I cannot thank you enough. My hair is healthy and growing. It is (still) the longest it's ever been. I'm passing mid back length and going strong. Thank you for the solid advice❤
Started following the trinity on natural graying dry fine straight hair & my hair is the best it’s ever been. Went so against everything I ever did to my hair including very light wash to not dry out, extra heavy conditioners & mask, oil, etc. now double wash typically 1 x a week but live in tropical climate - hot & humid - so maybe 2x in summer. Having been an admitted professional hair care junkie for life this routine has been life changing but still have to remind myself to step away from the hair products aisle.
It is a tiny bit misleading. All soap is made of oil and alkali. That's what soap is. Back in the day, they would mix melted animal fat with quick lime or ashes from the fireplace and boom, soap. So, I guess it depends on the formulation more than the ingredients.
Hi Chris! What products (shampoo or otherwise) is the best for curing really frizzy hair? I have naturally frizzy hair (was born with it. I never use heat) and it’s super annoying. Nothing I try works and want to get your opinion on it. Btw, ❤ the video

So often these days the existence of so many choices for everything from seltzer to cereal to haircare products causes so much decision fatigue I end up just dropping everything from my carts into amazon save for later and reexamine in the morning when I do my best high level thinking. I don't buy from Amazon on items many times because of counterfeit products being mentioned a number of times in the reviews. But at least it's all in one place until I order. 😵💫🙄💡😃
I am *obsessed* with the ultralight, saturating hair oil from Sisley. I have incredibly fine hair, nearly bald PCOS-cancer remission hair. I’m almost 60 & my hair barely has any grey. But there are a few strands that are entirely a different, more duty texture than my arrow-straight dark hair. I shampoo gently. I use a length conditioner, towel dry lightly, then I use a scalp serum & ends oil. Then a slight misting if leave-in yo hold it back gently. People might sneer that I use Sisley hair oil, but it is soo much less sticky & thick that I can distribute it
Pureology hydrate WAS my shampoo soulmate, absolute ride or die until they reformulated it a few years ago to be “clean” 😖 and my hair suddenly turned to dry tangly straw. i haven’t been able to find anything that works for my hair since 💔
Did you by chance happen to accidentally grab the “sheer” hydrate that’s formulated without silicones? Because my hair needs silicones…lol I know pureology has the sheer hydrate and the regular now
For all-soft shampoo look at the ingredient list. Oil is like at position 30. There's like a single drop of it in the whole bottle for marketing purpose. It should not be a pro - or a cons for that shampoo.
Exactly. To be honest he is more oriented to Caucasian thin hair. I’m Latina with thick curly hair and all soft is my HG. My hair is on my waist and super healthy! It def works fo me wonders!
I also bought this after Chris' recommendations and it has changed my life! SO much easier to style my hair, I can then go whole 7 days without washing it and my style will last, ready to wash and style again for the next weekend! Absolute game changer x
@@DrDre999 I had to wash my fringe every day and hair every other day. Now I can go every 5 days!👍🏻 My father was a professional hairdresser back in the 60's and 70's, until I was under his care my hair was great. He used the same technique for washing heads (not hair). Then I had to go to other hairdressers, when dad retired and got bad advice most of the times 😬
On the recommended product list, there’s only volumizing shampoo products for fine hair, but sometimes I just want a basic cleansing shampoo and not so volumizing, what would be the recommendation for that?
Loving your videos! I’ve just started following your advice about how to shampoo (Yep I was one of those dim people who was doing it wrong) and have already noticed a difference. I can now go 4 days in between washes which is amazing for my fine hair. I’d love to see a video on what extra steps (if any) need to be taken in the summer to protect your hair when getting in and out of a pool.
I really like the Redkin shampoo with argan oil. I can actually go longer between showers using this product compared to other shampoo. My hair doesn’t get as greasy as quickly when I use it. 🤷♀️
No because you literally use conditioner to replace the oil you strip, your scalp over produces oil if you keep scrubbing it off. Also like attracts like, you can use oil to cleanse skin, you basically remove the old sweaty sebum but don’t strip your scalp of any oil it has ever produced.
