You should be paying us for suffering we endured watching that shaving commercial
not many know that you can make a really good living as a commercial actor........ lol
@@renegade8558 I love dennis but I don't wanna see that lol
That commercial was creepy bro
I mean, I thought it was pretty entertaining @@renegade8558
This is why Dennis is a cut above the rest: Yes the cars are great but it's his kindness and appreciation towards the people who he buys the cars from. That last section on Bob Richards was Outstanding!
@@alexcorona That’s low brow and distasteful to say sir. There are better ways to get a point across, rather than bringing up a family tragedy. I’m sure if one were to dig into your family, there would be a few skeletons as well. Bad form
@@alexcoronaWhere can you find the real information on his son's death? I found a photo of some joker covered in wigger tats.
@@bigval2601Who in the hell are you? I use my real name on social media, and the truth isn't lowbrow or distasteful, lying and covering up is.
@@alexcoronabig comment for no info. Not nice to drag a man you don’t know.
@@alexcoronasry now I’m curious?
I still don’t understand why this channel doesn’t have several million subscribers. Awesome content !
Give it time. It is a new channel :)
It’s not that new of a channel 270+episodes of coffee walk!!hands down most underrated channel on RUclips!!
It's the ads.
@@theguyoucallwhen...8047 The obvious, and logical, answer is that the content and/or presenter are not as universally appealing as the above quoted fans think they are.
Maybe he should start talking like vgg, 😂
Best comment ever"Only California can screw up a gas can" !!!!!! Outstanding
It's not a joke... first thing i do when I buy a new gas can is take apart the stupid neck
What makes it a CA gas can? I’m curious.
@@tho464 yeh me too.. someone please explain
Just hating on California. It's a Texas thang.
@rollinrat4850 bro it’s just a gas can. Don’t get all worked up. But seriously, you really think any other state is better? Every state has its problems but politics only became a HUGE freaking issue after Trump started banging the drum. I have lived in CA since 1984 and I just paid off my home and living the good life. Beaches don’t care what party you support. Too much emphasis on politics in my opinion. And a gas can is just a gas can. It holds gas. Move on.
Bob Richards, a two-time Olympic pole vault gold medalist who also became an ordained minister, died February 28, 2023. He was 97. He was also the first Olympic Champion to appear on a Wheaties Box RIP Champ 1926-2023
The cereal quickly extended beyond baseball players and soon began including Olympic athletes. In 1935, track and field gold medalist, Babe Didrikson, became the first Olympian as well as the first female athlete to be featured.
WRONG...
@@purtis99 “Two years later, Richards had another first: he was featured on the front cover of Wheaties. Prior to that year, athletes were only shown on the back of the cereal boxes.” smithsonian Magazine
True. Babe Didrikson 1932, Jesse Owens 1936 were the first two Olympians.
@@ThomasJones-ij6hv Sounds like the thing may be about the front cover. This guy was the first in the front cover evidently
Dennis, it can't be said enough that you and your team are Outstanding. Thank you Sir for the videos.
Agree 100%!! Sooooo much more class than the ass monkey!
They are a ' holy grail" team
Dennis I seldom give comments on youtube; but this time I have to. You sir, are a class act, sharing the info about Bob Richards was one of the finest things I've seen here. You got a wonderful selection of vehicles, and I know you'll find good homes for them.
But unlike Richard Dennis doesn't give any prices that's why I like Richard show better in that way because he does say. It's like Dennis doesn't want to play with the IRS too much
I remember when Wheaties put Bob on the box and had him as a spokesman (TV commercials). I feel sure many viewers are wondering, "who?" In the fifties, Mr. Richards values were not so far out as today. Thank you to Dennis Collins for including such ethos and pathos, it is not wasted on me.
Dennis, you are a real pro at acquiring some rare and interesting cars. It's a real art to have the ability to find these collections before anyone else does and then have the means to buy them up not everyone can pull this off. Being a real gentleman in this process shows class!
It would be really cool to see a detail video on some of these cars. Maybe show some of the viewers some techniques they can use on their own cars. Plus, it would just be cool in general to see them cleaned up.
