I just want to say thank you for all the research and work you've put into this and your career. I struggle with fine, oily hair that is brittle at the ends. The amount of frustration and wasted products I have tried to figure out what works for my hair is crazy. I could literally cry because of how much you are helping me!!
Same. I've been using panoxyl salicylic acid on my scalp. Every 3 days before washing. Spray onto scallop leave about 5 minutes the I wash with Redken shampoo(twice) scalp only) / conditioner (ends only.) Immediately tshirt dry, put mousse and redken blow out cream and blowdry or blowdry brush I can now go 3 days..4th day is pony tail and wash day!
Thank you sooo much. Finally at 64.... My hair looks and feels great, can skip at least another day of washing my hair. I nearly bought all your recommended products and the search is over. Very happy and grateful.
The Redken cleansing cream combined with the volume injection shampoo and conditioner have changed my lifeee. I've been using this combo for almost a month now and I've already seen such a huge difference in my hair health! Thank you Chris!!! ♥
I just ordered the recommended products and cannot wait to try them! I also ordered leave-in conditioner and hair oil as well. I’m so pumped. Thank you for these videos!
Chris ,I am a retired salon owner ,45 years in the business . I find your videos to be knowledgeable and pleasant to watch . The same good info for hair has not changed, getting the info too clients has , so much too choose from. 👍
Order placed through your website , why? Because ever since following all your hair product advise, my hair has become manageable , beautiful and healthier without looking nasty. You resolved my hair issue that my stylist couldn’t even manage. Thank you ❤
The Redken Injection made my hair greasier. And yes I do everything from your videos to avoid oily hair (double cleansing, cleaning brushes, etc.) It gets oily the next day now and I’ve had so much fallout in the shower I’m honestly concerned. And yes I saw your video about shampoo not being able to cause hair loss but it absolutely can.
I thought I was the only one, I bought the Redken injection shampoo and conditioner from Redkens Amazon shop last year. I haven’t bought it again cause I’d get a lot of fallout In the shower,I was starting to think maybe I got ripped off and it was some knock off redken products. But I checked to make sure it was from their official shop and not some reseller. 🙁
The hair loss you get in the shower isn’t caused by the shampoo, that is natural shedding and the shampoo is removing the buildup of shedded hair. There are a lot of things that can cause excessive hair shedding, but your shampoo is least likely to be the culprit. That’s unless it is extremely damaging to your hair, I mean bleach sort of damage (which the Redken line is not, or most shampoos for that matter), and in that case it would be hair breakage, not hair loss.
Thank you very much for this awesome advice!!!!! I used the shampoo, conditioner, oil recommended by you for course hair and for the FIRST time in y life, my hair is perfectly smooth, shiny, bouncy, sleek, and perfect!!! Much gratitude to you for your expertise!! The Morrocan oil shampoo does not need a lot of product to have a good lather and completely wash away the dirt. My scalp and hair look, feel and smell amazing! I am smiling so wide you could put a banana in my mouth sideways! The analogy of junk food to junk hair products hit home with me and I finally deferred to your expertise and have found the best products for my hair thanks to you! 😁
I also bought and will continue to buy these products on Amazon using your link. It does not cost me more and it pays you for my hair looking better than ever and at a salon level look.
Why are you so amazing!? I've got wavy/curly hair and I've been trying to stick with the "curly girl method". I decided to give the redken a shot because the CG method makes my hair oily so quick. This has been a miracle! My hair is lasting longer, full of volume, and curls even look better! Thank you so much.
I do understand the importance of using quality shampoos BUT its so so so expensive!!! cant you recommend a good drugstore one plz? currently im using head and shoulders
At first I wasn’t a believer, but I stuck with your advice and after about 3 weeks, I can now go a full week without greasy roots, before every was obligatory hair wash because of that issue. Thank you. I’m glad I invested in professional products, the difference is huge!
