI there! This problem happens when you don't have the unpopulated world installed. You need to install the world first and then add the save file or the save file has nothing to load from. Good luck!

I love this so much. Especially how you logically placed the criminal warehouse in trailer park area, city hall to posh area with mansions, and all of the businesses where pleasantviews obvious business area is. The layout looks like authentic pleasantview, and functions like authentic pleasantview (in where all of the stuff is located) and … ah, perfectionist "organize it all" in me who is basically enemy of all creative freedoms what becomes to canonical sims lore is having some sort of weird reverse heart attack looking at it.
Also, almost creepy how you put Burbs to exact same house I always put them. In old sims 2 and 3 basegame hoods it sometimes feels like everything has canonical place even when it doesn't.
This is *EPIC* !! I haven't played Sims 3 in a long time. I may have to open it up and give this a go! I still need to get into your Fairplay hood, gah! Well done you guys! :)

Rick Purdue was probably a randomly generated Science Geek which is a rare npc type that exists in the sims 3.

I love this so much. Especially how you logically placed the criminal warehouse in trailer park area, city hall to posh area with mansions, and all of the businesses where pleasantviews obvious business area is. The layout looks like authentic pleasantview, and functions like authentic pleasantview (in where all of the stuff is located) and … ah, perfectionist "organize it all" in me who is basically enemy of all creative freedoms what becomes to canonical sims lore is having some sort of weird reverse heart attack looking at it.
Also, almost creepy how you put Burbs to exact same house I always put them. In old sims 2 and 3 basegame hoods it sometimes feels like everything has canonical place even when it doesn't.
