Oh, the days when our computers used to sound like a train while playing the Sims, and part of the fun was the intense anxiety everytime it would freeze without saving.
i will ALWAYS stand by, sims 4 did the cas and build buy correct. i LOVE EVEYTHING they’ve done w cas and build/buy. but they genuinely lack in gameplay. it’s almost as if they gave us everything to create imagination in our head for the game but nothing to let us execute it
I have not played the sims 3 for years now, so I decided it's time to download it and play it again cause I really miss it, although I'm probably going to struggle playing with it cause I'm so used to the Sims 4.
I have fond memories on Island Paradise, it was my first expansion pack. I remember finding King Triton & made my sim have a baby with him. I was disappointed when I moved her back to Sunset Valley & the relationship bar & family tree she had with him are gone
Sims 3 Island Paradise looked good on paper but when it came time to play it there were major issues. After 20 years of playing the Sims the bugs don't surprise me anymore.
Iirc that's because Maxis didn't get to finish the world for it before the release date, thus there's so much sht that's wrong with it and jacks up how one can play it. Which is a shame because IP is the best expansion of the game in my personal opinion.

But also making the resort was so fun!! Oh man this video makes me wanna play it again!!
Also… I love the all in one bathroom! Such a timesaver! Haha!
I have only two packs for TS3 - Island Paradise is one of them! I love this pack, it isn't as glitchy as they say and the fun is infinite. I played this game for many years, yet every time I play with this pack I discover something new. And I like mermaids
The Sims 3 is legendary.
Sims 3 Island Paradise was a BEAST. I loved the diving spots so much. And trying to unlock all those tiny islands that make awful homes! It lags like a bitch though.
Sims 4 could have done SO much. Instead, we got a visually beautiful world and not much else. I do like the random chickens running around on the beach.
After playing the sims 4 for so many years you forget how AMAZING and jam packed the sims 3 is
It’s crazy because I preordered this game when I was 13 and I can’t believe it’s already been 10 years, as of last week since it released.
I absolutely love this pack, is one of my favourites, idc if it's laggy I love the world and house boats, everything is fantastic ❤❤❤
The Sims 4 could NEVER!
Wow! Actual gameplay, fancy that.
can you please never stop bringing us sims 3 content?
thank you
YES!!! I’m here for this.
This was so fun to watch, I cackled the whole video 🤣 please make more! Island paradise was my all time fav sims 3 pack, it’s so cool to see it again
Ooooh the return of Fanny-Mae! She's so iconic. 🤣😍
Omg I’m so happy you finally made a video on this pack !! I always wanted you to make a gameplay of island paradise and into the future, both packs are so big and detailed it’s crazy
Yes more sims 3 content! Love this game
this was the best expansion i have ever bought, the map is huge, tons to do, can go underwater, the only downside is my loading time went up to 1 hour.
Alternative title: 'Satch hits on Sims and Sharks for a solid 20 minutes"
Oh, the days when our computers used to sound like a train while playing the Sims, and part of the fun was the intense anxiety everytime it would freeze without saving.
"ARHIPEGALO" I love you Satch 🤣🥰
I LOVEEEE WHEN YOU PLAY THE OLder SIMS GAMESSSSS
i will ALWAYS stand by, sims 4 did the cas and build buy correct. i LOVE EVEYTHING they’ve done w cas and build/buy. but they genuinely lack in gameplay. it’s almost as if they gave us everything to create imagination in our head for the game but nothing to let us execute it
yesss I completely agree about the execution part!
sims 3 videos always make my day better! this one was hilarious too i loved ittt
I have not played the sims 3 for years now, so I decided it's time to download it and play it again cause I really miss it, although I'm probably going to struggle playing with it cause I'm so used to the Sims 4.
This video was entertaining af! Thanks! :D
OMG SIMS 3 LOOKS SOOOO GOOD
Those were the days 🩵🩵🩵 I never had glitches in Island living and always thought upcoming Sims games would be better than Sims3, well...
