I feel like the sims should just give us a town with only 1 lot in it but that lot is 200x200. Or 2 lots where one is 200x200 and another is 100x100. I feel like the sims community would appreciate it
I’ve been watching Desperate Housewives since it aired and every couple of years I rewatch the entire series. I’ve also been building and watching sims builds of the sets for years and this is the best I’ve ever seen so far. Incredible work can’t wait to pat two!

We can see a bit of the back yard, Linette was celebrating a birthday in her back yard, and then have to switch to the bree one. Or when the kids had a house in the back yard. They were few event too in the backyard of Gaby, 2 marriage if i remember well. I used to watch french Sim's4 construction videos. But now oufffff gurrrllll you got me !!! Good job, I love it !!

The reason I always wish there was a multifamily lot is because of these buildings. You play with an independent household unit but you share the lot with several household units.

Hey Kate. Oh wow, even with the omissions I'm surprised you got so much of the street into the lot. While I don't care for the show itself, this is a fantastic recreation. I'd love it if you did more backlots and TV/movie locations. Use your love as inspiration and it's what I did for my worlds back when I was building and downloading lots.

I have this image of Bree's son's room being snowboarder or winter sports themed from the first time i watched DH. However, i tried to rewatch the series last year and i dont even think theres a real scene in that room.. very excited to see how it turns out in the next part.
Wow... this is amazing. I think if you could partner with Twisted Mexi and work on his World Creation Tool for the Sims 4, I'm sure you could recreate the entire neighborhood to scale with the yards and everything - maybe even all the neighborhoods nearby as well. The possibilities. :)
OMG! Has it really been 20(!) yrs already??? 😵😅🙈 I don't like to watch that kind of show nowadays, particulary bc everything's so overexaggerated, but as a teenager I really dreamed of living in Wisteria lane and you really nailed it 🤗 Speaking of "perfect" - I once saw a documentary on those Disney homes you mentioned: I think it's a town Disney build in Florida in the mid 90's, advertized as "the perfect town" and to make it perfect, life there was - as you guessed - heavily restricted and more like a small closed community bubble 😕 If I remember correctly, the project kinda fell apart shortly after bc of many problems and a lot of people moved out again, so in the early 2000's, Disney sold the land - I heard it's more of a "normal" suburban town/city today 🤷♀️

I'm not sure if the Sims 4 could take it, and even if you could build on it, playing on it might be impossible because it might lag so much. That's the amazing appeal of the set itself, it's just so dreamy and beautiful! :) They really chose the perfect filming location and even on it's own (Without the context of the show) it's just perfect! Glad you like the build, I did my best to replicate the dreamy vibes!

I wonder if there's a big enough lot in Strangerville to put it? When I first solved the Strangerville mystery, I basically played it like I was in Desperate Housewives with all the bored wives (and one bored husband) solving the mystery in a gossippy way. :edit: I just checked and the only one big enough is the [redacted] lab. Hmm.
@@KateEmeraldif you could do a continuation on another lot with Edie’s, Mrs McCluskey’s and the park that would be amazing. Such good work on this though! It’s a shame we don’t have bigger lots to make it possible to recreate the whole street. But still you’ve done a great job with what we have 🫶🏻
IMO this is the standard EA Should have made the neighborhoods in Sims 4 look like Originally, full of life. I can get they wanted the players to fill in those gaps but all simmers are different and instead made the atmosphere feel totally lifeless
If you own the For Rent expansion pack, your Sims can own the whole lot, live in one of the houses and rent out the other houses. You can turn them into invidual units and Sims will move in!

I built it and started to play only to realize the game only allows 8 people and you cant control who lives where. 😮
