You can see the first video of unboxing the PNW upgrades along with the install here, ruclips.net/video/03ZRRgEMbw0/видео.html.
Thanks for the video. Just purchased the PNW Gen3 handlebars and stem based on your video for my Specialized Rockhopper 🤙.
Great bars. You’ll see a ton of people enjoying them.
How did you like them? Easier to pop the front up? Any noticeable differences?
XC is very versatile. It can handle light trails as well as double as a gravel commuter.
That’s a solid upgrade to align with more moderate trail riding.
Best bike I could have gotten to make sure I’m actually going to ride regularly and to see what type of riding I like. I may have a new bike on the way though.
I have the exact bike. Bought my PNW based on your initial review. You were spot on 👍. I recommend switching out the wheels to the Line 30 (29'ers) and the 108 Rapid Drive hub. BIG difference in efficiency during pedaling. While I was at it , stepped up to Maxxis Recons in 2.25" . Another big upgrade you can feel . The chain ring is next. Going 32 tooth over the 28 for greater speed on straights. These upgrades really transformed the platform. Since I was happy with the bike as a Cross Country, it was worth the effort and coin. Good luck 😀
One more thing - everyone should go tubeless on these . The grip you get is tremendous. Especially on the Recons . Even at a conservative 26 psi up front and 28 in the rear , the tires just claw their way. Recons are very fast rolllers too. Excellent XC choice for looser trails as well as hard pack.
Sounds like you got a really nice bike customized to your exact needs. Love it!!!
Similar situation with me, but FYI a you can go up to 34t. Mine came as a 3x (2019) so it had a 22/30/40 crank and I lost that top gear speed when I went to a 1x with a 32t. I’ve since switched to a 34t and with the addition of shedding weight/decreasing resistance by shedding mech weight and going tubeless I feel like I’ve got some of that speed back.
@@kwaktak Where did you find a 34t chainwheel if I may ask?

Im looking to get these PNW bars and stem today but trying to find out if much difference between the ones with the Range logo v1 v2? To the ones with newer ones V3 that has 2 PNW logos? 25 bucks of a difference and their 3rd try at them has anyone got more info on the differences? Thanks
if I remember correctly, the newer bars are wider than the older ones, but not by much. check the dimensions.
What’s the size of your front and rear tires?
I have 2.4 on there now.
Are you able to peel the PNW decals off?
To be honest I don’t think you can get it off without scratching/damaging the bars. They are raised and seem to be stickers but you can’t event get your fingernail to slightly get under it.
@@DadTechTV ahh ok! Thank you!
Is 35 yo much