Man Idk how many I’ve tried I’ve never found a shampoo that both keeps my hair clean for 3 days and also keep it smooth and hydrated. I always have to choose between the 2.
Hi, I watch all your videos and still can't figure out my hair type.. It's me not you!! I'm 63, with shoulder-length hair that's layered, colored, trying to cover the gray & curly. I can go 3-4 maybe 5 days between shampooing but even 1 day after shampooing, my hair is completely flat to my head, it's not dirty, just flat. I've tried absolutely every product for curly & regular hair & get the same exact results. I was so happy to hear you say, curly hair does not need curl specific products!! The $$$ I've wasted over the years believing all the "curly girl" product hype.. Thank you so much for all you do & honest information you provide! ❤
I never comment on yt videos but I realized that its been almost 2 years since I started taking this advice and it has completely revolutionized the way I do my hair. I only have to style it 2 times a week now and with the added help of using overnight curls I even get to avoid heat styling multiple times a week like i was doing before. My hair is healthier than ever and I don't have a single split end in sight. Now I get multiple compliments on my hair DAILY. Switching to Redken and taking his advice saved my hair.
As someone with coarse hair but with a lot of allergies I was wondering if there are products out there that give hydration to the hair without using avocado, argon, and tree nut based oils. This is something I’ve always struggled with and seeing how knowledgeable you are I’m praying you see this and help me out if possible 🙏🏼
I took one bottle of vitamin oil from work what we use to treat extreme face skin burns, it's extremely saturated with vitamins and oils and I tried it for my scalp and ends. My hair never looked better. I was amazed...
This video has saved my hair. I got the shampoo and conditioner for coarse hair. I am finally rocking my natural 4c curls after two years of constant Heat and improper cleaning. Thank you so much 😭🩷 🙏
As you stated not every shampoo works for each person so variety in recommendations is important. It would be nice to have the top 3 choices for each type. Thank you.
Yes! Especially since most of us don’t know what a “professional” shampoo is. It would be nice to at LEAST have 2 recommendations for each category: a “best” option and a “not best, but acceptable in this economy” option
I love the fact he has done all the hardworking narrowing it down to the best products for us! I don't want choices if he has done the work and figured out the BEST for each hair type!
Used the Redken Volume injection shampoo and conditioner for the first time 2 days ago (cleansing cream only arrived yesterday), and my hair still isn't greasy, even though we've had insane temperatures and I've been sweating. Usually, I would have seen grease form by the afternoon on the very first day. Excited to see what will happen when I add the cleansing cream as a first wash. Also, I don't think my hair has ever had this much volume without me doing anything. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get the pulp riot, because I do actually air dry my hair
@@carlysmith8971 I am still using them. My hair doesn't get oily during the day even if it's hot, but I'm still not comfortable leaving it unwashed, because it does get greasier than I want it to be, which makes my skin oilier, which causes me to break out. So I still wash every day, I only wash my hair once and use the cleansing cream about every third wash, but overall I really am much happier than I was before. I also need to use far less conditioner than if I buy cheaper ones.
Redken is a great product & i remember I used to use leave in conditioners . i was wondering why my hair was better before thks a MILLION! GOD BLESS YOU!
I don’t normally comment but this man really helped me find the perfect products in a short period of time and now I feel genuinely educated on hair. 😂
Haha!! I am definitely guilty of „dating“ my high school crush 🤭 and wondering why things aren‘t working out.. I have fine and oily hair. I have to try out your recommendations; ordering those products immediately! Thanks for making these videos and sharing your knowledge with us!
