    One of your secret ingredients for popularity is you say things like, “it’s hard enough to …”. You sympathize, understand, and don’t talk to us like we’re idiots when advertisers constantly lie or leave out necessary instructions. You don’t lower eye lid, raise an eyebrow, look down on us, and have that bored superior voice we’ve all met in the salon chair. You’re an educator, human, even admit your own bloopers and willing to repeat information for those of us that missed a video or, like me needs a repeat before the lights come on. How refreshing! This is definitely why I like his videos. I hate going to the salon because every time it feels like the hairdresser is roasting me instead of giving tips trying to help me. That's why I haven't been to a salon since 2010. Also the last hairdresser botched my hair when I was going through a very bad time in my life, so I'm not sure if I'll ever get over it.

      In a different video about washing hairbrushes he tells a super long story that is basically that a client hadn’t ever washed her brush and that’s what was making her hair greasy when she did it at home and instead of acting like she’s gross for that he said he was bummed because he realized HE had failed to teach her that she needed to do that, so he goes out of his way to be sympathetic and understanding with us!

Within a few weeks my hair has improved about 70% (maybe it would be 100% but I'm finishing the shampoo and conditioner I have before purchasing your recommendation). I'm 60 and I used a ton of products previous to this just to get my hair to look fairly OK. Now I wash my hair twice a week and only use your trifecta and oil in the morning: no mousse, no texturizer, no spray. It looks longer and is more swingy and bouncy. Thanks!

      howdy! im honestly just commenting my experience bc chris has created a safe community fr. i found chris less than a week ago, and my hair has already changed it’s life. the first time i ever watched his videos, i learned about the trinity wash, and i IMMEDIATELY jumped in the shower after going to walmart to get a shea moisture hair mask, and garnier oil and a leave in conditioner (since i was only using shampoo and conditioner at the time). with lower end products/drugstore brands, my hair had still never felt better or cleaner. i was able to go almost an entire week without washing my fine hair! i decided that next payday i’d go ahead and buy some olaplex, a hair mask, and the trinity box for fine hair. i really think i’ve met some of my hair care soulmates! olaplex 3 was a lifesaver for my hair, along with the moroccanoil hydrating mask!

I have wasted so much money to only end up with my hair frizzing and looking like a puff ball - I would put product upon product on it, leaving it looking greasy and nasty. Anyway I followed ur direction and my hair looks and feels AMAZING!!!! I went out last night - even danced and it did not frizz - I woke up and it still looks great. THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU!!! seriously my hair was the bane of my existence - it never cooperated. Since I can’t go to the salon every week I would cover it with a hat or put it up. I'm actually allergic to parabens. I was so itchy and rashy. Took an allergy patch test, and it was just parabens. It's really common to be a sensitive ingredient. The derm explained that some people develop allergies to sensitive ingredients over time with excessive use. Thankfully most products don't use parabens anymore. But I'm more careful about ingredients now since my skin is sensitive and I'd like to avoid developing more allergies. Pretty common issue too.

Wasn't sure what to blame...however I really really NOW think I was using products with what I thought was a heat protectent....but it wasn't...and now I can see tons of breakage...tons...I at first blamed it on the hard water...being post menopausal etc ....I don't think so anymore...my hair is totally damaged.
    I have been obsessed with your videos and am working on a healthy hair routine. I hope I can Restore my hair. Thank you for your channel.

    I have 4B/4A hair, I made the switch to Redken! Using Redken extreme….holy shit I saw results in the first wash with that amazing mask and Leave in! It literally improved breakage and elasticity within the first wash. Also followed your recommendation to use Olaplex N7 bonding oil! AMAZING!!!! Love love love. My blowouts look amazing and my hair is actually Way healthier now than it was with any other product!

I will use less. Also recommend that people wear a shirt or a robe when spraying this I ended with a rash on my chest and arms from product irritation.

    This man’s videos helped my hair do a 180 in weeks. 🎉❤. The heat protection helped the protein and moisture remain in my hair and save the cuticle. Also, the leave-in conditioner and blow out cream recommendations from him for my type of hair was the best. The woman at the beauty store warned against it, and thankfully, I bought it anyway.

      In response to why that young woman warned me about the thermal spray: It was because she didn’t have a clue how to use it. She said it makes your hair hard and sticky, well, just like this guy said in the video, yes, it will do that - if you spray a ton of it too close to your hair! Spray it 6 inches or so from your hair. She admitted to not wanting to read the product labels, too, and was not a hair dresser or any sort of expert.
      I never had clip-ins, so I have no advice on that, but maybe this guy does. However, with those, I’d be concerned about causing stress on the hair follicles. I realize sometimes people use them to have the appearance of thicker hair, but I would be concerned about the long-term risks over short-term gain. Sometimes cut, styling and product options are a better way to go. If they are for lengthening your hair, remember that the grass is always greener. Lol. Again, cut, style and product can help you while you grow it out, and even make it more fun, to enjoy what you have, etc.

    Honestly I've just started watching your videos, and a lot of products you keep mentioning are new to me. I have no idea how to use them or what they do, so maybe if you did like a whole product list and how to use them it would be nice and easier for beginners to understand. Like I honestly did not know that you had to apply oil to your ends other than your roots. Other than that your videos are amazing and they taught me a lot of stuff I didn't know before!

    After watching some of your video's I've got rid of all my off the shelf (useless gunky eventually very oily after a couple of days) shampoo and conditioner and hair products and am now just using exactly what you recommend, I'm trying to grow my hair and have cherry picked the olaplex range for 3 and 6 along with the oil and am waiting patiently for the leave in conditioner and am only using 1 Redken shampoo with matching conditioner. Also using a detoxifying shampoo once a month as my hair is fine and curly also colour it too but blowdry it straight. Its been a long time since my hair has felt so incredible and I get more than 3 days from my blow-dry. Can't thank you enough. Was kinda lost because there's so much out there in the market its so confusing. Refocused my regime with fantastic results.. Thank you my hair now feels so healthy using quality products

  • @JuliePoole
    @JuliePoole Год назад +3

    I love your advice, and it does really work,my hair has improved hugely since I follow your trilogy treatment, but I struggle with sulfates, silicones and parabens. My scalp will itch, my hair will shed and I just cant use them. Even the very expensive stuff my hairdresser gave me, had my hair shedding and scalp itching after 3 weeks. Had to go in bin! That was Redken. The only product you recommend without them is the Moroccan shampoo but that is too heavy for my hair. It was great when I was fixing my dry hair, but now it is fixed, i need something lighter. I have gone to Boldplex trilogy which is working. Please recommend some parabens sulfates silicone etc free shampoo and conditioners.

      Some people are allergic to those ingredients. I'm going to go back and test products that are free of those ingredients so I can give you a good answer. But it's probably going to take a few months. Are there any websites with a list of shampoos without these ingredients so I don't have to read the ingredients of every single shampoo? That would speed things up

    He saved my life on explaining how to use thermal heat protectant correctly because I was one of those girls who tried it (the wrong way) and I hated the way it made my hair feel. I straighten it a lot and without heat protectant for a long while. I'm so happy he explained it because it kept my hair straight for 5 days and really helped get me to 5-7 days in between washing and styling. A great tip I've also gotten was to remove all excess water before applying conditioner.