Each Coffee Walk cooler than the last. Love being a fan and follower!!!
I'm sure this has been mentioned before but I really like the fact that he likes CARS. There is always a variety on each episode and it seems like we see something different every time. A true car guy with great taste.
I thank Dennis for finding these cars that will probably just sit there with nothing done to them . Look at all the Shelby's and Corvettes he's saved. Then all the rest. If I hit the Lottery I know where I'm going.
Dennis brother, you never let me down. Thank you and thank you to the whole crew for all the hard work and content. As for you Mr.Richards, rest in paradise old friend. Thank you for being an awesome guy, sportsman, and for being an American Icon.
i believe the Zimmer was based on the foxbody Mercury Cougar, not the mustang. i had a customer that had one back in the early 90s. you can see the stock cougar roofline, the landau top covers up what would be the back windows. when we did an alignment on it, we put in the computer 88 mercury cougar for the Hunter alignment rack.
Did they put a 5.0 HO in a cougar?
yes, also in Tbirds too
You are correct, sir.
flapjacks, love it. awesome cars. My grandfather had 3 Mercedes 38 vert, 58 300, and a 65 220. I drove them all. They got sold when he passed away. I wish I knew where they are now. He also had a 67 and 69 Alfa spiders round-tail I'd love to have them back for sure.
22:00 “only CA can screw up a gas can”. As a CA native, truer words have never been spoken
what a cool find. i used to work for a guy during summers in high school who owned about 15-18 cars, and about 1/3 of them were either bentley's or rolls' of the same eras. my job was to basically wash the cars, keep the fluids cycling through them, get them inspected/registered etc. i remember the first time i got to drive his '93 turbo R. man was that thing a treat, so smooth and so much power, it was amazing how well it drove with the 3 speed GM auto it had in it .
You being the former Cannonballer DC, all of those Rolls', I was waiting for The Sheik (Jamie Farr) to be sitting in the driver's seat in one of them. Awesome find sir!
For years I had thought the Zimmer was built using the Mercury Cougar as the donor vehicle .
Wikipedia says you are correct .
Keep up the great work thanks for taking us along .
The name flapjacks originated in the 1600s in England. The “flap” part of flapjack dates back to the 1300s when “flap” was used in place of “to flip.”
It is uncertain as to what the “jack” in flapjack means, but it is often speculated to refer to the small size of a flapjack as “jack” was used to refer to something that was smaller than normal.
The flapjack was originally used to describe a pancake; however, the word flapjack has been used to mean a number of different foods including an apple turnover. The apple turnover is known as an applejack or flapjack in many parts of England and is a cookie made by combining rolled oats and syrup. In the 20th century, the word flapjack was also used to mean a “compact case for face powder.”
Flapjacks are still served throughout the world with restaurants, such as the Flapjack Shack in Traverse City, Mich. Flapjacks are often served with syrup, whip cream, chocolate chips, caramel, cherry, bananas, blueberries, strawberries, pumpkin flavoring and other spices. Many restaurants choose to also offer candy as a topping. When not using the word flapjack, many people describe the food as a pancake or griddlecake.
Saved me from having to Google that😂
You'll also find a flapjack in a gynecologist's toolbag.
The Silver 1989 Silver Spur is OUTSTANDING. Definitely my favorite. And if the white one was his son's favorite why wouldn't he keep it. ,? And I never understand how people can have such AMAZING cars and not put crazy miles on them or keep them in a building. You could have one less car an build a building big enough for all the cars.
It's a crying shame how such expensive cars get parked to rot in some weed patch. Bob Richards must have made big money as a motivational speaker using sports as a theme. I read that he gave 25,000 speeches. Bob must have been a charismatic person.
Shaun P always has a positive can-do attitude. (Tongue firmly in cheek)
Flapjacks are totally a thing. I call them that all the time. Most waitresses look at me with a blank look. Great fun.
@@1991pony I love flapjacks. Perhaps you didn’t understand what I was saying
Thank you! I was gonna ask if anybody noticed that Shaun P did not appear to be a happy camper!