Dont mean to complain but i wish you could have the bottle up close so we could see them, its very hard to know what shampoos your talking about without seeing them properly but thanku for the free advice
I took your quiz and was recommended redken volume shampoo and conditioner. I've just ordered them. I've never spent this much on shampoo and conditioner in my life! I'm putting my faith in u🙏 Luvv ur videos after shaving my hair off after 3 years of bleaching and taking a proper interest now that I want to start again. Ty so much ❤️
the fact is that it's 3am and a bald man is talking to me about female shampoos, and I didn't know I needed to see this before I did. great triceps by the way. edit: I'm about 1/3 of the video and the way the man is moving his head as he speaks is making me nervous 2nd edit: i'm a man
I'm glad that you mention using the clarifying shampoo for oil because I don't have oily hair or an oily scalp, but I do practise regular Indian style hair oiling so I oil my hair and scalp once every week, and then I need to get rid of all that oil.
Chris, do you have a shampoo/conditioner recommendation for silver/gray hair? My go-to brightening shampoo was reformulated and now it’s awful. I’m still looking for a replacement and would love a recommendation. Thank you for your fun and informative videos.
I used almost all your hair products for fine hair and my hair is more way greasy, I tested them for over 3 weeks, washing every 2-3 days. Thankfully I didn't buy Olexplex oil. I bought the Redken Volume shampoo and conditioner and it makes my fine hair feel damaged. Since buying these professional products my fine hair is worse. I shampooed my hair twice as directed, then put conditioner on my ends, then used Pureology and Redken Blowout which was suggested (in another video) Nothing but flat, non bouncy. Believe I followed almost exactly as instructed. I wish I had all the same results as the other commenters.
Thanks to you I discovered I have fine hair... I'm 27 :') every single time I went to the hairdresser they tell me I have coarse hair. My mom herself always told my I have coarse hair. And today I discovered the truth ! I'll have to change a few things in my products !
My mum complains when I go to hers because her bathroom is suddenly filled with massive salon size bottles of Milkshake Moisture Plus (shampoo and conditioner - Amazon sells the salon sizes and it works out so much cheaper!), Olaplex 2 (got a two litre bottle from an ex-mobile stylist), Olaplex 4C, 6 and 7 😆 Honestly the Milkshake products are the best shampoo and conditioner I’ve ever used.
You are a godsend. The women of my family have coarse hair. But my daighter has fine hair. We have tried so many products and I was at a loss of how to help her.
Thank you for educating general public. Your videos are very informative, fun to watch, and useful. Since Pulp Riot shampoo is discontinued, do you have any other product recommendation for air drying medium hair? Thank you in advance!
I must have a whole “harem” of products for my coarse hair. Tons of hair masks down to several blow dry creams/sprays to even more than one leave in conditioner; one at a time of course.
Thank you for your professional advice. My boyfriend and I have very different hair types, but similar oily scalps. The Redken cleansing cream is a hands-down winner for both of us.
Chris I love❤ your watching your videos. I love ❤how you explain everything and most importantly your very honest bout the products. Your so spot on with everything you say. Thank you 🙏🏽 Wishing you a blessed and happy 2023 🎉
Hi Chris - this channel has completely changed my hair from a frizzy, dry, crackly mess to the softest, shiniest it's ever been. That said, I have coarse hair but also some hairline recession and thinning. As a result, I've been using topical 5% minoxidil at night. Once it dries it gets kind of sticky but by morning it feels alright. I could probably easily go a week without washing, but I'm concerned about the minoxidil building up. Do you have any input for how often I might need to wash, or if it even matters? Thanks again!
This is the best definition of fine hair I've ever seen; the flat-to-the-head thing, that it needs washing very regularly or the roots (and then shafts) can get oily and make it look lank quite quickly. I'm a guy who always assumed that he had course hair, mainly because it's quite thick and often frizzes-up, and it's only because a new hairdresser dubbed it 'fine' recently that I started thinking otherwise. The only thing is, my hair can feel quite dry a lot of the time, so it's a bit paradoxical.
