I used to play Sims 3 when I was a kid but moved to Sims 4 when I was like 12 and I recently started playing Sims 3 again and omg the amount of stuff you can do in Sims 3 is mindblowing 😭 Everything in Sims 4 is locked behind a paywall.
I was disgusted when I saw that all sims 4 content over 1k total. Meanwhile you can buy the sims 3 EPs used for like 10 bucks each, and you can download all store content free if you know where to look lol
I've been suffering from Post Holiday blues after visiting family in Jamaica that the first world I've been on after coming back to sims is Sunlit Tides. The rural island is perfect for my attempt to Yardify everyone 😂
This was such s great list! I hadn't heard of most of them but i totally agree about kit island and salmon woods. I have done two different play throughs in both those worlds, they are just so charming, have everything you need and don't lag.
I love how different the worlds you chose for this are! Well, I often see Luxor and Salmon Woods on other people's top ten lists, but the rest are different and just as lovely!
I've been wanting to resurrect my Northern Wind challenge save. This video is perfect for that kind of challenge as sims have to move to new worlds frequently.
Kit island is a world I always use for a vacation world for salmon woods cause they both give off New England vibes so I think they go well together. I see salmon woods being in maybe Maine or New Hampshire and Kit Island being a island near cape cod in Massachusetts cause it has that energy.
Woaw I have not played in TS3 for years now so I guess this is the new generation of custom world. I used to play with the old one like Storybrook County, Evansdale Country, Setra, St-Claire, Mayfield Springs, Meadow Glen, Alpine County, Los Aniegos… I feel old now I’m too busy to playing any game 😢

I really love salmon woods with all the supernatural undertones hiding in the bushes. Would be perfect for my family that currently lives in moonlight falls. And about the world population I dont hve to worry. Their family tree almost includes the entire town😅

You have to go where you installed sims 3 so for me it's Program Files (x86) > Origin Games > The Sims 3 > Game Data > Shared > Non Packaged > Worlds and you put them in that folder.

Ohh wait, when do you see the tearing? I've been seeing terrain tearing in CAW and thought it was just my old computer starting to struggle. Haven't seen many people talk about that in the game!
Oh I though we were talking about screen tearing. It happens whenever I play Sims 4 without VSynch on. I figured it happened in Sims 3 due to me playing in windowed mode. @@Starlysh

the rabbit hole rugs in a houseboat in kit island are kinda like they have to take a ferry to the mainland to work hehe that's so cool
I love the boat with all the rabbit hole rugs on Kit Island. I guess it's trying to simulate having to get the boat to the mainland to go to work.

What?!… you didn’t add Alpine county or Greymont Bay. These are two of the best Sims 3 words of all times.
I did a similar list a long time ago and I included Greymont Bay on that list.