He looks like a downer
Compared to others with some bounce in their step
@@dougt5357 It actually happens quite often, he was was just extra sour on this one, so I thought I’d poke a little fun
Try silicone spray, instead of starting fluid, it won't hurt the cylinders! We use it on all our equipment. You're welcome 😁. The Old VT Logger!
Can't wait to see these cars cleaned up and running on future updates. Thanks for what you do Dennis.
That 73 Cornish is beautiful. Those body lines! To die for.
Daaarm,that Bentley!!!
I've been dreamin' about it sooo long- more the 30 years ago,i've even learnt to draw it,and did it sooo many times.
And now to see it like this......
okay, my Grandma (born 1897) would make both pancakes and flapjacks. The difference (at least in SW Virginia) is that pancakes when you cut them open have smaller bubbles and are flatter. Flapjacks are made with more baking soda, are fluffier with bigger bubbles inside and can hold more heart stopping goodness like more butter and maple syrup. You guys are great!
Dennis Collins is one of the nicest guys you can find very sportsman like dinkum personality I love his coffee walk
The best car was that 61 Belair 4 door sedan.
Jase from MD here...
Loooong time watcher and could talk jeep for days..but...
Really enjoyed the homage that was paid at the end. Hearing him talk was great, what he said deserves an applause.
🍻 everyone
Some people don’t take care of vehicles and suck the life out of them. Glad Dennis will find these vehicles a home so they can be appreciated.
Awesome video as always because Dennis is the same to everyone, whether they are a waiter at a restaurant or a millionaire car collector. Such a gentleman. Outstanding individual!!
Fantastic recoveries from an American Olympian 👏
May he rest in peace 🙏
All absolutely beautiful vehicles, can wait to see them after some TLC.
Dennis what a great guy you spend time with your guys and break bread. you talk to their mamas. Good for you sir.
I have watched Coffee Walk since the beginning. I think Dennis pays everyone what they asked for price. Always The "Gentlemen" when talking and looking at vehicles that he wants to buy. He does does his home work. He always tells what he knows about the vehicles to the seller. Well, He does like to get over on Richard! When he can! Just a great RUclips Channel. 👍 Shawn.
Yep! Just wish dennis had Richards subscriber count
“DC” & The A team, just an amazing collection and purchase !!! Dhamm !! Thxs for sharing 🇺🇸✌️
I have an 89 Bentley Turbo R, white. Glorious machine. Lordy it moves. You just don't feel the bulk when you are traveling at speed, well at least until you come into a sharp bend, and then you suddenly think you are going way too fast, but the car is actually really good in corners. The "R" for Road holding is not for show.
So the Big Question this Week... What were the 6 cars you did not get? and.... just wondering why he did not have an Aston Martin Lagonda from the 80's in that collection. Seems to me like a logical buy... combining British Engineering and Speed... I kept waiting to see one hidden some where on the property.
One was that s500
W220s are getting popular again so it's a fail to take an S-Type over that. Also more reliable than any of the Brits
Dennis and team, greetings from the Netherlands.. Love your show, I, m looking forward every Friday, to see your show, keep up the good show. 👍🏻👍🏻
In the late 50's I remember the tv ads with Bob Richards & thinking it was great for his picture to be on the Wheaties box. I think he started the trend of Olympic champions being on the Wheaties boxes. Thx Dennis, that was quite the collection of luxury cars.
Dennis was patting the gas pedal like he was priming the carb on that Rolls.
Those Rollers were outstanding, I’d love to see some of them restored, fab episode
I'm glad you paid tribute to Bob at the end. I was concerned you weren't going to tell some of his great story, but you did. He would have been so proud, driving his Rollers around town. The American dream personified right there!
Well done team.
,,,,, land o' lakes,wi....here ! ....best car vid of the week,,,rarely do we see these epic cars together,,,wow...that black Bently w/o keys,,my fave..............,tnx,,,pat & family
24:02 get the starting fluid with a straw and a piece of fuel line.... zip tied to spray right into the intake and operated by the driver
What a find of luxury cars! Also, I love how you stopped editing out taking a bite of food!! Thank you!!