I have tried Chris's tips on the 3 steps for hair but my hair, but it is still bone dry and frizzy. Just watching this video as got me thinking. I had covid in 2020 and was poorly for approx 14 months ( frightening experience) I didnt give my hair any thought at the time but in 2021 I notice my fine, slightly wavy hair was now thick waves and unmanageable. I used to be able to dry my hair straight, leaving a slight wave and it was smooth and shiny. My hair now is full of frizz and looks so dry, even have hair that has broken off further up my head. After having covid i had tests and was diagnosed with 2 incurable lung diseases and am now on daily medication. I am wondering whether it has been the health issues or the stress of going from a fit and active woman to someone who now has to be careful has affected my hair. I am grateful for still being around and everyone says it doesn't matter, but the state of my hair now really upsets me
Fighting respiratory and other diseases uses up your vitamins, especially Vitamin A. And Vitamin A is also needed for hair growth and health. If you read Victorian novels, they are always complaining about hair problems after being sick, especially since they used to cut off hair to fight fevers. A lot of time girls' hair grew back differently, because of the lack of nourishment from vitamins and general strength/health problems after serious sickness. So take care of your body, and your hair will come back gorgeous. It will take some time, but these great hair care tips will help. But also ask your doctor about supplements for your hair and nails, especially since your lung problems aren't going away tomorrow.
Skygazer, I hope you are feeling well! It is not the stress, Covid has an effect on hair too and it's definitely not nice. I had Covid too and a few months afterwards my hair started falling like crazy. It was as if I was undergoing chemotherapy. I really though I was going to end up bald. It only stopped when I started taking Biotin supplements. The remaining hair (that has never been bleached, coloured, permed or anything like that) became frizzy and unmanageable. So it's not just the stress of it, it's the effect of Covid itself on your hair. I know in the grand scheme of things one is happy to be here and grateful to have overcome the ilness but having horrible hair every day does make one feel uncomfortable so I get your feeling. A year ago I had a hair treatment done that is called Ybera and it worked really well. My hair was smooth, shinny and straight again. I didn't have to do it again because my hair somehow "got the memo" with the Ybera and started growing better. It's still not the amazing hair I used to have but definitely much better than what I had post Covid and that is why I'm here watching these videos to see if I can use one of his routines to help my hair go back to what it used to be. I hope you too get better hair and that you stay healthy!
I'm so sorry to hear of your experience. Covid was no joke. It really wiped the world, didn't it. I just recently lost my poor uncle to covid. I'm glad you are strong and I pray you will recover completely.
Could you please recommend some ingredients/other things people from other parts of the world can look out for when talking about products? It would be really helpful in figuring out what will likely work for us
Hey Chris, I am your international subscriber so I can't find the product you mentioned in this video . Can you please make video about "choosing a correct shampoo according to your hair/scalp type" without any specific product and just the things you should look for and avoid in shampoo . It would help me a lot!!!
I love Boston shampoo and Singapore conditioner but now that they are discontinued, I've been using Redken volume injection on my medium hair but just don't like it as much. Any other suggestions?
My hairstylist used a shampoo on my hair recently and I immediately noticed. I asked her what it is and she sent me a screenshot. The brand is REF, it is a Swedish company I think. You should check them out. Also, great info on products and hair management, you are awesome and I love your videos!
Have you ever worked with afro coily textured hair? Everyone always assumes this hair type is coarse but many times it's more medium and sometimes fine it just never presents as oily or flat because of the texture. My coily hair is more on the medium side and I used to always use heavy moisturizing shampoos and conditioners just because that's what was always recommended for this hair type. It was incorrect for me. I started using Color Wow products exclusively and my hair finally feels good and behaves much better. The shampoo isn't even moisturizing but it is sulfate free and pretty gentle with a 5.7 pH. They created it to cleanse and leave nothing behind. Which to me is perfect since I wash every 6-7 days and use lots of product in between. I think more afro hair would benefit from this type of shampoo versus the heavy moisture shampoos we are always blindly recommended. Great channel. Even though most of the tips are geared towards straighter hair textures I'm still able to pick up some tips here and there.
