'I Was Illegally Imprisoned in Russia': POW Surrendered to Get Asylum

  • DISCLAIMER: the POW gave his clear consent for filming and publishing this footage. POWs are protected by the Geneva Convention and treated accordingly in Ukraine.
A native of Georgia, Nodar was imprisoned in Russia, allegedly not guilty, but because of corrupt law enforcement entities in the federation, he served a sentence in the Russian prison. He used the opportunity to 'sign a contract with the army' and leave prison to fight in the war of aggression against Ukraine. According to his words, he had not fought even for a single day and immediately surrendered. Watch his confession in our exclusive video.

If Nodar is being truthful, he's one of the lucky ones.
Out of prison, not having to fight but a day, surrendering and living to tell about it.
Even in that short time, he's seen the horror the Russian soldiers are forced to inflict on their own.
Looks like Nodar is happy to have anyone listen to how unjustly he was treated and seems to have his facts together 4 years later.
Seems easy to convict the poor and powerless, while the powerful get away with a lot, unless Herr Putin has a vendetta against you.🙄
Russia's conviction rate is 99% and their justice system is corrupt and weak, so no surprises there.
Glory to the defenders of Ukraine.

I moved back to the US from Berlin. I lived just south of an area called Marzahn. It's known for having a large Russian population. They don't care about anything or anyone except themselves. Rules do not apply to them and they do not follow them unless you call them out. They behaved the same way in Turkey when I was there on vacation. People say Russians don't support Putin, but Russians are shitty selfish people. Can give examples if needed

If i'm not mistaken some countries would effectively and automatically revoke your citizenship status when you joining the military forces outside your country at any reasons, be it as regular troops, mercenary, mujahideen, or whatever it is. So most likely he would have to fight kinda bit bitterly in court (in this case, Georgian court) to reclaim his Georgian citizenship status.

    🙏🙏☦️