@@ashleyroman I’m so sorry, my comment seems to have been misinterpreted. I’m saying like no because, you are right and I am agreeing with you that your hair doesn’t get as greasy quick when you use a shampoo that isn’t so stripping Again so sorry if I upset you I literally meant the opposite - a shampoo with oil could work well.
@@icewaterforblood Oh my gosh, now I feel rude! I’m sorry please disregard my last comment, I definitely misinterpreted what you said. I’m glad someone else understands where I’m coming from. 😊
I was a Biolage girly … but now I use Alterna Caviar … I’d like you to review that it’s pricey but it seems to be really good. My hair feels cleaner than anything I’ve used.
I have been using the kerastase resistance line and I have fine hair. Can you please review the kerastase line. At my local salon my hairdresser used wella and she said it’s the best. Can you review Wella as well please. Thank you ❤
I feel like there’s a lot of mixed opinions on the Olaplex shampoo.. I actually love it. My hair is very fine, but I have a lot of it and it’s very long. I bought the Redken Volume Injection and tried my best to wash my hair like I was at the salon, and it seemed very clean but my hair was also like.. too lightweight? My hair felt super fine and lightweight, but that did not translate to volume, despite also trying all the blow dry techniques and products. It got oily within 2 days. I went back to Olaplex shampoo, alternating with Ouai detox shampoo every once in awhile and I think that’s really the magic cocktail for my hair to have some grit and body to it. I know the bond repair aspect of the shampoo is a stretch, but I do feel like it somehow gives my hair some volume while also getting it super clean.
My hair is much nicer and grows like crazy (and healthy!) when I wash frequently. I can do daily or every two days. My hair is not dry, it's shiny and healthy. I grew out my virgin hair and it's so amazing!
Oh, that was just MEAN! 😂. I did do the hair quiz and get my shampoo soulmates, but I was waiting to be publicly vindicated by seeing you put my soulmate on the A Tier! Gotta say, though, the Leslie voices from offscreen are as awesome as the Christina cameos. Thank you both!
I wish I would have found your channel months ago, when I purchased Biolage volumizing shampoo and conditioner. I would definitely put it in the D category. The only plus, it smells really nice. Thanks, Chris for another informing video.
Same! I wish I'd found this channel years ago, I would have saved so much money and frustration on products! I wasn't a fan of the Biolage, either. But like you said, at least it smells good, lol!
Redken volume injection is my favourite, gets my hair all the way clean. All soft is nice occasionally, but causes build up if used too much. The Redken all soft argan oil is SUPERB though, far far better than olaplex or moroccanoil treatment oils by far. Olaplex shampoo RUINED my hair. Made it very dry, static, and my hair shed HUGELY. It should be in the VERY bottom tier.
Great informative video Chris, I know Redkin is your fav, but I only buy Cruelty free, so please tell me your choice for thin, fine, dry color treated blond hair, please, Thank you so much.
Hey there! It's crazy when you think about how many years I've been struggling with my hair and how many videos I've seen on youtube where girls with long hair explain how it would be better for your hair, but I found a man without hair who explains so simply! My hair is damaged, falls out a lot, oily, does not grow and I have tried everything. I will try to stick to the routine you said. I will wash my hair 2 times a week and do a deep clean once a week, but I also want to do an oil treatment for scalp once a week so that my hair stays stronger and healthier. The question is, can I use an oil treatment on the day I deep clean my hair before that?
Hii❤️ Can you please teach us, what to do, when we try not to wash our hair too often, but we go regularly to gym and sweat?… I have very thin and fragile hair.. washing them daily due gym is very damaging.. do you have any advice for us? 🥺🥺 Thank you so much in advance ❤️
Thanks to you I found Redken Volume Injection shampoo. You have not spoken much about conditioners but I gather that's because they are all the same? Thank you for yet another great video!!
You've massively stepped up your video game! It doesn't escape me how much work and creativity went into this content. On top of that, the content is still solid. The editing was excellent and the graphics were fun and enjoyable. I have one question regarding the Moroccanoil Moisture Repair still only for coarse hair? Thank you for these videos, I've learned and laughed alot. If I'm ever in your city I'm definitely coming in for a blow out!
