Why do you only apply the grease to the 3 pins on the tension spring? Is it supposed to be re-distributed along the whole circumference after rotating the bezel for a couple of times?
Anyone know if that bezel ring and insert could be fitted onto a 126710 BLRO So I could turn a pepsi inot and occasioanl BLNR Batgirl, just with a red GMT hand?
@@paulb8916 Yes, it works. I wanted to have the light blue bezel like a Wildman GMT and got a replica of it on eBay, along with a replica bezel and everything fits. You just have to get a good replica bezel from a factory like Clean and it will match the genuine watch case.
Hi, why when you replaced the bezel it was turning in both directions? I thought unless otherwise stated that most bezels only rotate in the one direction anti-clockwise?
But I've had watches in the past with bezel that only go anticlockwise and although not a Rolex not cheap cheap either if you know what I mean but I certainly wouldn't want to go diving with them..
@@mattovenden8786 Just look at what is on the bezel. If it is 0-24, then it is a GMT watch which allows you to use the bezel to view the time in two different timezones at once. Therefore, the bezel would rotate in both directions. If the bezel has 0-60, then it is a dive watch that allows you to see how much time has passed since you set the bezel. These would only rotate in one direction, as it would be dangerous for a diver to accidentally spin the bezel in the wrong direction and then think that they still have 45 minutes of oxygen left (when they may only have 30 minutes left). Granted, in the modern day, divers use far more technologically advanced equipment to see how much oxygen they have left. However, people nowadays still appreciate the functionality of the dive watch bezel as it can be used for things aside from diving (cooking, measuring the time duration of random things, etc).

only dive watches have bezels that rotate in one direction (to not obscure amount of time underwater when diving)

No, I'm thinking majority of bezels only go anticlockwise, anyone else have any idea or input?
@@mattovenden8786 as already told depends on their function needs eg submariner uni directional / GMT bi directional
