Hi! Love you vids, but i have a question: its a store that sells something called a mysterbag where u get like many random things, and i got a blow dry cream, its prob cheap but Can i use it Even if its cheap? And when u shower before bed and i have pretty long hair so it takes long time to blow, Can i just leave it in overnight?
I asked all these questions last week and this week you answered them for us. Thank you for the most honest and realistic approach to hair on social media!

@pipsquikepablo I meant 6. I had to stop using the shampoo and conditioner because my hair was coming out in clumps. I'm not exaggerating. I am using briogeo now, and my hair is growing back in.

It makes me feel better that you said leave in conditioners should be a spray. I’ve always hated using leave in creams on my hair whether I leave it in its natural curly state or when I blow dry and straighten. I feel like it’s too heavy and weighs by hair down. Would also really love to see you do a collab with a pro on naturally curly hair.
I wish SO badly I had found Blowout Professor's videos two years ago. I had cut my long hair I had worked years to grow out in hopes to get some life back into my hair.I had loved my length but it just looked sooo damaged and sad, I thought only doing the "chop" would help. But of course 2 years later my hair was still dry and lifeless and seemed to grow slower than ever. After watching your video on the holy trinity I added two things to my hair routine, leave in conditioner , and hair oil. My hair came to LIFE!! SO SO SOOO THANKFUL for your information and I cant wait to change out some of my products to find the right matches to get even better results in my hair journey! THANK YOU SO MUCH CHRIS AND TEAM!
Using the Pureology Leave-In, the Redken Blowout Jelly and a drop or two of Olaplex (after my hair is dry) has been a game-changer for my fine, silver hair! Thank you so much! ❤
@@indigogirl8573 I do, yes. I use the Redken Volume Injection Shampoo & Conditioner to wash/condition in the shower. Afterwards, I use about 1 1/2 drops of the Olaplex on my ends.

Another helpful tip if you have the olaplex oil. If you hold the bottle upside down you can tap on the bottom according to the exact amount of drops you want out. You don’t have to shake it to get the product out like I originally thought.
I have been on a healthy hair journey for WAY too long! I always thought I didn’t need hair oil since I’m naturally a bit oily on my scalp. Literally felt the difference in my hair after the first time using oil on my mids/ends!! Way more shine, way smoother, and way less tangles! THANK YOU!!
Your advice has changed my hair. It’s smooth now, which is amazing considering how fried dried and frizzy my hair is. I stopped washing daily and I never wear my hair “naked” without leave in conditioning. Thank you sooo much!! You are so awesome!
I have extremely thick and frizzy hair that techinally doesn't need washing at all, no oil is released from my scalp whatsover. Whether I wash once a month or not for six months doesn't matter. I wash every six weeks now, but thinking about stopping the washes. My hair which is halfway gray because of age and very long gets super stressed after every wash and takes weeks to calm down. How often are you washing now? With my hairtype there really is no point to washing, is all I can say. I only do it because I feel that I "have" to do it sometimes. It doesn't even come to a point of itching. Would love to wash it everyday when I shower, and feel the water on my scalp, but if I did that, I can't even imagine the damage. My boyfriend that has fine Finnish smooth hair was grossed out when he found out how rarely I wash. I explained to him that it's this way or short hair and he didn't comment on it anymore 😅 He also can confirm to me that it doesn't smell or get oily and it looks very healthy. I'm always getting compliments. My hair just loves being left alone, except for leave in conditioner and hair oil and brushing. And after each wash straightening also. And it's in a loose braid almost always and protected under hats and jackets 8 months out of every year.

Thank you for going so in-depth on the "why" behind your advice. So informative and interesting! I recently cut off over 10" - went from long hair to a fabulous "lob". I am trying out a bunch of new products (several from. your list!), and am struggling with how to best apply/use them on my much-shorter hair. Your models in this video were all long hair/one length. This was excellent. I am using your recommended products, but I was definitely using too much blow dry cream. I also think I need a bit less than the recommended amount of leave-in conditioner on my very fine hair. Thanks!

Backstory; my blonde, middle of my back, fine hair was chemically chopped off a couple of yrs ago, and I haven't been able to grow it past my earlobes since (mostly in the front). It's heart breaking; my hair has always been my staple. I've been wearing tape-in hair extensions to fill in the gaps. I also removed those a couple of days ago. I do not like how my hair looks (length, uneven) but it feels liberating not to have them stuck to my head. Anyway... I really feel hopeful with your suggestions. I spent 6 hours with a hairdresser months ago. She damaged my hair so much because she could not make the colour right. After that, I spent months hiding my hair using a pony tail. I found your channel and just purchased items to treat my hair. For some reason, you gave me hope. Thank you for your videos. Much appreciated.