I love your videos! They’re so educational and have completely changed my hair game. Could you please make a video on Kersatase products, it’ll be very helpful. Thank you 😊
We need this series for other hair products. Leave-in conditioners please 🙏 I can’t get the pureology one in my country, so I would like to know about others.
I have a couple questions- I received your list of products and since I air dry my hair the majority of the time, is it best to use the IGK or can I use the redken volume injection? I just want to make sure I am getting the right products. Also, have you heard or tried the Colleen Rothschild products? I’ve watched a RUclips person talk about them and rave. I did order the whole system before I found your channel. They are okay. Not sure how I feel about them yet. And I have the kerstase oil. Is that comparable to the olaplex? I want to say thank you for making it simple for healthy hair. I have a product graveyard under my sink in the bathroom. For years I kept trying the curly girl method and kept buying more and more products hoping they would become my “ holy grail”. And honestly, sometimes it was just too many steps and too many products. Thank you and have a great day!!
I love your videos, thank you! Could you please recommend products for air drying fine thin hair that is also type 2 b/c curly? I don’t want to constantly wear my hair straight by blow drying it but also don’t want to use the diffuser to make my curls. It dries out pretty naturally but all the curl creams I’ve got make my hair look bad the next day. Since I’ve been dying my hair it is also quite porous so even after I blow dry it, it gets very puffy and almost never smooth. I use high quality products usually but unfortunately still have not been able to get my hair where I want it to be… but I’ve been following your hair care recommendations and can say the quality of the hair has improved and hair stays clean longer :) thank you!
I appreciate all the education and experience you share on your videos. Could you talk about what to do with bleached/ dry hair in dry climates? I live in low humidity and have been been using the products and practices you talk about and my hair still looks dry and dull. My hair is always much healthier looking in more humid climates. Thank you!!
Hi! Amazing video. Could you make something like this but with another brands like Loreal professionel, Kerastase and Tigi? Brands like Redken or Pureology are not available in Argentina.
Thank you for the suggestions Chris! 😁 Most of the shampoos that are available have unnecessary fragrance in them though. Can you make a video about some of the best fragrance free shampoos, like the SEEN brand, please?
@DebbieTDP I didn't think he did. I was just saying that, in general, most shampoos that are on the market, and the ones he has on his recommended products list, contain fragrance in the ingredients.
I tried the Redken Volume Injection shampoo and conditioner, Olaplex No. 3 and Redken Big Blowout, on your recommendation. For the first time in years my thin, fine, super dry hair looks shiny, no frizz and has a bit more volume ❤
Genuine question. Doesn’t all the Moroccan oil shampoos have oil in them? I keep wanting to try the all soft from redken because the bulk sizes are much cheaper than Moroccan oil but you say it’s not good because of the oil, but the moroccan moisture repair shampoo also has oil. I have coarse hair so I’m thinking all soft may actually be good for my hair. I confusion
I agree, I try to leave all that extra stuff out of my shampoos and focus solely on scalp cleansing. What I like to do if I want to incorporate moisturizer or oils is to lightly spritz Shu Uemura Izumi Tonic Strengthening Rice Water Treatment to my length and ends in-between my wash days to add moisture and seal that in with your favorite daily oil. This product is expensive, but if you find your hair getting dry in-between wash days, this might help someone out there. This product is also good to lightly spray in your scalp. If it is too expensive, I feel like any purified water will do. A light spritz won't even undo my style (I straighten and curl with heat)
this is the exact combo i feel may work for me omg😭 do you use a leave in conditioner after the shower? or does the redkin all soft conditioner just do the job?
I honestly don’t like anything with shea or argan oil because it irritates my skin. Coconut oil doesn’t penetrate the hair shaft either and just sits on top which weighs my hair down but it still ends up dry and frizzy. My friend is very allergic to nuts and this argan oil and shea trend has made her break out so bad since they are both from tree nuts. She has a hard time finding stuff she can use these days that actually work well for her hair.
