Nice to see Paul on your podcast Bill. I'm glad to see he is doing well and keeping his head together. I was away with Paul from 2010-2014 in Walton. When he had not long started that IPP sentence, then we ended up in HMP Garth together. Sure enough, his reputation preceded him, but I personally found Paul to be respectable, old sckool and a gentleman. What you see in this interview is Paul, straight talking with no bullshit. He is somebody you definitely want on your side when you're kicking about in them shitholes that's for sure. I know Paul has much more to share and much more to give, but his time is better spent in the gym training the youngins and being a mentor. Talking about the past in front of the camera isn't easy for anyone, but for those who have actually lived that chaotic and violent life inside an out for years, it's time you would rather put behind you with lessons learnt. Especially when you are genuinely trying to move on with your life and better yourself. Still, it was a pleasure to see Paul, again, and even better to hear he is doing okay for himself, as I haven't seen him for 9 years or so... Nice one, Billy, and a big shout out to Paul for doing this interview! Hope you're keeping okay, lad! Takecare, John B. B/head.
The value that men like yourselves have to you young men who could take wrong turns in life cannot be overstated, it’s vital because you have the tough edge that is the one thing they either respect or are slightly afraid of. I’m sorry life treated you so badly that you went through tough times. I lived in Liverpool and Manchester in the late 80s through the 90s and into the 2000s before leaving for work. I have great fondness for the north west, some of the most decent and honest people I’ve come across in this country… I live in the quiet countryside now and it breaks my heart to see how tough life has become for so many people in those areas. Gentlemen thank you for getting yourselves straight and offering something back to the communities from which you hail… I honestly think you’re one of the only things that can make a difference to the young men who might go wrong. Big respect to you and your channel Billy for showing a balls and all view of the country!
Great chat with Paul there Bill..Hopefully it's the first of many because ime sure once he opens up on his full story he will be a massive inspiration to others..He has a menacing presence and you can see why he was well feared in the prison system but also at heart you can see he is a really nice fella ..Like most Scousers are..Well done Bill for getting Paul on..
The thing all these fellas have in common to me, is s sad reflection of their lives and experiences. The good thing is we can all change our lives for the better. Good to see Paul has decided to change his.
It's surprising how lineage of families, fathers and sons and there sons have gone down the same path, lots never changed or even looked and said to themselves "I don't wanna end up like my dad did or brother", And decided to change there ways
@@colinbrazier8836 I'm not sure it's that simple. As primary care givers we influence our children by our own beliefs and behaviours. If our children don't feel loved, they can grow up believing they aren't worthy of being loved, even if they meet someone who does. The inner voice says they can't really, they are just saying it etc etc, because if a parent doesn't, then nobody can. Also, if you witness feelings being managed through violence, you are more likely to see it as normal. It's only later, with help, they can try and undo the damage... many can't or it takes a long time.

Lovely to see Mr Harding. You are right billy lad, it’s an extremely tough place, jail…by far one of the hardest by reputation scousers I’ve ever met. I’ve spent lots of time with Paul in lots of prisons, at least 3 jails, and he had major clout in all of them, along with getting huge respect. I’m pleased to see this man still alive & kicking. Putting something back, this man people could learn more than you think from. Answer to your question: The screws treated you very differently when you had a reputation. I’d get away with murder in there… 20 canteens on my bed wouldn’t get touched. Good to reminisce while watching this …. Keep well Mr Harding

A tough man but you would not think it. I can tell he is a very Humble type of Guy and a kind person. Good luck to you Fella.
I live in Manchester and have relatives that come from Manchester but i originally come from a town outside the city. This town had a childrens home that had children from divorced parents or no parents. They were mainly from Liverpool so i was at school with them. They were difficult but no more than the kids from the council estate in the town. But one scouser was sent down for murdering someone and knew him from the gym i went to but he`s out now doing alright for himself as a saw on facebook.
It's clear to see 2 wild uns have become humble, inspired ...rip to juddah, and all the lost....I've been in the rooms this past yr,the penny's dropping..I've dropped addiction to some mean ass pills,no bash in chemist swagg, I am just starting to come out the other side ...Paul has if he wants it,the potential to so much good ,you've helped one,me,if that means anything, and Billy, I have been getting inspiration from you for years, god bless you both x
Jonathan you have got to keep fighting mate, we must beat this with all we've got, you are doing great by the sounds of it, so keep up the good work, and thanks for your comment, Godbless you Jonathan 🙏✊️