Love your videos. I’ve always been really good with doing my own hair and using various brushes and products. I didn’t really think I needed to learn more, But after watching your videos there was so much I didn’t know. Having a good hair day always makes a girl feel fabulous so thank you for helping me learn how to make that happen more often!
Hi Chris! Thank you for all the grate information you share! You have changed my hair in just two weeks. I suffer alopecia so I use a topper everyday and I didn’t take a proper care of my hair. Lately do to vitamins my own hair has grown and I star to follow your instructions. I bought a good Redken shampoo and wash my hair properly, then the leave in conditioner and oil just on ends. I cannot believe how smooth my hair is now! Thanks!!!
Since watching your videos, and reviewing your recommended product list, little by little I started changing the way I treated my hair. First let me say that I’m in my 60’s and haven’t been very kind to my hair since I was about 50. So, I figured what the heck, nothing to lose and everything to gain, and started first with changing my brush and using Pureology Leave-In spray and noticed the difference right away. 🙂 Then I added Olaplex oil (just recently - only one application so far). But, in this video you said to apply to dry hair. Uh oh, I thought you had said to apply it after the leave-in spray…while my hair was still wet. Yes, I know, in the video you were applying it to dry, styled air, so I’m a dummy! Lol 99% of the time I let my hair air dry, as it is just below my shoulders and has some curl and wave to it, but when it's dry I'm usually not home, so applying the oil isn't the easiest thing to do. BUT - since your advice has been working so far (also just purchased the recommended shampoo), I’m changing up my routine to allow time to apply the oil before leaving the house. So glad I watched this video - thank you Chris!! I'm living proof that you really CAN teach an old dog new tricks!
My hair is looking so good from the leave in conditioner you recommended. I’m waiting for the other products. Just wanted to tell you!. I’m in my 60s and my hair is changing. I was so happy today.❤️🐩👍
Love the tips, as usual, but having porous hair unfortunately doesn't allow me to "go light" on oil, haha. I apply it like 2, 3 times a day, and thermal/shine spray when finishing a section after using the rotating brush. Blowdry creams are my favorite, coarse hair girl here, haha. However, Rebel Tame didn't give the results I wanted. I prefer applying the leave in from Redken Extreme Bleach Recovery, plus a heat protecting oil, Ciment Thermique from Kerastase, or Trauma Treatment from L'anza.
Thanks for the how-to! I’m learning so much from your channel and I appreciate your approach. When I’m in a salon and a stylist explains what to do, I get it intellectually, but it’s only at home trying where I really learn. Your videos help.
I’m obsessed with your videos! You’re the reason I’ve completely changed my products. Please could you advise on how to get that ‘glass’ look. Basically the glossy hair that the Kardashians’ have! I use all the products but feel my hair still doesn’t looks ‘glossy’. Thank you
Exactly the video I wad looking for! I just bought most of the products you recommend for blonde hair but I was wondering how I use them correctly. Thank you!
I don't use any of the products from the list.... My favorite hair spray Is the R+Co Outer space because it's very light weight and doesn't leave a sticky residue This hair spray lasted me for 2 years..... I just bought some blow dry cream from Walmart and I am happy with the results... The blow dry cream I bought is Not Your Mother's Blow Dry Cream...... And the hair oil I use is the Sweet Almond hair oil
I just ordered your recommended products for my hair type. I’m watching your technique videos too. I’ll put it all together and report back. Thank you!
These videos are great and so helpful!! I just bought all the products you suggest from shampoo to hair oil and can't wait to try them. Many thanks Chris!! 😊
I love your videos, I took your advice stopped bleaching my hair and used the redken hair repair product, I already had professional shampoo and conditioner and I added the olaplex and I could see a difference in my hair after only one treatment with my treatment, hair mask, leave in treatment and the hair oil, I have been washing my hair everyday not knowing any better bc that's what I was taught, so I bought the shower cap with the terry lining and am starting my 3 days from wash starting today I'll definitely update you on the progress and I'm already seeing the progress I was fortunate enough to keep pretty healthy hair even tho I was washing drying and straightening it everyday, but I was already doing the mask and leave in conditioner with a different oil so I can't wait to see how healthy it's going to get bc it is already shiny and beautiful and I know this will just make it healthier. I love my hair and have always been big on hair care and am so thankful to you and your channel