Do it!! It's made all the difference for me & It's the most recent advice I took & I should have done it 1st. WTH was I thinking not starting with this????
I’ve followed your advice regarding the Morrocan Oil Repair Shampoo (and conditioner) for my course, long hair. While I like the products well enough, I simply find them too expensive to use since my husband uses whatever I buy. I know there’s a healthy profit margin in there, and it’s unfortunate that sellers price themselves right out of the market. 😤
Can't you just tell him not to use your expensive stuff if he isn't going to pay for it? Unless you do similar things with his expensive consumables. An easy solution would be to store your expensive products in an area separate from the bathroom and to only bring them with you when you intend to use them.
If he's going to use the same shampoo as you, put it in your household grocery budget rather than your personal care spending. If you need to cut back on other areas then find savings for grocery items you'll both compromise on.
I tried sleeping with a silk cap & my hair was flat the next morning. Wish you wood give suggestions for baby fine hair. The redken has helped but my hair still doesn't have volume
Hi! I am finding your videos very informative. I would like to ask you what is your opinion on the Curly Method. Not Lorraine Massey's original movement, but the "modified" one which includes cowashes or delicate low-poo without aggressive sulphates (such as sodium laureth sulfate, sodium lauryl sulfate) and the use of a purifier at every certain wash. Do you find it valid?
I brought this up before, but I’m still curious. If Redken All-Soft isn’t recommended because it contains oil, why is Moroccanoil shampoo suggested even though it also has oil in it? Could you please clarify?
I am so glad he explained this to me. I’m guilty of buying most of them. ESP the extreme length! He recommended the redken volume in the light pink bottle. This has not disappointed! These videos are funny as well. I love this channel
I use shampoo bars, not any liquids anymore. I wonder what your opinion is on some of those. Since using shampoo bars, I have noticed that my hair feels healthier. I DID NOT just start using those to eliminate plastic bottles, but that is a bonus of using a bar instead of a liquid shampoo.
I was really intrigued by those as well, I don't know anyone personally that's used them, but the reviews online are good and I was tempted to try them before purchasing the products Chris recommended. I was hoping he'd do a review on them, too.
What about Alfaparf Milano? I was recommended their energising low shampoo for thinning hair so I purchased it with their hydrating leave in conditioner. And of course AFTER that I found your channel. The shampoo kinda works regarding cleansing my scalp, but the leave in conditioner is amazing! Really light for my fine curly hair. Btw thank you for what you do 🙏🏻
What do you, and folks reading this, make of Davines shampoos? I've been using either their repair or colour (my hair is dyed fire engine red!) shampoo and conditioner for a few years now but I'm wondering if it's *really* a professional level line like the ones Chris recommends. Mostly because I'm really struggling to get to 3 days between washes even with dry shampoo. Am I getting suckered by the nice smells and "naturalness"?
I’m currently using the Davines Oi Shampoo, and I don’t think it’s a professional level line like the ones Chris talks about. I can’t keep my hair clean for more than two days with it. It’s not just you!
Hi Chris, what's your best suggestion or recommendation for itchy clean scalp. I have been watching your videos and I'm sure you have the answer. Thanks for sharing your humor as well😏
How do you feel about the bar soap shampoo and conditioners? I have tried one from Earthlings and like it, but not sure if it is really good for my hair.
Can we get this video about conditioners? Logically I can see purchasing the corresponding conditioner makes sense but I just feel like conditioner is the one product we’ve never gotten a solid ranking on. I know you’ve shared masks and leave ins. Maybe I’m just over thinking it all 😅
I'm wanting the same! I use Redken Volume Injection shampoo, BUT since my ends are porous and dry, I use the All Soft conditioner. He never mentions anything about mixing and matching, or conditioners in general really.
OMG YOU HAVE truly helped me make my hair last for 3 days & stay clean! I bought the products Chris said to the oplex oil that’s a true game changer. I have a question is Bumble & bumble blow dry heat protective crème for dry or damaged hair? Is that a good product my hair is damaged from BLEACH!

The problem is Amazon sells counterfeit products. You never know what you’re getting.
