People calling for peace by stopping arm deliveries to Ukraine, are just saying lets give Ukrainians to those monsters. I would like to see these people living with their children under Russian rule.

That is complete bulldroppings. They could have peace today and in the future if the Ukraine government wanted - if their masters in Washington and London wanted. Peace is the last thing the people in charge want. This was is for profit, and the longer it goes, the richer they get. Peace sells, but who's buying?

      But Ukraine started the war.
Remember the words of Poroshenko, who spoke about the residents of Donbass:
      - "We will have a job - they don't.
We will have support for children and pensioners - they don't.
Our children will go to schools and kindergartens - their children will sit in basements.
Here This is how we will win this war."
Do you call these people a "nation of heroes"?

yes, and the headline is especially humorous. The "Defenders of Donbass", who speak Ukrainian (from 2:50)! Hilarious! The guys are obviously from Galicia, just as the narrator is Scottish in every sound he utters. It takes the ignorance of the outside masses to buy this nonsense. Nobody who was born and grew up in Donbass ever spoke Ukrainian! That is unless one inhabits the fantasy world invented by BBC and CNN. And the citizens of the city of Donetsk are naturally, acc. to BBC, invaders of Donbass?! As usual, the censors of this venerable broadcaster will bowdlerise this post!

Kudos to the reporter, the cameraman, and whoever else was with them. Nothing brings home how insane, deadly, and sad war is more than a report like this one.
The only alternative to understanding the fear, courage, and knowledge of imminent sudden death, is to physically be there.

Putin attacked Ukraine in 2014 for the same reason seeing Biden and Obama are corrupted and weak Putin knew it was a green light to attack Ukraine.

I am from Austria. I often went to the Donbass with an organisation to bring food, medical supplies and clothes there. I often think about what would happen if it were my family. Yes, electricity and heating costs have risen very sharply in our country, but no one's life is threatened. It fills me with great pain when I hear people in Europe say we should not supply weapons. Then I always think of the comrades in Ukraine who risk their lives every day for their freedom and we sit in Europe and worry about electricity prices. This is out of proportion. The experiences and impressions in the frontline change you a lot. The stories of the people on the ground very often touched me emotionally. It is hard to share your thoughts with someone who has not experienced it. Many people just don't understand. I wish I could do more. I hope that we will soon be able to bring relief supplies to the Donbass again.

So brutal and to the bone... I am completely touched and speechless. 22 year old Dima, by the look of his face, has a great heart and warm look in his eyes. Yet, he has scars that he will carry for the rest of his life. If he survives. And the commander, his pain being overshadowed by the purpose of his mission. It is unbelievable this is happening in 21st century, in a civilized and privilleged part of the world. Slava Ukraini and prayers (though I am atheist) from the Czech Republic. We are by your side and one day, we will thank you for all the sacrifice.

How can my tepid tapping on a keyboard 13,000 km way possibly know of Ukraine's pain? To live a reality where my only choice is to relentlessly hang my life at the precipice for freedom. The footage of Dima, 22-year-old young soldier, nonchalantly lighting his cigarette in a shallow trench before artillery falls near him and afterwards is iconic. Thank you Quentin Sommerville and Darren Conway and the others who risked much to capture this. I hope you all get the recognition you deserve for this telling journalism.

It's even more surreal here. I'm less than 500 km from Russian artillery leveling cities, sipping my tea in a country that has not been at war for 80 years, leading a completely normal life. I get annoyed at the cigarette machine not fulfilling its end of the contract while half an hours flight by jet away families are blown apart. And our politicians shit themselves at the thought of sending strategically significant long range weapons that could end this. I feel like I should help. But how. I'm a penniless coward. I wouldn't last 10 minutes under artillery fire. We can't even vote on the matter. I have a friend in Spain who told me about the men who are being taken there with war wounds and the terrible circumstances they face. They are men like these ones, kids, fathers and sons of someone. They are treated and given support and I feel there is no enough amount of help we can give them, they deserve it all. They are fighting for their right to exist and they are all heroes. Those words from the commander says it like it is, "I hope there is no war on their land', he knows what he's talking about. To those who brought this war and all that suffering, be prepared, you won't find a place to hide.

The saddest thing out of this video is knowing it could all stop within an hour. All the carnage, hurt, chaos, and destruction.
All it takes is for Putin to pull out of Ukraine and this madness ends. But it won't. Thousands more will die. Many more will be maimed.

All true but we can't make Putin do anything. What we can do is take responsibility and make sure Ukraine wins this war! We made mistakes, all of us made mistakes including Ukraine. Now we need to put it right. Moscow's position it that "Russia" is at war with the west, specifically; at war with my country, the United States. We should show him what that means. We should answer with the logistical capability of the arsenal of democracy and we should do it NOW!

@duncan smith Go fuck yourself, the UK, US, Russia and all of Europe have Nazis. Show me one european country which has voted 70% for a JEW which was dancing naked in high heals. And by the way everyone now knows that the UN numbers of 14000 (3500 civilians) dead where on both sides. But more importantly the numbers of dead since 2014 -2015 have been decreasing dramatically since then. In 2021 their was 36 dead in total because the war was frozen. Today its like 36 death every hour.

    • @paoloadam
      @paoloadam Год назад +6

@duncan smith That ship has long sailed my friend. Fatalities in the Russo-Ukrainian war between April 6th 2014 and December 31st 2021 were ~14.500 of which 3.404 were civilians. The notion that they were all victims of "ukronazis" is ludicrous. The violence was initiated by Russia and its proxies who caused either directly or indirectly many of the deaths themselves (298 of the 3.404 civilians were passengers and crew of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 shot down by Igor Girkin's men and many of the most tragic casualties were children who stepped on Russian landmines placed between the Donbas "separatist" territories and the rest of Ukraine). But let's assume, for the sake of argument, that Ukraine was somehow the only party responsible for a majority of these deaths. Even if this were the case, Russia's horrific full scale invasion would have abundantly swung the balance in Kyiv's favor, so ultimately anyone who stands for not forgetting and having people pay for their sins stands w/ Ukraine on the right side of history. 💙💛

Long live mother Russia, truth and justice. Mariupol is finally free from oppression and they are very happy. Donbass and Kharkiv all Russian cities, Odessa next. They were never Ukrainian to begin with-there was a growing movement to make a greater Ukraine and one nation with nobody else there - why even good old BBC reported that 9 years ago. Did you pray for the poor oppressed people who wanted to identify as Russian 9 years ago?

It touched my heart to see the courageous soldier talking about why the struggle is so important. Freedom is worth fighting for, and if need be, worth dying for. Liberty or death. Protect the future of generations even not yet born. Protect your family and homeland. The cost of freedom is high, but it is worth the price. Best wishes and prayers for the Ukrainian people.
