I discovered the “Brunch at the Old Mill” during a particularly deep Simming binge in Dec 2020 (COVID during Christmas, I was bored and lonely lol). This was around the time that “Cottagecore” was taking off in the mainstream. I ended up downloading the set from the Sims 3 Store and it was so delightful. The tea set and jam making station don’t add much to gameplay but the vibes are immaculate. Listening to Folklore and Evermore on repeat while creating the perfect cottagecore sims and houses was a special silver lining during my COVID cloud.
Aghhh I LOVE the brunch at the old mill set!! The canning station especially was very close to making it on this list - and will definitely be mentioned if I do a follow up video in the future! I’m so glad that that set could bring you a little joy during that really rubbish time, for me it was animal crossing new horizons that dragged me through that Christmas period 🥲 thank you for sharing!💖
Can you add them to your game if your game is legit? I got the entire collection on steam when they were on sale for like $70 total a few years back, but I hate the thought of giving more money to EA
There are so much great store content. I have everything from the store, but forget about a lot of it. I never use the venues. This inspired me to go back and use some of these and start a new save. Also, the home lot that you are using is that one from Riverview or did You build that one yourself. I like your setup on the outside.
I can be the same to be honest! I went through a mad phase last year where I downloaded loads of discounted sets using the daily deals spreadsheet - but even then I can forget to visit the lots I have 😅 so the very little house was one I built myself in Appaloosa Plains, the big grey one is a pre-made one in Riverview, and the one in the footage showing off the toddler items is a modified pre-made one in Monte Vista, hope that helps!🥰
Absolutely! I believe those are the daily deals sale items - some players made a crazy spreadsheet that will tell you exactly when store items will be featured in that sale section!!😍
Will buying items from the Sims store make me connect with Origin or EA? I assume yes. I only use physical copies to work around using these platforms.
Great question! My top 3 expansions for the sims 3 probably have to be: seasons (weather makes the worlds feel so much more alive!), ambitions (I love the skills, active careers, and world of Twinbrook), and world adventures (which adds a couple of new skills, a bunch of new collectibles, and of course the travel worlds which are super fun!) - hope that helps!! :)

Hello!💖 I believe you should be able to buy store content if you purchased sims 3 via Steam… I’ve checked a few wiki pages and it says that players may have trouble with installing the content depending on the browser they use, though it looks like using Chrome is where players have the best luck! Try checking out this wiki page for more info: ‘game guide: getting store content to work with the Steam version of The Sims 3’ ! Hope this helps 🥰
One can acquire sim points by either buying them through the EA app (search for ‘sims 3 currency’!) or you may be able to get some for free on the sims 3 store depending on what packs you have!! Because if you go to manage game tab via Steam, if will showcase your CDkeys, which you can then use on EA via the redeem tab in account settings. This should give the players on steam their points! Plus access to 1.69 version if they ever want to use that version!
Also there is a lot of free items in the store that are extras for some packs and for holidays like Halloween stuff.

gurl there is a site where you can download everything from the sims 3 store for free. every town, set, objects etc. dont pay for that :-D