Hey! Yes my salon Co founder has hair like that. And you're absolutely right your hair pattern does not determine your hair type. You can have super coily hair that isn't coarse. That's why my #1 thing for hair type is can it handle heavy products. Great point 👍
Chris! Watching you has absolutely, positively revolutionized the health of my hair! I have spent my life thinking I had fine, hard to grow hair. Through watching you and using your Trinity hair care system, I think I have come to understand I have neither! I am, however, having a tough time deciding if I have medium or course hair. I can easily go 6-7 days without washing my hair.....does this fact automatically qualify me for course? Does hair diameter matter in this equation? Even though I can easily go a week without washing my hair, it does not hold a curl very well. Might this be more related to using the wrong products? Regardless, I am definitely on the right track to getting the most out of my hair, and it is all due to you!!!
I have the same issue i dont style my hair that often but i can go without wshing up to 5 days or so . i have a dry scalp and hair . i have used the Moroccan oil shampoo seems to work fine with me although it is for coarse hair so i am still confused . most of these products arent availablw where i live even moroccon oil shampoo i bought it when i was travelling
I wish there was some option for Indian market like this.. your option seem to be pretty authentic and reliable.. If you catch hold of any product similar to the Indian hair . Do make a video .. pulp riot is not familiar to Indian market yet...!! I am binge watching your video today 😊
This is so helpful. My hair is so weird and hard to deal with. It's super fine and from just looking at it, it seems very thin but there's sooo much of it. My ponytail is so thick and all of my hair is heavy as heck. I want to try the redken products in this video. I'm just now starting to use more high-end hair products and I've definitely wasted money on stuff that is not for my hair 😂
Omg same here!!! I literally have so much hair, it’s so heavy, even with lots of layers it won’t hold curls, and takes forever to get greasy, I pull one strand out and it’s super fine, can barely feel it between my fingers, and then a hair from a different spot will be soooo coarse!!! I don’t know what my hair type is 😭
Chris! I need more options, I follow you but I don’t live in the US. Redken is limited here, you only get friss dissmiss, color and all soft. Don’t have access to Cleansing cream shampoo either.
Do you have an alternate suggestion to the Moroccan Oil for the heavy hydration? One that doesn't have moroccan/argon oil in it. I'm allergic & my stylist said she has a few other clients that are as well.
How often can we use the redken cleansing cream and volume injection shampoo for fine and oily scalp? Are these prodcuts colour safe and can they be used daily?
Okay Chris, just got my Pulp Riot anD OMG!! I prefer not to blow dry my hair. This shampoo HANDS DOWN is totally awesome for that! Thank you so much for the information- I’m loving my hair!!
I've been using the red ken volume injection for a few months and i really love it. Because my hair still gets pretty greasy at day 2 i'm going to try this combo with the cleansing cream. Thanks for the tip! 😄
How did the clarifying shampoo work? Did your hair stop being so greasy after 2 days? I have reskin volume injection, and I noticed my hair started getting really greasy.
@@skyesimplyliving9086 i wash it once a week with the clarifying shampoo now and i can go 3 days sometimes 4 inbetween washes instead of washing every other day. But i also switched to the extreme shampoo because the volume injection made my roots so stiff i had to brush very carfully and i experienced some breakage
So while growing up I was pushed to wash my hair every few days or so. Then after a few years of skipping washes due to one reason or another, I can go at least a week before it seems to get even a tiny bit oily. If I used the dry shampoo technique (at 4:30) after 4 days... well, it wouldnt change a thing. It still feels and looks clean in the first place... It might sound gross to some people... but it works - I think? I would absolutely love for this guy to get his hands on my hair. He sounds really informed and I would love to know if I'm doing things wrong (let's be honest - probably am hahaha)
Hi Chris. I love your videos. What a treasured find. I have medium colored treated hair with highlights. I use professional grade purple shampoo to tone the brassiness. What shampoo do you recommend that doesn’t have sodium laureth sulfate to fade my color. I usually blow dry my hair before styling it. Thank you.