Hi guys I use to go down to the pool a long time ago but it was to the area called Walton,as I had good friends down there and I use to love going down there because all the people were really friendly and they would all make us feel really welcome, yeah even if we didn't know them. But up here in Aberdeen where I stay people are not like that haha 😂 So all you scousers go your self's !! Xx

Ex navy he is mate! It would be more of a surprise if he wasnt mentioned he was a big name in the cat B jails your right though proper sound fella but he could definitely turn if prodded with a stick very hard man same as Paul they don’t have to brag about it there reputation is already there nothing to prove with them
@Lewis-wq8de he's a gent mate but cross him in the day you would be in trouble like. I think his health is bad now tbh which is sad
@@ste2472000 yeah he’s getting older now 64 he’s still big though isn’t he when i seen him I thought he was still a big unit I remember hearing stories of Brian when he was inside years ago well respected by all accounts I don’t know if you know his brother John sound fella but could be a loon an was probably the better fighter out the two I hope Brian’s health improves though an he can live a peaceful life now
@Lewis-wq8de he had issues even getting out, so a military charity I won't name took him in. He had some bird on the go in Blackpool and moved there, but the last I heard, he is back in Liverpool now. Tbh, mate, I think he was stiched right up with that sentence

Newly subbed to your channel Billy & absolutely loved that video mate. two down to earth humble men who’ve experienced life behind the door. respect to you both, and hope you manage to make more like this
Hi Bill was enjoyable your chat with Paul. A longer podcast would be great. I bet you’ve both got more stories be good to hear. Seems a really chilled humble guy. That’s what I like about your stories and your manner. It’s always told with humility and humour too though.
❤️💙
Great interview with a real McCoy.
Carry on with recovery and all the best in life to both you 🤝
Thanks 🙏
Top interview Billy❤️🫡
All our strength and respect for your education.

I can see why Paul was feared.
Just love to hear he hates bullying.
A bully’s worst nightmare.
Bet most of his sentences were for protecting others like mine.
Bless❤️

You can tell this man is the real deal tho! Just wants peace after all the wars he's had!
They’ll most likely be on the run/chased out/grafting
Good luck for the future Paul, my dad's a pigeon man also, all the best.

There’s so many fake hard men on RUclips and you can tell he ain’t one of them all the best and I hope ur channel continues to grow in the new year
This shows the difference between someone who wants to be hard and someone who is hard real hard men cringe at people taking about times they knocked people out
I’ve noticed that the real ones tend not to like talking about it
Seems a top guy if either of u need any help digital media stuff like that websites etc happy help free
Another great watch Billy keep em coming and all the best for the new year
Did well getting him to talk Billy, He has got loads of stories, but He is not ready yet. Softly, Softly Catchee Paulee. Book him in mate xx

Any chance of getting Barry grant on next mate he was a hard case from liverpool in the 90s or Jimmy corkhill😂

Best wishes Paul from Scotland 🏴 a great listen.
❤️
First person I've heard of getting out on there Ipp tariff
Straight off the 8 tariff
Thank you for the shout out Billy !! 💯❤️💫😇 Paul’s face lit up lad when he heard my name! 😃 I see that sparkling glint in his eyes is still there for all to see! You’ll get tons of fascinating stories about everyone and everything I feel if only you get those hours in with paul as he will begin to really open up as he’s a genuine top fella with an incredibly gifted mind to match 💯
Nice one mate 💙❤️
@@theallornothingpodcastwith4442 🫡🎰😌☀️🎯 nice one Billy lad 💫
Great podcast. What a kind hearted guy he seems.wish you both the best of luck for the future
Nice man who appears damaged. Doing lots of time is a wasted life.