I have to use the olaplex leave in or my hair is frizzy I use that and the pureology spray and the color wow. My hair is curly. i get so many compliments. It doesn't weigh it down.
Thank you for your advice, making my hair looks so good and now I have to clean out so many junk of hair products and were never good for my hair 🤣 Chris not only have you help me get healthier hair 👍🏽 but I’ll spent less money 💵
I asked Chris this same question as I was unsure of this one of the volume one and he said the ABC is too heavy for fine hair and he recommended the pink bottle.
Have recently discovered your channel...impressed by your explanations...so, I have subscribed ( and am currently trying to binge watch). I have "old Gray mare hair" 😂and am struggling with managing it. I'm thinking some of your suggestions will make a huge difference 🤞or hoping so anyway. I've never, let me stress that NEVER, had issues with my hair until it started to go gray. It's the curse of salt & pepper hair, I guess. The "pepper" hair is okay...the "salt" not so much. Winter weather is not helping either...so, I'm trusting that with your suggestions and the return of Spring I can figure out my hair issues. Thanks for great videos and wish me luck! 🤗
I like what I'm hearing, thank you. Though it's so expensive to go to the hairdresser's these days. So I try doing it myself. I'm half Jewish/African and have very long thick hair/ lots of hair/curly wavy. So it's a mission for me but my hair type can do any style I want to. Wish you had a chain of hair dressing shops in the UK. You look strong enough and knowledgeable to handle my hair type. Will try your products.

