Thank you for posting this. I used this as a temporary fix. As you mentioned I drilled a small hole in the part of the clamp that was drilled in place. Used a bread tie to run through the drilled hole and the slat opening and twisted the wire together. Works great. This should hold until I purchase a new set.
Have this exact problem right now and this was an interesting idea I hadn't thought of. I was actually trying to search if it was replaceable but looks like a lost cause
@@ns2443 I figured it out. Gorilla Super Glue Gel works, perfectly, if the clip breaks apart. Let it cure, for 48 hours. Then, attach the slat. Hasn't fallen.

Love it McGyver- saved me $32 from having to buy a new head rail. Used a small screw into the remaining clip instead of wire- worked great.

Can you just Crazy Glue the broken piece back on?
I tried that before and it fell right off after couple days.