I can second George's in Waco for awesome food and service! BIG place!!
Spent some cash on these Dennis....RR and B's are never cheap, even when they are cheap! Look forward to seeing what happens with them!!
Well done, as usual. SO much more than just a car buy by a car guy!
Thank you so much Dennis. Love Coffee Walk. I had a fall so I'm house Bound now no walking, I enjoyed watching the show And how you treat your help . And how you work like a Family. Great job God Bless .Keep having Fun
He went all out on that Manscape clip. Hopefully, they paid him extra for being extra 😂
Braver than me for sure.
Yeah i was surprised on the commercial but it was fine
Agreed
Glad he didn’t start grooming his balls
He didn't go ALL out. That would have broke the internet
I LOVE that Silver Wrath being Dallas Cowboys colors!!!
Great video!! I lived in Waco as a teen, 71'-74'. Never made it to George's or anywhere else to eat there as my family never ate meals away from home. My dad would take us out for ice cream after a Sunday drive in the country.
Very special and touching. Thank you Dennis. The last minute could help save the world.
I knew a family in Corpus Christi that had Zimmer make them a 4 door Golden Spirit version in Maroon. I think it was one of two factory made.
I just knew wasps were going to fly out of that gas lid with you tapping on it. Here in Mississippi if a car sits a week, out in the sun, you can be assured wasps will make a home of your car.
Last summer we were moving. And we had a lot of cars and big shop. Early 5am to 9am work to beat the heat like that. Soaked clothes. Carried spare T-shirt and shorts and a towels to lay on the seat to not soak the seats on the way home. Change clothes out in the woods behind the shop, still be sweating though on the way home!
The Zimmer looked like the car Jeremy Clarkson used in one of his latest "The Grand tour" episodes. His was built around a Nissan iirc.
Flapjacks is an informal name for pancakes. In the UK however it's more like a granola bar than a pancake, as it's made with oats.
Love all your videos could watch them over and over again, can't wait to see the videos every week
Great find on the cars but damn that food is making me hungry...lol...
Did any one else notice the golf club hood prop on the zimmer pure class
Thanks for the Bob Richards piece at the end I couldn't recall ever hearing about him as it was before my time.
Dennis it looks like there are some nice older tractors and heavy equipment on those properties. Be nice to see more of them. Always love your videos. Thanks for taking us along!
I'm usually annoyed by product placement ads and will skip through them. This one was well done. Good job making a commercial for them. Was much more tastefully done than their normal ads. 😂
I thought you were going to drop the shorts there for a sec with that lawnmower 😂😂
Thank you Dennis for rescuing all of these impeccable cars and trucks man! Thank you so much for keeping these icons in service!
I drove by the shop when I was out in Wylie today and saw the 600 sittin pretty out front.
Dennis, you and the guys make my Fridays great. keep it up.
As a English subscriber I thoroughly approve of the English & Euro content! 😃👍
"Flapjacks", while the term also refers to pancakes in the US and Canada in days gone by (in other words you have to be really really old to have used it), is a British term
for a product similar to granola bars.
Flapjacks VS Pancakes
Flapjacks, originating in the United Kingdom, are made from rolled oats, butter, sugar, and syrup. Flapjacks are oat-based bars, baked until golden and cut into squares or rectangles. They are more akin to granola bars and are consumed as a snack rather than breakfast.
Pancakes, on the other hand, are a staple in America, defined by their soft, fluffy texture and ability to soak up delicious syrups and toppings. Pancakes are a breakfast item, served with syrup and various toppings, such as fruits or whipped cream.
Amazing work with Dennis and the team buy 14 luxury cars from the 70s to the 2000s i never see a 2002 bentley AND the 1991 bentley turbo r barn find ❤❤❤
Watch the late brake show, with Johnny Smith, he has a gas can with fuel pumps and a battery cable attachment . Could be useful in the future 👍
Oh yeah I think he called it his can of hope. I hope this helps you out.