Just loved all your tips! Can you cover thin, mature short styles, and products. Also how to use products when you have to use hair fibers. That would be so helpful. You have such detailed important tips and the way you present them is FABULOUS!!TY
Yes that is me too. Fine, thin and
brittle
Hope you will one day ..maybe...give some advice about peri-menopausal/ menopausal hair for us ladies of a certain age..our hair does change and mine is finer now than when i was a lot younger and naturally going grey( i won't ever dye it!)..just a quick video using an appropriate age model would be brilliant!
I really appreciate your simple approach to hair and how to explain everything. So easy to follow and really helps!
I can swear the blowout profesor has saved my hair..i've been using a ton of products with little results..now that i am following the hair routine for coarse hair..ive been seeing results..even in the crown where my hair has a lot of breakeage because of a bad keratin treatment and a very heavy decoloration..thank you..maybe i Will go to your salon one Day.. hugs from Panama city..Panama.
I just went and bought all the products you recommended for my highlighted hair and OMG!! my hair looks AMAZING. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR TIPS AND TRICKS.
Hi! Do you mind sharing those tips or share which video he talks about this?
I also have bleached/highlighted hair & want to repair it.
Thank you 😊
Amazing, i purchased your recommended products and applied as also recommended and in one wash i already got compliments on my now shiny long hair, just subscribed and have told everyone that listens about your channel. THANK YOU all the way from down under 🇦🇺
I have followed you step-by-step with your TikTok and your videos and my hair looks amazing. I bought all the products use them properly you are Hair God. I will be coming to your salon in Tampa one day and I will introduce you to myself. My name is Cindy and I came from Manhattan. I live in Clearwater now and I used to go to red door and then I changed over to another salon and never have a head. Any one help me the way you do you’re amazing don’t stop you don’t lie you tell the truth.
thanks for the video, i have a tendency to spray the conditioner closer because i always end up spraying it in the air or my face/ arm if i’m too far 😂 i’ll try this since i’m working out today and washing my hair ~ have a good day
Spray it into your hands then distribute it to your hair evenly and brush it
Love your videos.
Then I added Olaplex oil (just recently - only one application so far). But, in this video you said to apply to dry hair. Uh oh, I thought you had said to apply it after the leave-in spray…while my hair was still wet. Yes, I know, in the video you were applying it to dry, styled air, so I’m a dummy! Lol
99% of the time I let my hair air dry, as it is just below my shoulders and has some curl and wave to it, but when it's dry I'm usually not home, so applying the oil isn't the easiest thing to do. BUT - since your advice has been working so far (also just purchased the recommended shampoo), I’m changing up my routine to allow time to apply the oil before leaving the house. So glad I watched this video - thank you Chris!! I'm living proof that you really CAN teach an old dog new tricks!
I don't know if your advice works but you are so handsome and nice to look at 😊
Use both? Leave in Conditioner and Blowdry Cream?? Confused?
Love this video. Very helpful and I am loving the leave in conditioner..
What kind of oil treatments do you recommend I hear coconut oil is good to use what’s your opinion
These videos are very helpful.
There is so much of hair products out there sometimes we don't what to buy...and ended up spending alot of money..
Could you make a video on managing hair for people who use minoxidil because it leaves residue. Thanks!
Your hair wisdom is much appreciated ❤😊
Thanks for the how-to! I’m learning so much from your channel and I appreciate your approach. When I’m in a salon and a stylist explains what to do, I get it intellectually, but it’s only at home trying where I really learn. Your videos help.
Thank you for the information. My hair has been so much better since I found your channel.
So helpful, thank you! Could you do a follow up regarding products in second (or 3+) day hair? For example, can you do another coat of hairspray?
Thank you so much! I'm learning a lot! 🙂 ❤❤❤❤❤
So when do u put Olaplex 6 on the hair? Before or after the blow dry cream but before the oil?
I believe, the Olaplex 6 serves as a blow dry cream. At least that is how I use it.
I’m obsessed with your videos! You’re the reason I’ve completely changed my products. Please could you advise on how to get that ‘glass’ look. Basically the glossy hair that the Kardashians’ have! I use all the products but feel my hair still doesn’t looks ‘glossy’. Thank you
They are wigs don’t be fooled another hair dresser some where said they all wear wigs and it makes sense
This is one of the best hair videos I have ever watch, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, you are amazing!!!
I like the Ref leave in conditioner but your suggestions have truly made a difference!!!
Binge watching these. Amazing honest content x
Exactly the video I wad looking for! I just bought most of the products you recommend for blonde hair but I was wondering how I use them correctly. Thank you!
Thank you. I appreciate the concise delivery of information.
Can you suggest alternative products that are available internationally?
thank you! this answers a lot of questions i had
Please cover dry gray hair. I love your videos!
I just ordered your recommended products for my hair type. I’m watching your technique videos too. I’ll put it all together and report back. Thank you!
What's the verdict?💟
So helpful. I've been applying products all wrong all these years.
Same
These videos are great and so helpful!!
I have curly hair and have been obsessed with hair care. I gathered more information in 3 of your videos that in the last 25 years from
Other sources. Thank you 😊
You are doing great . Have learnt alot from your videos. Thank you for sharing 👏
Thank you for this video! I got a leave in for color treated hair, I followed the instructions and my hair felt gross 😭 I had to rewash my hair. I will try again soon
Your videos are fabulous! But I was wondering do you have any thoughts about Monat products?
Thankyou for all the information you have given me.I now use professional shampoo and conditioner and other products you have recommended. Thanks for all your advice.
HE'LL Chris I have been watching your videos and I must say I've learned quite a bit even about washing my own hair 😅 I have bleached blonde 👱♀️ hair which shampoo would you recommend to get volume and maintain my hair healthy. I hope you get to see my comment. Thank s for the good lessons about hair in your videos I just wish that you had your salon here in Rhode Island . I'm a fan of you.
love your advices. Can you tell something about keratin hair treatment?
Please do a curly hair routine. I have dry curly hair that don’t seem to hold moisture. I do use curl smith shampoo and conditioner with leave in and oil after. It seems to help but I’m not seeing the results I want. Any advice would be amazing. I struggle so much with my hair.
Another dry curly and coarse texture here! My hair has been so dry and frizzy! Nothing works and products that used to work no longer work 😣
You are my favorite hair guy!!!
I have really good results by diluting leave in cream conditioner and putting it in a fine spray bottle with a drop of hair oil
Thoughts on redken acidic bonding shampoo and conditioner for medium and fine hair? :)
I asked Chris this same question as I was unsure of this one of the volume one and he said the ABC is too heavy for fine hair and he recommended the pink bottle.
So helpful! I've been wondering about just this thing!
You give great advice. Thank you
Great, thanks! Please do the "advanced class" which you mentioned.
Chris you are awesome!!! Thank you so much for all the valuable advice. You do make a difference! Please open a hair salon in Greece!!! 🇬🇷
So helpful 🙏🏻
Thanks for these advices. But then should you use leave in treatments and how ?
Thank you so much for sharing!
So do you use both leave-in conditioner as well as hair oil at the same time?
Will definitely look you up if ever I come to Florida, thank you for Educating us Professor
this man is a genius! Amazing advice, always!
Thank you for the great product use tips!
Would love recommendations on unscented products 🙏
Does voluming shampoo really work? I have fine hair. Thanks. Great video
Please suggest for dandruff
Thanks for the tips…I was doing a few things incorrectly…I can’t wait to try these!
Best video yet! Thank you!
Thank you!!! love your videos and my hair is looking so much better now!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts 🙏 can you suggest cruelty free products as well.
When you say hair oil do you mean only oils that say for hair? Not like coconut/grapeseed etc that are just cold pressed? Thank you!
And depends on the length of your hair. I have short coarse curly hair.