I use redken color extended magnetics. Been using it for years and I swear by it. I can go 4-5 days without having to wash my hair again. Also I can go at least 3 months before having to color my hair to get rid of gray.
💜 I am on my second week of your "hair trinity" and I'm back in love with my hair! My fine hair used to be long to my elbow, and the top layer was completely due to breakage at ear level after I had to take strong pain killers mid 2020 (and also visiting one of the worst hair salons in Berlin). So basically I have been trying to grow my length back for two years now and it wouldn't grow past my shoulders. After finding you I did order Olaplex No. 3, only washed my hair after three days and religiously used Shampoo, hair mask, conditioner, leave in conditioner and hair oil. I kid you not, I can't stop touching my hair although I know I shouldn't 😆 It's so soft, glossy and bouncy! So thank you for your amazing content! Do you take suggestions for trying out new products? I love my Goldwell Just Smooth Shampoo, 60 second mask, conditioner and the 6 effects serum (leave in). It's a professional salon brand over here and I saw you can get it at Walmart. I'd love to hear your opinion about that. 🤩
did you buy the redken shampoo and conditioner he recommended? as you say you are from germany. Sadly I cant get the pulp riot shampoo and conditioner I'm from europe as well
@@sarahshariff9077 my ends dry first, so when I oil it the roots might still be damp. Still feels weird since I have always been told to oil damp hair. I get significantly less frizz when waiting until they're dry.
@@vinterkrig1945 No I didn't, but just because I hate the idea of volumeous hair on my already pretty big head 😆 and I don't like the feel of grip to my hair. I was trying to track down samples though, unsuccessfully so.
I have a question: does age affect your description of hair types? I am 69 and have always been told my hair is fine. It is on the silky side, it is challenging to achieve volume and often does not want to hold curl. If I don't use product and let it do what it wants it is flat. When I was younger I had somewhat oily hair. Now that I am older I find that I can get three days out of a hair wash. The third day is flatter and a more difficult to make look good but I can do it. My guess would be that my hair IS fine even though I almost always get three days out of a wash. So, just wondering what you would say to help me get the correct shampoo. I have a little bit of white or silver coming in and that hair is very slightly wavy, not coarse or tight curls like some older women get.
Which one is better shampoo fro. MORRACAN OIL is it Moisture repair or hydrating shampoo..my hair is dry and coarse and also once a month i do rooting or cover my Grey hair every month...thank you
Hi Chris!! You are very informative!! Thank you for that! I used to have great hair before I went into menopause!! My hair is pretty thick & coarse now but not as thick as it was due to some shedding. I do have blonde highlighted hair so it also breaks off some. Since my hair has changed due to hormones I'm at a loss at what shampoo to use. Also I need a good detangler because it takes me a long time to comb the tangles out after washing it.Any advice on a shampoo great for hair that is shedding? I wish my hair was the way it used to be & I guess my hair needs healing products to repair my hair! Thanks for all your great advice!!
I am an old lady with gray fine hair. My hair is about down to my waist. People say I have pretty hair. I want to ask you what I can do to help it be more healthy. It seems as if my scalp never gets oil. I do watch ur videos and follow ur advice. Just wondering if you knew of something more for gray hair.
Hi Chris, can you do a video on tips in protecting the hair during sleep? I have long hair, medium texture. I wash every 3 days and curl my hair. I find that the style stays but I get knots at the back of my hair on the inside (despite silk pillowcase). Any tips or product recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for the videos. What would you recommend? My hair feels oily but also extremely dry at the same time
Same. I've been using panoxyl salicylic acid on my scalp.
Every 3 days before washing.
Spray onto scallop leave about 5 minutes the I wash with Redken shampoo(twice) scalp only) / conditioner (ends only.)
