    With long hair in Florida a little foam for volume at the roots and then cold air dry the roots with head upside down will give a bit of lift. Top your style with a bit of flexible hair spray and then I could get lift and style that could last 3-4 days even with the humidity! Dry shampoo powder on last day if needed

    Hello Aly! 🌷Good video-thank you! I have thin hair too. I use to have a lot of hair before and even if they were thin I was okay with that, but now when I lost like half of my hair do to hormone changes, it's very hard to style them. Exactly like your hair mine does not hold any curls-''spaghetti straight'' as I say. If it's raining outside, don't even bother -nothing will hold my hair. I was watching a lot Glam Girl Gabi, she is a hair stylist and has thin hair as well. I have learned from her how to get some volume for my hair with 90ties velcro rollers. They are not maid for curls, they have to be used to lift your hair from the roots and give you volume. Check out her videos so you will learn how to do it correctly. Other things I use as I was recommended by my hairdresser and it gives incredible volume is Buble and bumble BB thickening go big pluming treatment. I use it after washing my hair, spray on my roots and use a hairdryer. Always incredible results, if you use velcro rollers, you will get even more volume. Just try it-you can thank me later! 😉😊 Good luck with growing your hair!🌹

    I prefer the Olaplex bond smoother cream for both detangling when hair is wet and smoothing flyaways when hair is dry. Going to try the Redken products for sure. Hated the Bed Head cream. I also recommend the Kristen Ess weightless shine leave in spray, it really does what it says. The Kristen Ess fragrance free spray was no good, but I'm curious about the thickening spray. Like any brand, products are hit and miss.

    I know this video isn't about Kibbe body types, but I just thought it'd be super interesting, if you did an analysis of Brittany Murphy. If you have already, I'm sorry, I haven't seen it. But she's a difficult example. Her face looks gamine, her arms and legs look dramatic, her torso looks romantic, I couldn't say what type she'd fit into

      Don't agree with "cheap shampoo will do". Some ingredients in crap shampoo will destroy your cuticle. Hair grows from the scalp- castor oil goes on the scalp

    • @blueice011
      @blueice011 Год назад

      @@Madamchief Understand what you mean. However, cheap is not always synonym for bad. There are affordable options with pretty much the same ingredients list as some very high end ones, or with better ingredients overall. It's rather individual, but sometimes very non-organic or 'healthy' options work better for both our hair and skin. I know people who have tried huge selection of high end 'pure/organic/clean' shampoos, only to be settled with their partner's L'Oreal for men drugstore one that worked for best. In this case, it's about making Castor oil work without making hair heavy. It can be used as a mask, but it takes forever to rinse properly and many people don't have time to pamper for hours. I guess my point was that it's not imperative to purchase expensive stuff, if you use or have used affordable one that works for you. Thanks for you input.

    In my opinion, you are making this too complicated. And using way too many products. And you're not giving the velcro rollers a chance. I love them! My hair is thicker than yours, but it is fine and straight. It tends to be dry, not oily. I have a very good hairdresser and a good haircut. I get highlights in my hair to cover gray hair. I use a product called New Wash from Hairstory. It is very thick shampoo, and I don't need conditioner when I use it. I do use a hair oil called Davines OI Oil before styling. It is expensive but it lasts forever. I have sometimes used Wella shampoo and conditioner, which is what they use at my salon. So, I alternate. I often let my hair dry naturally, or blow it dry a little. I then use the velcro rollers and leave them in for several hours - at least like 3-4 hours. I find that when I do this, my hair has a lot of body, though it's not curly. I don't wash my hair that often because it does tend to be dry, but I find that the velcro rollers causes it to lay well. That's my two cents.