So true, you have to check who the seller is.
I purchased my shampoo and many other things from them, and never gotten counterfeited products.
Not Amazon but sellers! I buy from Amazon and never had problems 😅
Probably true, except if the brand has its own storefront. I only buy relatively pricey brands on Amazon from their store, if any, on Amazon.
Amazon loves China and doesn't care if China scams you.

I cannot thank you enough. My hair is healthy and growing. It is (still) the longest it's ever been. I'm passing mid back length and going strong. Thank you for the solid advice❤
what shampoo you use?
Chris, could you do a video on gray hair since so many of us have chosen to embrace our silver?!😉
Question, if the All Soft is not good because it has oil; how is Moroccanoil better? It has oil in the ingredients as well. I have course hair.
Probably he speaks from his experience...and he said it's for very coarse hair.
Is tgere any possibility tgat you have some sort if wace or curl in your hair? I had " straight hair" all my life until I started going grey with so much dryness= dizziness and then found out I have waves . Now treating my hair as such and in much better condition wavy/ curly hair is notorious for frizz
Yeah, I have pretty wavy hair. Thank you for the suggestions 😊
Chris I just bought the Redken big blowout yesterday!!!! I used it with the volume injection and it was so good!
Hey Chris! 🌟 My hair was a total hot mess - bleaching and keratin treatment had turned it into a disaster zone!. But then I stumbled upon your channel, and your tips for damaged hair came to my rescue. Fast forward 4 months, and my hair stylist couldn't believe the transformation! Thanks a bunch for sharing your secrets.
what products did you use? moroccan oil? purology leave in?
@@sandra6020 Olaplex 3 or K18 (I am alternating between these two) , Revlon Restart Hydration Shampoo, Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating mask, Revlon Equave Hydro Nutritive leave in conditioner, Redken frizz dismiss rebel tame and Moroccanoil Treatment original.
I just wanted to type you a thank you note . Your video has helped me from not getting pass my rib cage to my hips. That you so much ! ❤ For teach me about my hair and how to lovingly take care of it.
I was debating Amazon shampoos just the other day and gave up not knowing who to choose. Thank you so much!
For him it is.
And since he hasn't failed me yet, I'll steer clear.
Exactly. To be honest he is more oriented to Caucasian thin hair. I’m Latina with thick curly hair and all soft is my HG. My hair is on my waist and super healthy! It def works fo me wonders!
@@SwanTheQueen have you seen his saloon partner's hair?! They know about thick hair too. 🤭
Finally found the best shampoo ever for my hair type. Redken volume injection! First time in 30 years my hair felt clean and fresh! Thank you, Chris!
Amazing isn't it?!? I love that redken line 😅❤
Now I can go every 5 days!👍🏻
My father was a professional hairdresser back in the 60's and 70's, until I was under his care my hair was great. He used the same technique for washing heads (not hair). Then I had to go to other hairdressers, when dad retired and got bad advice most of the times 😬
I switched from all soft to volume injection and it completely transformed my hair! Amazing product my fine hair is lighter and brighter and smooth.
I‘m not that lucky. My hair still gets oily after a couple of hours. I‘m using volume injection for a few months now and no improvement :(
Hi which one do you recommend the redken volume or the pureology hydrate
Hi. I enjoy your videos and wonder if you can do one about caring for post menopausal hair, as growth patterns and texture do alter . Thank you
On the recommended product list, there’s only volumizing shampoo products for fine hair, but sometimes I just want a basic cleansing shampoo and not so volumizing, what would be the recommendation for that?
Have you found anything? 💚
Also like attracts like, you can use oil to cleanse skin, you basically remove the old sweaty sebum but don’t strip your scalp of any oil it has ever produced.
lol I get the concept, I'm just explaining my personal experience with the product. Don't tell me "no" that's rude@@icewaterforblood
@@ashleyroman I’m so sorry, my comment seems to have been misinterpreted. I’m saying like no because, you are right and I am agreeing with you that your hair doesn’t get as greasy quick when you use a shampoo that isn’t so stripping
Again so sorry if I upset you I literally meant the opposite - a shampoo with oil could work well.
