That story is a heavy one, my mate .
Good content 👊🏾
Nobody has a square go these days
REST IN PEACE GARY!!! Hardest man this country has had. And a gentleman at that.
1980's was the best decade for night clubbing by a mile,,the best music by a mile, very little trouble if any clubbing in Liverpool or Wirral with the Punters,, the only people fighting were the bouncers V other bouncers 🤣🤣
Ecstacy raves and clubbing were the best years noone fights with E inside them
@@robwood8331you obviously never went The State. Fighting eed up is boss.
@stratblaster Was in the state every weekend, even the Thursday acid nights early days. Saw much less trouble than pre rave scene. Those bogs were scary before with regular fights and kicking off. The State was THE club to enjoy a night out.
Nar , Total Rubbish .............................
In My Dads Club he had a Doorman’s (Hate that Bouncers shout) Sunday back in The Early 1980,s unheard of today! He gave them a Pool Table (Which Dad Owned🤔) and a safe place to chill out with their Wifes and Girlfriends!
And guess what , not a single incident of Fighting, except maybe when Big Bernie (Studio 54) got owned on the Pool by Dad (Again) Then Joe Mac interceded 🤔
Great Memories ................................................RIP Dad
There was loads of fights in the 80s. Think in them days it was too much guiness.

Any old timers recall a legend in seafaring days in Liverpool of an old tough gay chap named Johnny Linus, as a callow young lad of 16 years I had an untoward incident on a vacant block at the back of the Spanish Wine house opposite St John gardens near the tunnel in the early 1970s, totally frightened the life out of me at the time
Yes heard of him did he have a brother
Unfortunately passed away in a Birkenhead nursing home apparently ended up working in Cammel Lairds
Researching a book on tough old Liverpool characters, not gangsters,Johnny Linus was one of those characters, a seafaring gay stoker who sailed from Liverpool to New York, spared Dublin’s Paddy Foley, seeking information/ photos ect for potential historical book.
Think gary spiers ended up lived in elton cheshire ' had marshal arts school in chester....believe when he jogged round elton all kids uesd run with him ....

No one is the most feared man because everyone bleeds doesn’t matter who you are there’s always someone more scary. It’s like rappers they say they’ll do this and that in their music but catch them in a shop alone they’ll shit themselves

Which rappers you mean if don't mind me asking ?...cheers
@@jshaw4757 the ones who chat 💩 about using guns and slapping bitches down etc etc. It’s hardly inspiring lyrics and setting a good example to the people they’re aiming this 💩at.

I maybe wrong but I'm sure there was 2 brothers who were hard knocks. The Llyons brothers years and years back. I think one was gay.
