Thanks for saving us from a lot of disappointment, Cjplays. Most of those weren't even worth the time it took to download and install them, and had no business being uploaded. I'd reserve your time and effort of an overview for the few that were fully realized maps. The couple others that were nice, but empty could be a "Fixer to Fabulous" type series for when you're in a build/renovation mood?
Hi CJ thank you so much for doing this. Sometimes I look at a lot of these worlds but I’m concerned about downloading them so it’s really helpful to see you download these worlds so we can look at them and also I would love you to populate Cape albacore that would be fantastic. Please don’t forget the world I recommended to you in your last video because I think it’s one of the best world ever in the Sims 3 a brand-new world by Yorkieb a British creator it’s called Littlewood Haven it’s absolutely amazing. I’d love you to review it.. have a great weekend🎉

I also noticed that a large majority of these are Island worlds. I guess people either really like building Island cities in the Sims 3 or people have too much trouble hiding the edges to create the illusion that it isn't an Island. I wish they gave us few extra distant terrain objects.
as the owner of a weak laptop and still can't afford better pc, I say that island worlds are the easiest for gameplay, and or if they are not so full

Too bad they don't have some distant terrain objects for smaller worlds than, for people who would like a small world to play with but don't want an Island world
Honestly, with a tiny bit of polish, and a catchy name and description, that "my world" could be a total hit!

I don't understand why people upload worlds that are so incomplete. And you skipped a bunch in the store that were likely worse....lol 😆😞😆
43:51 You probably have default replacement for stairs, or it's bad CC. These metal staircases have been already in several overviews, and it looks like they could have been in some industrial world like Boroughsburg or Cronor. If you don't want to mess up your save files, you can test worlds on fresh folder in Documents directory. Only folder named The Sims 3 can be read by game, so naming one The Sims 3 World To Check Out will put this folder aside, it can be restored by naming it back into The Sims 3. It's very useful, cause all mods and things installed through launcher will stay in that folder too.

I'm just waiting for somebody to recreate the Hidden Leaf Village on Sims 3 🥺 I can make the characters but the houses and buildings I really suck at it.

Thank you for doing this! Cape Albecore is my favorite, I downloaded that one 😊 and that one was just an empty Riverview 🤣 and some of them... I don't know, but non the less, very cool video, I enjoyed it 😊

Okay Tuscaloosa would be Tuscaloosa Alabama, it's one of the cities that got hit by the tornadoes pretty bad several years ago
Always love your world overviews! The EA app broke EIG for me, but I was able to use an old version of the origin app to run it the last time I used it, which was of course a long time ago now so I'm not sure that work around still works, but it's still worth a try for those unable to use that function. You just can't be also signed into the EA app and definitely ignore the update it tries to force on you.
I would love to see you build up Cape Albacore after Rosewood!

If you place a weather stone via the world objects in Create A World, a second one will spawn on one of the community lots. I tried it with one my worlds hoping to be able to control where the weather stone showed up, and I was kind of upset when a second one popped up. It has nothing to do with world size.
19:08 I think it's possible to place weather stone from buydebug menu in buymode. This creator probably put in at the end of path, and the second one spawned in another part of the world.
If you do a world overview of Oz, please try to have the store content installed :)

in the sims 3, can you view the surroundings through the sims eyes?
it was like that in second life, and it felt like you were actually inside of buildings and homes

For the not being able to place down, its possible that because you were going in and out of worlds without fully shutting the game down, it glitched.

Really liked this long overview! So much crap though, which is a shame. Sometimes on the other hand you can still find little gems like Coridge or Velaris (though the latter isn't shown in this video).