Literally loved this pack when I was a kid 🥺🥲
Yess right when I got my food and you posted. Perfect timing
i used to be able to play the sims 3 for HOURS it never got boring and packs added so much
Nraaas over watch is apparently the fix for the lag
Your let's plays are so entertaining! Can't wait for your next video
Wait until he finds out about the kraken XD
I have fond memories on Island Paradise, it was my first expansion pack. I remember finding King Triton & made my sim have a baby with him. I was disappointed when I moved her back to Sunset Valley & the relationship bar & family tree she had with him are gone
❤ I looove island paradise soooo much I’ll spend HOURS online looking up all the routing fixes 😂
I cannot love this enough you made me want to download sims 3 again..that's all.
I will always love sims3, I miss all the sims3 stuff
Sims 3 Island Paradise looked good on paper but when it came time to play it there were major issues. After 20 years of playing the Sims the bugs don't surprise me anymore.
Iirc that's because Maxis didn't get to finish the world for it before the release date, thus there's so much sht that's wrong with it and jacks up how one can play it. Which is a shame because IP is the best expansion of the game in my personal opinion.
with some digging and modding, you can make this map playable. The great thing is the features aren’t tied to this world tho, many people created different worlds with all the features of this pack
honestly its literally a game of chance as to whether ur computer can run it without trying to die lmao
@@iwakeupandboomimarat yeah i agree, i just had an average laptop and never had an issue with it when it first came out.
@@G94-u4c i remember my brother pirating the game for me on my windows 7 desktop and other than kinda frequent 10 second freezes i never had massive issues with the game but then u see people with full on gaming pc setups that cant run the game, its super weird
The names of these queens, i can't
When I played sims 3 Island Paradise I was in awe when you could swim underwater. Then sims 4 Island Living came out and you couldn't I was like WTF is this!? You can have a relatonship with dolphins woopee doo, In sims 3 you can get killed by sharks and summon the kraken.
I want to see a sim get killed by a shark - TO THE ISLANDS!😈
Ooooh! How do I summon the Kracken?🙂
ur the sims 3 gameplay just gives me so much joy
Who's still playing Sims 3 in 2023? Absolutely me too!!
It's tragic that we went from this to what we now have in the sims 4
To reduce lag when you play island paradise, don't use alot of other packs/expansions. Just click them off.
That seems so so fun! I also played TS3 but never with this expansion. I am so excited for the next parts
My game doesn’t freeze so tips for ppl that want to play it. Nrass mods for sure, smooth patch and there’s an island paradise fix where the other house boats won’t move preventing lag and you won’t have to delete them, what causes the lag is them moving (lightings mods to make the graphics better)
From what I remember resorts have hotel buildings that are rabbit holes but you can build VIP rooms that are normal playable rooms.
Maybe get the girls some Death Flowers? They can have the dying animations but Grim won't take them, so no need to reload :D
Man I wish I could play TS3 again, but not with my half broken potato laptop :(
Yay! TS3 Let’s Play. ❤ I was about to sleep but a new upload came in, time to postpone sleep. 😂
This pack seemed like so much fun. Never had the sims 3 but now I kinda want to
Thank you for reminding me of how amazing the sims 3 is. Your content has inspired me to play sims 3 again in like 8 years and I’m so in love with this game all over again (with cc and mods most issues are fixed)
I gave up on Sims 4. I may go back to 3. Since most content creators play 4, I unfollowed them. But I will continue to follow Satch. 😊
My favorite pack after World Adventures!
I liked it really much... but i had so many problems with this pack... many bugs, game crashes etc. And i've heard a lot people had this problems with this pack. So i haven't played it really often, sadly.
Yeah, it broke my game so bad back when it was new, I returned it. Thankfully, today I learned there's lots of mods to help fix it!
Am I the only one who clearly sees that Guillermo is Sims 3's Matteo Lane?
6:19 i thought you said Casamigos Household and i was about to have a fit lmao