Immediately tshirt dry, put mousse and redken blow out cream and blowdry or blowdry brush
I can now go 3 days..4th day is pony tail and wash day!
Thank you sooo much. Finally at 64.... My hair looks and feels great, can skip at least another day of washing my hair. I nearly bought all your recommended products and the search is over. Very happy and grateful.

OMG YES he described my hair PERFECTLY! Fine, but after a couple days gets flat! Thank you so much
I never comment on yt videos but I realized that its been almost 2 years since I started taking this advice and it has completely revolutionized the way I do my hair.
Is jojoba a tree nut? Sorry if it is but I use it on my coarse hair. I also admit I've used baby oil with good results. Eeee.
I took one bottle of vitamin oil from work what we use to treat extreme face skin burns, it's extremely saturated with vitamins and oils and I tried it for my scalp and ends. My hair never looked better. I was amazed...
I don't think I can afford Redken or other shampoos you recommend. Do you possibly have any recommendations for more affordable shampoos?
Chris, I'd love it if you can test out and review some Asian hair care like the &honey and Fino line
@@whisperedariasummer Beauty does do that! Mentions best for each price point
I love the fact he has done all the hardworking narrowing it down to the best products for us! I don't want choices if he has done the work and figured out the BEST for each hair type!
I finally find someone who really know how to explain and great advices
Used the Redken Volume injection shampoo and conditioner for the first time 2 days ago (cleansing cream only arrived yesterday), and my hair still isn't greasy, even though we've had insane temperatures and I've been sweating. Usually, I would have seen grease form by the afternoon on the very first day. Excited to see what will happen when I add the cleansing cream as a first wash. Also, I don't think my hair has ever had this much volume without me doing anything. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get the pulp riot, because I do actually air dry my hair
Are you still using them ? How are they doing??
@@carlysmith8971 I am still using them. My hair doesn't get oily during the day even if it's hot, but I'm still not comfortable leaving it unwashed, because it does get greasier than I want it to be, which makes my skin oilier, which causes me to break out. So I still wash every day, I only wash my hair once and use the cleansing cream about every third wash, but overall I really am much happier than I was before. I also need to use far less conditioner than if I buy cheaper ones.
Does the Redken Volume Injection work fine even if you don't blow dry?

Redken is a great product & i remember I used to use leave in conditioners . i was wondering why my hair was better before thks a MILLION! GOD BLESS YOU!
They have discontinued pulp riot singapore& boston what took its place?
I don’t normally comment but this man really helped me find the perfect products in a short period of time and now I feel genuinely educated on hair. 😂
Haha!! I am definitely guilty of „dating“ my high school crush 🤭 and wondering why things aren‘t working out..
I have fine and oily hair. I have to try out your recommendations; ordering those products immediately! Thanks for making these videos and sharing your knowledge with us!
Curious if you ended up getting the products and how it's going. Thinking of purchasing and I have the same hair type.
I'm putting my faith in u🙏

the fact is that it's 3am and a bald man is talking to me about female shampoos, and I didn't know I needed to see this before I did. great triceps by the way.

It seems that Pulp Riot’s Boston and Singapore has been discontinued. Can you recommend something else instead?
I'm glad that you mention using the clarifying shampoo for oil because I don't have oily hair or an oily scalp, but I do practise regular Indian style hair oiling so I oil my hair and scalp once every week, and then I need to get rid of all that oil.
I was sceptical, but after a while I decided to try the recommended products for my hair. And it worked! Thank you : )
Whats your hair type??
Amazing !!!!! I went to buy this combo shampoo today and I loved the volume…. It WORKS and feel real good . Thank you 😊
Where did u buy it ??😍
Thanks to you I discovered I have fine hair...
They discontinued the Boston Shampoo. I have fine hair that I frequently air dry. Any other recommendations, please?
Thank you for educating general public. Your videos are very informative, fun to watch, and useful. Since Pulp Riot shampoo is discontinued, do you have any other product recommendation for air drying medium hair? Thank you in advance!
