Side note I heard in the video you wee talking about postpartum hair and if you want to reduce it black tea really works wonders the only downside is it could darken your hair and it can be a little drying to the hair I would recommend it no more than 2x a week if do try it all you need to do is rinse it over you head a condition your hair and boom

I love Amika shampoos and conditioners, mostly for the smell. I use the olaplex shampoos sometimes, and also the Shiseido Premium Tsubaki black line, although that is not sulphate free it was so cheap and comes in massive pump bottles so good value. I also like the shiseido tsubaki mask and fino hair oil

Great video! We have similar hair type. You should try the it’s a 10 plus keratin leave in, as well as the serum my hair has become so much healthier and shinier since incorporating those. I also adore the Pureology conditioner works so well for my hair!

I love your videos! Have you thought of using kitsch shampoo and conditioning bars for your hair they helped my scalp so much I would say to give them a try! I love using the garnier oil as well before showering!

Hello dear,
I have flaky scalp due to dryness, do I need clarifying shampoo? If ues which one? And also which shampoo is great for dry scalp and hair?
My routine is nothing lol. I wash when greasy, I put it up in updos, keep my hands out of it, only brush it in the morning and at night. No heat, no style products. My hair is shining and healthy. I grow it out by.....not cutting it unless it absolutely needs it. 😂
And THAT ladies and gentlemen, is the ACTUAL routine for long and healthy hair. Period 🔥

Love you but I don’t think you did anything wrong in how you used the Olaplex shampoo before. Clearly what mattered here is that before your scalp was more oily and now that it’s drier and a more gentle shampoo works better than the ones you were using before. I feel like that’s super normal, especially with changing weather.

Use a lightweight matte pomade, one typically sold to and targeted to men with short hair, and just use the bare minimum on top to tame the flyaways. Do this after heat styling on wash day.

Hey Audrey, I have an oily scalp and low porosity hair. Which shampoos do you recommend for my hair and scalp type?
I have the same hair type and I've found that the tresemme keratin smooth shampoo works really well for non clarifying washes and for clarifying one I've seen abbey yung recommend the pantene volume and body shampoo, supposedly its really strong but I have yet to try it. Try shampooing twice if you dont already and make sure to take your time when messaging shampoo, I've started doing that and I can go 1 more day without washing. Also make sure your washing your scalp and not just your hair, its easier to get to your scalp w nails too.

Hey! All of my hair is low porosity as well, except for the ends. So, you can use the oils I've mentioned in this video! And I recommend you only apply them to the roots. Hopefully this helps!

How long do you leave oils in for before washing it out?
Also how long do you leave Moroccan oil on before you shower. My hair is just like yours. I have straight but thick hair, and I have a very dry scalp. This video is very helpful!
About flakes, if someone have this problem, then try to use “Vichy Dercos Micro Peel Shampoo” and/or “Vichy Dercos Anti-Pelliculaire Anti-Dandruff Shampooing” I swear these are helpful! But also, it will be righteous if you consult with a dermatologist first:)

Why are you using Olaplex 0 on wet hair? The instructions say to use it on dry hair so what am I missing?
Also, still not understanding why you want to drag the oils from your scalp through the lengths of your hair. If it is in fact so you have less oils on your scalp it sounds like you need to use a better shampoo that can actually wash away the oils.
It's important to condition every time you shampoo. I've discovered that applying a good amount of conditioner to my hair, and then covering my hair with a shower cap while I finish my shower, gives my hair a lot of time to condition. I bet that if you do that your hair will not only be conditioned but will absolutely shine!