@@icewaterforblood Oh my gosh, now I feel rude! I’m sorry please disregard my last comment, I definitely misinterpreted what you said. I’m glad someone else understands where I’m coming from. 😊
@@ashleyroman no worries 😊
Make a video on k18 🙃 really wanna know your thoughts on it before buying 🙃🙃🙃
I know what you mean ..I need some gunkiness too get any style..too light & soft doesn’t work for me at all!! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Gave all my Biolage to the hubby. Like Mikey, he'll use it because he has perfect hair and can use anything!
I love Biolage but never used the Volumizing one.
I bought biolage colour last my hair become more dry ..really bad shampoo
Same! I wish I'd found this channel years ago, I would have saved so much money and frustration on products! I wasn't a fan of the Biolage, either. But like you said, at least it smells good, lol!
I returned Biolage volumizing shampoo and conditioner dried my fine long highlighted hair with 4 washes .... I really disliked the scent as well ...
I loved Olaplex shampoo and conditioner for damage.
Does it work as well as number 3? Not even. Olaplex works.
I love olaplex and no 3 works great too
Redken volume injection is my favourite, gets my hair all the way clean.
Chris can you please do a review on Oribe signature shampoo??
Hii❤️
Can you please teach us, what to do, when we try not to wash our hair too often, but we go regularly to gym and sweat?…
I have very thin and fragile hair.. washing them daily due gym is very damaging.. do you have any advice for us? 🥺🥺
Thank you so much in advance ❤️
Dry shampoo. He already made a video
What do you think of Kerastase products?
Thanks to you I found Redken Volume Injection shampoo. You have not spoken much about conditioners but I gather that's because they are all the same? Thank you for yet another great video!!
They are not all the same. Redken Volume Injection conditioner is his recommended pair with the shampoo.

Thank you 😊
Best shampoo for bleached hair? I use Olaplex and is very good it let my hair clean enough
We need this series for other hair products. Leave-in conditioners please 🙏 I can’t get the pureology one in my country, so I would like to know about others.
Redken all one!
Redken One United.
Thanks so much Chris, I have learnt so much from you. Could you please do a video on how to care for hair extensions?
I’ve been doing the K18 leave in treatment and I think it’s the only bond repair that works for my hair.
❤
Hope this helps someone else.
I need more info on the styling frizz issue.
What is your recommended products for a clarifying shampoo and also for hard water? Thanks
Thank you for information!🥰 If you could do this type of video content about leave in conditioners it would be great!🤩
Hi Chris, thank you for all of your videos!!! Would you please make a video on how and when to color your hair 😊
Can you talk about Giovanni Hair? It’s privately owned, so I’m curious if it would match salon level concentration. 🤔
I’ve used it and it doesn’t compare to professional at all. It didn’t damage my hair either, it’s just whatever
Most of the shampoos that are available have unnecessary fragrance in them though.
Can you make a video about some of the best fragrance free shampoos, like the SEEN brand, please?
He doesn't use these, none are in is preferred list 😊
@DebbieTDP
I didn't think he did.
I was just saying that, in general, most shampoos that are on the market, and the ones he has on his recommended products list, contain fragrance in the ingredients.
@@sweetiegenie2036 probably because these are not harmful and give an enjoyable olfactory experience.
Totally agree! Nothing worse then overly scented hair products that you can smell for days (lol) 😊
@@antoniarebelo6703 my redken volume injection doesn't make my hair smell of fragrance for days. But I wish it did 🤣😂
I tried the Redken Volume Injection shampoo and conditioner, Olaplex No.
I confusion
Hmm good point maybe oil works ok for coarse hair or there isn’t as much in that type
I have fine dry hair which is a beast. It’s hard to find anything that doesn’t weigh it down and is hydrating enough. Frustrating. Love your videos!
What do you think about L’Oréal professional shampoo? Is it similar to Redken or not? Thanks
I so look forward to your videos! They are very informative and always crack me up!!