I must have a whole “harem” of products for my coarse hair. Tons of hair masks down to several blow dry creams/sprays to even more than one leave in conditioner; one at a time of course.
LOL "one at a time of course" :)
dont use repair products it make it worse
only use weightless hydration products ( must be silicone free by the way)

Thank you for your professional advice. My boyfriend and I have very different hair types, but similar oily scalps. The Redken cleansing cream is a hands-down winner for both of us.

Your so spot on with everything you say.

Does this apply for men as well ?
It applies to people with hair
Hi Chris - this channel has completely changed my hair from a frizzy, dry, crackly mess to the softest, shiniest it's ever been. That said, I have coarse hair but also some hairline recession and thinning. As a result, I've been using topical 5% minoxidil at night. Once it dries it gets kind of sticky but by morning it feels alright. I could probably easily go a week without washing, but I'm concerned about the minoxidil building up. Do you have any input for how often I might need to wash, or if it even matters? Thanks again!
Hey!! Could you share which products have you used?? I have the same hair concerns … frizz and dullness
Hey back gain need to know how much conditioner is too much😮
This is the best definition of fine hair I've ever seen; the flat-to-the-head thing, that it needs washing very regularly or the roots (and then shafts) can get oily and make it look lank quite quickly.
Thank you for the Redken recommendation-it really works. 😃
It really must have been a frighteting experience. Hope you are better now and wish you the best ❤
It would be really helpful in figuring out what will likely work for us
Hey Chris,
I am your international subscriber so I can't find the product you mentioned in this video . It would help me a lot!!!

Hi Chris, thanks your videos are really helpful. I haven’t noticed you mentioning Kerastase products . Do you have any opinion on them? Thanks !
what about fine but dry hair??
Thanks Chris! It definitely helps figure out what I need in my routine!
Where do you buy REF? Can you get it online?
Pantene works the best for my hair. I have tried so many shampoos from cheap to expensive and my hair is best with Pantene.
Thank you! Do you have a vegan option instead of the Redken ones please? 🙏🏽 😊
I been waiting for so long for CF and vegan suggestions 😂
Thank you Chris!! 🙂 this was helpful. All though your videos are short, they are very informative!! 🌷
This was very helpful, it’s time to take care of your hair as much as skin! Thank you~

Redken is not available in my country, is there any alternative
This Singapore and Boston I cannot find in my country.
Did you end up doing it? Curious if it worked
Why do you recommend SULFATE shampoos??
I used no.3 then Boston Pulp Riot & followed up w/ no.2 . The results are phenomenal!! Thanks @ blowout professor!

Hello! A year late but the Boston shampoo is discontinued. Any alternative you would recommend?
So while growing up I was pushed to wash my hair every few days or so. Then after a few years of skipping washes due to one reason or another, I can go at least a week before it seems to get even a tiny bit oily. If I used the dry shampoo technique (at 4:30) after 4 days... well, it wouldnt change a thing. It still feels and looks clean in the first place...
It might sound gross to some people... but it works - I think?
I would absolutely love for this guy to get his hands on my hair. He sounds really informed and I would love to know if I'm doing things wrong (let's be honest - probably am hahaha)
What about curly hair?
I kid you not, I can't stop touching my hair although I know I shouldn't 😆
It's so soft, glossy and bouncy!

@@Mainzermelli Aww im so happy to hear your good hair transformation! Which products worked best for you? are you saying olaplex no 3?
Can you do a video on the different Redken products?
Ty but... The products mention are not shipped to Europe 😥😥😥😥
Which one is better shampoo fro. MORRACAN OIL is it Moisture repair or hydrating shampoo..my hair is dry and coarse and also once a month i do rooting or cover my Grey hair every month...thank you
Since you didn’t specify how often you should use the clarifying shampoo for fine hair, I assume it’s ok to use daily?
