  • #Russian #POW Denis #Patrushev said that during his period in #Ukraine, he was wounded twice, and then he was sent to more and more hot spots. Thus, after the last injury, he ended up near #Bakhmut, where he received a third injury to his leg. His fellow #soldiers decided to abandon him. Later, the #Defense #Forces captured Denis and provided him with medical assistance. Watch full interview with Russian POW.

      Overall the Ukrainians definitely give the Russians a chance to surrender, but in the heat of battle, things happen; I Have seen multiple Russian POW's getting executed right after surrendering, or simple while they were surrendering. Just because you do not see these videos, does not mean this does not happen. Both sides at this point have generals that are war criminals, and both sides have done things that are not OK. Its easy to forget the humanity of the Russian side, but lots of the Russian conscripts just want to go home to their family.

      @iris1224wwad Год назад

      @Sanka Plays It's also been established, that it's a matter of policy for russians to abuse and kill POW's, as well as civilians.
      While it happens that Ukrainians cross the line, it is not a matter of policy. Also, none of it would happen if putin had not sent his army into Ukraine. There is no moral equivalence between russia and Ukraine. Do not try to sell the tale that there is, because you're only serving putin's interests.

    Yes, huge respect for Ukraine... and how they treat their Prisoners of War with respect. It's the complete opposite of how Putin's Russia treats any prisoner there. I pray for Russia's POWs who were lucky enough to live long enough to be taken prisoner INSIDE Ukraine during this war... and pray for their safety when they return to Russian during prisoner exchanges. I can't imagine Putin just allowing them to go back to their homes and normal life again, especially those whose interviews like this one were posted on RUclips for all the world to see and hear. To even call this war a "war" is a crime in Russia. Imagine what they will do to this Russia soldier for telling the truth about what the world can see, but what Russian media (the government's media) is letting the Russian people see or hear about. Dear God, please protect the lives and safety of POWs on both sides.