Redken volume injection + redken all soft conditioner on the ends, is closest to soul mate that I have found. Thank you for all your advice!
this is the exact combo i feel may work for me omg😭 do you use a leave in conditioner after the shower? or does the redkin all soft conditioner just do the job?
I honestly don’t like anything with shea or argan oil because it irritates my skin. Coconut oil doesn’t penetrate the hair shaft either and just sits on top which weighs my hair down but it still ends up dry and frizzy. My friend is very allergic to nuts and this argan oil and shea trend has made her break out so bad since they are both from tree nuts. She has a hard time finding stuff she can use these days that actually work well for her hair.
Hey Chris, any product you recommend for humidity?
I love your videos, I have learned so much and my hair is better for it. And I love how funny they are too, your visuals crack me up every time 😂
Hi Cris! Can you also make a video about what is the best haircut for flat fine frizzy hair?
This is perfect timing - I need to switch up my shampoo/conditioner and this was extremely helpful!! Thanks so much 😊💕
Do it!! It's made all the difference for me & It's the most recent advice I took & I should have done it 1st. WTH was I thinking not starting with this????
Ever since I started watching you my hair is so much healthier. thank you so much
I’ve followed your advice regarding the Morrocan Oil Repair Shampoo (and conditioner) for my course, long hair.
Search his videos about curly hair and about sulphates
I brought this up before, but I’m still curious. If Redken All-Soft isn’t recommended because it contains oil, why is Moroccanoil shampoo suggested even though it also has oil in it? Could you please clarify?
Great video idea! I'd love to see a tier list for popular Amazon conditioners too.
I am so glad he explained this to me. I’m guilty of buying most of them. ESP the extreme length! He recommended the redken volume in the light pink bottle. This has not disappointed! These videos are funny as well. I love this channel
Would love to see your ranking/summarization of the Moroccanoil products on your shelf @blowoutprofessor ❤
I'm also wondering the same!
I was really intrigued by those as well, I don't know anyone personally that's used them, but the reviews online are good and I was tempted to try them before purchasing the products Chris recommended. I was hoping he'd do a review on them, too.
I wish I could use bars because they are zero waste but I have really long hair and they tangle up my hair
Forget Davines please
@alirach753 Cool, thank you. My hairdresser here uses it and recommended it but yeah... I'm starting to feel sceptical haha
@DebbieTDP Thank you, what was your experience with it?
Hi Chris, what's your best suggestion or recommendation for itchy clean scalp. A couple of hours after my routine shampoo conditioner leave in, my scalp starts to itch like crazy, no dandruff issues ever just itching omg I have to apply scalpacin or I can't get any sleep. I have been watching your videos and I'm sure you have the answer. Thanks for sharing your humor as well😏
I’ve got all of them in my products graveyard 😂 But you didn’t mention OUAI! The hype about that one is just insane.
Dude i use RedKen every single time I take a shower and my hair is actually perfectly fine I have shiny, silky, healthy long hair there's nothing wrong with RedKen shampoo or conditioner
Same I use all soft
Something which works for you doesn’t mean it work for everyone
@PP1208-t3w I understand, but that’s why there’s different kinds of shampoo and conditioners
Thank you for your suggestion Chris. I’m also looking for something because I have gray and light brown . It’s all natural going gray . What shampoo would I use? Thank you. For all your help😊
Hi Chris I needed this today I’m going to buy a new shampoo thanks so much 😊
I used to use Biolage, and your comparison to a car with huge rims is so right!
Don't the Moroccan Oil shampoos also contain oil (Argan oil)?
As a moroccan, it's better to use argan oil on your hair, but avoid using it on your scalp, wait for a few minutes, and then wash it with shampoo
Are hard water shampoos a scam ? I live in a rural area we have hard well water . Thanks

Ok, can i use Olaplex 6 on the first shampoo wash and Redken volume injection on the second? I would hate to waste the Olaplex 6 and want to use it up. I have medium amount of chin length gray hair. By the third or fourth day of not washing my hair, the first shampoo wash does'nt lather at all--i hate to keep applying more and more Redken volume injection on the first shampoo. Is this ok to do?