OH WOW ! AND I JUST LOVED THE GAS CAN COMMENT " IF ANYONE CAN SCREW UP A GAS CAN, CALIFORNIA CAN " ! HAAAAAA ! GOOD SHOW DENNIS !
RIP Bob, an interesting man amongst interesting men
Some of them will clean up nice and easy. Amazing how so many super fine classics can become so neglected.
Wow... you have a Benz Grosser and a Mulliner RR corniche coup.... amazing cars... look forward to seeing the restoration!
I really liked the 1972 Rolls Corniche. Reminds me of the 1967 2 door Silver Shadow from The Thomas Crown Affair. Especially liked the tribute to the former owner Rob Richards, job well done!
I loved the extra video of the girl in Pink yelling Run Forest Run!!!!! You all do a great job with the video!
"He had a passion for low production, luxury cars"...that he could store outside and treat like a Ford Fiesta. Hey..it was your money MR. Olympian👍
Hey Dennis, great show! I love how you guys have never ever had anything bad to say about the restaurants you visit. Also quick question. Have you guys ever went on a car buying run, get to your destination, and then decide not to buy the car due to being too expensive or too bad of a condition? If every you guys are near Fayetteville NC, please let me know. Would love to watch you film an episode. Would even volunteer to help in loading your car.
Sean P, you are absolutely right, sir. Flapjack is a country thing and don’t let none of them boys tell you different.❤🎉😅😊
Well it looks like Flapjacks have many food references from pancakes to apple turnovers in UK. Dennis was correct with Michigan. Looks like in Traverse City Michigan there is a restaurant still serving Flapjacks, pancakes. Some defintions describe a flapjack as a smaller version of a pancake, that is the Flap part...no one seems to know what the "Jack" meaning implies....for those who are interested.
Flap jacks in the UK are porridge oats, butter, golden syrup, light brown syrup mixed and set like a protein bar, an apple turnover is an apple turnover 👍🇬🇧
love this, the film quality now is beyond amazing, and love seeing you and the team go out and rescue cool cars. really says a lot about RR and Bentley build quality if they mostly just start up. and that mancscaped ad, leave some for the rest of us Dennis!
600 Mercedes...sets the Bar! The mint green Corniche is a great find. The Arnage is nice, one of their finest. Bentley 6.75 Turbo...British muscle car...26.57 I saw the back wheel rolling.
Dennis: Keep the '02 Arnage for the Mrs. Happy wife happy life! GYSOT! 😁
So very sorry for ya loss our Fer babies r very special and the true meaning of true love.....
Love the videos and content. Mu curiosity is driving me nuts with what the 8 cars u didn't wind up getting were.
First 2 minutes grabbed me, lol. Mulliner Park Ward RR Corniche. BAM!!! Very, VERY cool find!! 👍🏻😎👍🏻
Great video, Mulliner and Turbo R and the 600, quite the haul. Can't wait to see them clened up and running again
Have you ever wondered just how much Dennis spends when he buys lots like this? Babe, sure liked her Rolls Royces.
Thank you for sharing the epitaph of Bob! He truly had a passion for life, others and fine automobiles.
Can Kelsey please do the Manscape ad read?
Thank You.. Thank You Sean P.....for when you said "that's enough ether"... good call
Best of the internet award goes to Coffee Walk!
One of my favourite Coffee Walks, but I do live near Crewe where these beauties were produced.
That work truck looks like one of those trucks used by tree services. They tow a big wood chipper, and the chipped wood goes into that big truck box.
Name origin: Why are they called flapjacks -->There are many variations on the flapjack, including the delicate French crêpe, the Canadian buckwheat ploye, and the potato pancake. The word flapjack is believed to come from flipping, or "flapping," the cake on a griddle. :)
I believe the term "Flapjack" is British? We as Americans just adopted the name because "Pancakes" resemble "Flapjacks". Just my theory.
Another great rescue 🛟
Guys like Bob just lived an incredible life. Dont see that anymore
